Baoh Review

https://youtu.be/jQl7z5OtweY

Well it's Time to Meet the Predecessor of Jojo guys, a review on Baoh real name

Ikuro Hashizawa, Now don't get mad at me but i am not really a big fan of Jojo mostly because i couldn't find you know that click that makes you really like the a show or something like but we are not here to talk about Jojo but Boah this is my Review on the 1989 OVA, Enjoy.

(What Is Baoh?)

Now let's talk about what Boah is, it was manga by Hirohiko Araki the Creator of Jojo's Bizarre Adventures, But Before Jojo was his Manga Boah, which does have some Jojo elements in there if you are a big fan i am sure you can spot it out. It had its run on Weekly Shōnen Jump, From May 20th 1984 to February 12 1985, and was released in Two Volumes.

Now the Plot of Boah was that it was about a 17 year old boy named Ikuro Hashizawa who is kidnapped and Turned into a Baoh, a Bioweapon that comes with superhuman strength and other crazy abilities, like Blades that come out of the arms, I think they are needles coming on of his hair and Etc, he is Given these abilities by Doress Laboratory, he then escapes Doress with the Help of a 9 year old Psychic Girl Named Sumrie, The Head scientist Sends out various assassins and monsters to try and kill Ikuro, With The Reason in Stopping The Boah Virus inside Ikuro from spreading and infecting the world.

 (Baoh OVA)

Now in 1989, Boah got a 48 Minute OVA which is what we will be talking about. Maybe I might read the manga and make a Review but here will be talking about the OVA. The OVA was Directed by Hiroyuki Yokoyama and Written By Kenji Terada, and Done by Studio Pierrot, It was Released in November 1st 1989, and the was licenced for an English DVD Release by AnimEigo In 2000, and was released in 2001, Now this OVA Does have an English Dub and we will get to that soon, just to say as we all should know old English Dubs Tend to be not so good.

(My Thoughts on Baoh)

So What are my Thoughts on Baoh?, Well even if i am not a Big Fan of Jojo it mostly stands for the Anime Style don't fight me over it this is just what i think, but i let it settle with me in Boah, Now I wasn't a big fan was the Close-Ups into Sumrie's face and some of the Face Expressions the Characters Made in General, The Story was a Bit Confusing at times, But was Great, Including the Music and There was lots of Blood and Gore.

I also Got Confused when Dordo was revealed to be a Cyborg, Though he did look cool as a Cyborg and a Fake Human? I Guess i have to say, I Liked Ikuro Design when he becomes Baoh it's Pretty Cool Looking, and Sumire was an Ok character, and once it gotten to the end of the I can say Baoh can be Sequel Material, I like would like to see a Sequel of Baoh, Like heck I know they made a DLC of Ikuro The Jojo Video Game, Jojo's Bizarre Adventures: All Stars Battle, so if they make a Crossover of Baoh and Jojo Don't know what would happen but i bet it would be good, Maybe it Might get me a Chance to get into loving Jojo, maybe by not getting Punched in the Face too in the Process.

(Do I Recommend Baoh?)

And so i Recommend Giving Baoh a Try, The story is Great but i Bet the Manga tells it better because you know how it works when Anime can not be faithful to manga, me i don't care i am like P3 Protag here, Though do like it in Japanese better the English Dub, Both are still go in there own right in My book that is, I'll let you decide on that anyways i am gonna end my review and work on others that i Need to get ready, but you like the Review on Baoh and don't you dare go yelling at me in the Comments for not likely Jojo that much i rather not get Hit in the face with his Million punches whatever it's called you know what i am talking about. Just let me take my time to decide to get into it. Anyways see ya.
