Two years later

"Matthew!" I say " you need to go to Rose's wedding with the kids!"

"I don't want to leave you!" He objected kissing me.

"Look, its only a week and by my tracker it's when you don't have anything anyway. So what is the issue?"

"Ok I will go and take the kids... I worry though, Mark's daughter is the dead ring of him. If Mark sees her he might recognise her as his."

"Doesn't matter if he does, love, your her father on the birth certificate and every other way. But the kids need to see their other grandparents too."

"You're right! I am being silly, thanks for letting me go "

"Why are you thanking me? She's your sister! Of course you must go, I just wish that I could go too. I will miss you. "

"Me too" he said bringing me into his irresistible hugs and kisses.

He left me then to go with the kids to see their grandparents. I missed them horribly when they had gone, but unless I went with them, it was unavoidable. Even after all this time I couldn't face it.

Matthew's view

I hated leaving my wife behind, I would have loved to be at Rose's wedding with her and the kids, but I knew that it was impossible. She still was sore from the betrayal of my brother.

I know that she loved me and trusted me but Mark had left her with a scar on her heart. One not easily healed.

I arrived to my parents home with my kids and introduced them to my 2 and 1 year old.

"Wow, your first kid looks exactly like Mark and your second must look like the mother as I see no family resemblance apart from your brown eyes in her!"

I look at Crystal and realised that she did indeed look like Karen, but thankfully my colour eyes threw them off identifying her.

"You have been busy" commented my brother Mark which immediately got my back up.

"Yeah, so what's wrong with that?" I ask "Isn't it normal for a husband and wife to have sex and children?"

"I suppose" he answered looking at my children, it was like he could almost see who the mother was but not quite. "I'm getting married too" he said "She will be here later."
