Our relationship with Mark and his wife didn't ever improve despite Mum, Dad and Rose explaining to them how exactly they insulted us. Mark and Tracey ended up divorced after having 2 kids together as Tracey never got over finding out Karen's first child was Mark's. Mark never went out with anyone else as he didn't get over Tracey. It was many years later that they remarried and they were happy then.

Rose had 2 children as well and stopped there as she did not think she could cope with more after seeing our 3 children on a bad day. Her marriage survived the yuck years of marriage and now they are happier than usual.

As for Karen and I, we never got tired of each other but we sure squabbled a lot in our yuck years. When I was being too unreasonable, she left me to visit her friend Ruby, which always made me realise how much I loved her. I am so glad that we made it through. Karen is pregnant again at 48 with our 6th and last child.

Karen's view

I am pregnant again with my last child as Crystal is with her first child, our 4th grandchild. My boy is a miracle baby as I was not supposed to have any more kids but he appeared out of nowhere.

I have never regretted marrying Matthew. He has been both my rescuer and rock and I thank God for him every day. I could not have asked for a better husband.
