Matthew's view

Karen called me as I was watching our kids. I hadn't seen Mark go off to be by himself to call her, but I had seen him walk back with a almost tormented look on his face. I wondered what it was about for 2 seconds before repaying attention to my kids.

"Hey honey, what is up?" I ask, as she would not normally call me until later when we could talk without interruption, but usually it was me calling her.

"Mark rang." She said. I could hear that she was upset by this.

"He did, what did he want?" I asked.

"He basically asked me if there was a chance, I would go back to him, assuming I heard right."

"WHAT? " I yell "what the fuck was he thinking? He's engaged to be married too!"

"What?" Karen says confused. "He's engaged? Why is he chasing me then?"

I thought about it. "Perhaps because Rose and I pointed out that she was almost the dead ring of you."

Karen's view

"What? Really? God, I hope that he doesn't do the same thing to her as he did to me!" I say worried.

"Rose and I will try to discourage him. Don't worry. "

"Ok" I say "I miss you "

His voice drops to the voice that makes me want him "I miss you too, love"

"Matthew, I have to tell you before I forget again. "

"Yes"

"I am pregnant again."

"What? Really? That's great news!" I can hear him smiling down the phone. " I really love you, you know!"

"I know, I love you too" and we finish the conversation with endearments.

Matthew's view

I can't believe it. We are blessed again! I couldn't wait to get home to my wife but thought I better fill Rose in on what had happened. Rose was shocked and knew just how to handle our brother, so I left it to her as I was likely to knock him out for going after my wife after just leaving her like he did.
