As you entered the university campus, you spotted Yoora excitedly waving her hands in the air. Making your way towards her, you saw her brother Jimin and Taehyung, following closely behind her.
"Hey! There you are!" Yoora chirped, pulling you into the conversation.
Your smile was forced as you greeted her, knowing that things were about to take a turn for the worse with Jimin and Taehyung present. Yoora introduced you to them, and you offered a curt nod, feeling their judgmental eyes boring into you.
Yoora's voice was cheerful as she chattered away, oblivious to the underlying tension. Jimin's voice sliced through the air like a cold blade, "So, you're the friend Yoora's been talking about?"
You stood silently, feeling the weight of their gaze bearing down on you.
Taehyung's voice dripped with fake sweetness as he addressed you, "Oh, so nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you." Jimin's eyes bore into yours, a silent threat lingering in the air.
"We should all hang out sometime," Yoora chirped, unaware of the unspoken animosity.
Taehyung's voice cut through the uneasy silence, "Sure, we can give it a try." His tone held a hint of malice that sent a shiver down your spine.
You tried to play it cool, not wanting to upset Yoora, who seemed unaware of the underlying tension. But Taehyung's glare bore into you, a reminder of the countless times he had made your life miserable.
Jimin's smile didn't reach his eyes, "Of course, Yoora. We'll try to be civil, for your sake."
The conversation continued, but you couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Taehyung's sly remarks and Jimin's subtle threats hung heavy in the air, overshadowing the friendly facade they put up for Yoora's sake.
"So, how do you know each other?" Yoora asked, looking between you and Taehyung.
Before you could answer, Taehyung cut in smoothly, "Oh, we've met a few times around campus."
Jimin added, "Small world, right?"
You stayed silent, not wanting to cause a scene. Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, Jungkook, arrived with a grin. You were baffled to see him exchanging friendly nods with Taehyung and Jimin, realizing that he was, in fact, friends with them.
"Hey, guys. What's going on?" Jungkook's presence brought a sense of relief, though you couldn't shake off the unease of knowing he was close friends with Taehyung and Jimin.
Yoora tried to ease the tension, unaware of the underlying animosity. "Let's not spoil the day, guys. We're all friends here, right?"
As the group awkwardly exchanged pleasantries, you couldn't shake off the feeling that this uneasy truce wouldn't last for long. Taehyung and Jimin may have put on a facade for the sake of Yoora, but you knew their hostility towards you ran deep.
As you walked away, you couldn't shake the feeling that this encounter was only the beginning of more trouble to come.

Taehyung's mind was consumed by thoughts of revenge. He couldn't believe how smart you were to befriend Yoora, his childhood friend. Perhaps you knew that being close to her would protect you from his bullying, he mused. But I won't let it happen, he thought with an evil glint in his eyes. He was determined to make you regret the day you decided to ally with his friend.
In his mind, he was convinced that you were merely using the friendship as a shield to protect yourself. Taehyung simmered with anger and vowed to make you pay for what he perceived as manipulation.
As you stood on the university terrace, the cool breeze gently caressed your face, cooling the mixture of nerves and anticipation that coursed through your veins. Taehyung had called you to meet him here, and despite your better judgment, you had obliged.
Time seemed to stretch endlessly as you waited, growing more irritated with each passing minute. About to give up and leave, you muttered to yourself, "Why did I even bother? He's probably just playing another one of his cruel pranks."
Just as you turned to walk away, the door swung open, and there he was, Taehyung, striding towards you with that signature cocky swagger. Before you could react, you collided with each other, stumbling and teetering dangerously close to the edge of the terrace.
But to your shock, Taehyung swiftly shifted his weight, twisting his body, he switched your positions, causing you to fall on top of him.
You found yourself nose-to-nose with your him, the air thick with tension and confusion. Strands of Taehyung's midnight hair tickled your forehead as you struggled for breath, his intense gaze piercing through your defenses.
"Are you trying to kill me?" Taehyung grumbled, a hint of irritation tainting his voice.
"I didn't expect you to save me," you mumbled softly, your heart racing in your chest.
"Well, well, well," he said, his voice dripping with an evil charm. "Look who ended up in my arms, of all people."
You tried to push yourself off him, but he held you in place, his grip firm but strangely gentle.
"Sunbae, let me go!" you demanded, your voice trembling with a mixture of defiance and uncertainty.
His eyes sparkled with an unpredictable mixture of mischief and cunning. "Not so fast."
"So, why am I here?" you finally managed to ask, attempting to regain some control over the situation.
His eyes bore into yours, searching for any sign of deception or wrongdoings. "I've noticed you've become quite friendly with Yoora lately. Are you doing it on purpose because she's my friend?"
Confusion mixed with frustration clouded your mind. Yoora had become your friend through shared interests, and Taehyung had no place in that equation.
"You have it all wrong, Sunbae," you said, your voice steady. "Befriending Yoora had nothing to do with you. I genuinely enjoy her company, and our friendship developed naturally. I have no ulterior motives."
Taehyung's piercing gaze locked onto yours, a cold and evil glint in his eyes. "Is this your twisted way of seeking revenge?" he growled, a trace of anger seeping into his words.
"I understand that Yoora is your friend," you replied, trying to keep your voice steady. "But our friendship has nothing to do with whatever grievances you have against me."
Taehyung's expression remained icily indifferent, unfazed by your words. He leaned in closer, his face only inches away from yours. "You think having Yoora on your side will protect you? You're mistaken," he hissed, his words laced with venom. "Nothing will ever stop me from making your life miserable."
His words stung, but you refused to show weakness in front of him. Saying that he stood up and left.
You sat on the terrace, the cool breeze ruffling your hair as tears streamed down your cheeks. Taehyung had just left you standing there, his hurtful words echoing in your mind.
You were oblivious as to when Jungkook sat down beside you, concern evident in his eyes. "Hey, are you okay? I've noticed Taehyung has been acting weird around you. Is he bullying you?"
You shook your head, not wanting to cause any trouble. "No, it's nothing. We just have our differences, that's all."
Jungkook's brow furrowed as he said. "I know you're not telling me the whole truth. You can confide in me, you know."
You hesitated, not wanting to cause any tension between Jungkook and Taehyung, who were close friends. "It's really nothing, Jungkook. I can handle it. Please don't worry about me."
Jungkook furrowed his brows. "If he's bothering you, you can tell me. We're friends, and I don't want anyone to mess with you."
You appreciated his kindness but insisted, "I can handle it." You didn't want to create any tension between Jungkook and Taehyung.
Jungkook sighed, looking unconvinced. "Alright, but remember, I'm here for you if you ever need help. Don't hesitate to reach out, okay?"
You smiled gratefully at Jungkook's offer of support. "Thank you, Jungkook. I'll keep that in mind." Deep down, you knew you could rely on Jungkook if things ever took a turn for the worse.

Later that day you entered the cafe with a heavy heart, knowing that you were late once again. As you hurried in, the cafe owner, Mr. Ahn, spotted you and his face darkened with frustration.
Mr. Ahn called you over to the counter. "You're late again, Y/n. This is the third time this month. I've warned you before about punctuality. If you're late one more time, I'll have to let you go."
You felt a lump form in your throat as you tried to apologize. "I'm really sorry, Mr. Ahn. It won't happen again. I promise."
He sighed, clearly disappointed. "I hope you understand the importance of being on time. This is a job, not a hangout spot. I need reliable employees."
"I understand, Mr. Ahn. I'll make sure to be on time from now on," you promised sincerely.
Mr. Ahn nodded, his expression softening slightly. "Alright. I'll give you one more chance. But remember, time is money. Don't make me regret this decision."
Mr. Ahn nodded, his expression stern yet understanding. The rest of the day, you worked extra hard, determined to prove to the cafe owner that you were reliable despite your occasional tardiness.

Next day
Your first class was cancelled so you sat alone in the university garden, trying to blend in with the background as much as possible. Your eyes were fixed on your textbook, but you couldn't focus on a single word.
A shadow fell over your book, and you looked up to see Taehyung, smirking down at you. "The little loser all by themselves again," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
You swallowed hard, trying to ignore his words. "Just leave me alone, please," you muttered, hoping he would take the hint and move along.
But he didn't. Instead, he leaned in closer, his breath hot on your face. "What's the matter, too scared to talk to me? Or are you just too stupid to come up with a comeback?"
You felt your cheeks burn with embarrassment, but you refused to let him see how much his words affected you. "I have nothing to say to you. Just go away."
Taehyung chuckled, the sound sending shivers down your spine. "You know, you're kind of cute when you're all flustered like this. Maybe I should make a habit of picking on you more often."
You clenched your fists in anger, willing yourself not to show any weakness in front of him. "Why are you always so mean to me? What did I ever do to you?"
Taehyung's eyes darkened, and he leaned even closer, his lips almost brushing against your ear. "You exist. And that's reason enough for me to make your life a living hell."
"Ignore him, just keep walking," you thought to yourself, trying to keep your composure. But Taehyung had other plans. He grabbed your backpack and tossed it into a nearby puddle, making all the books and notes drenched in icy water.
"What's the matter, can't handle a little water?" Taehyung taunted, his eyes glinting with malice. You felt your face burn with humiliation as you watched your hard work ruined.
Taehyung laughs, his voice dripping with malice. "Oh, what are you going to do, cry? Run to the teacher like a little baby?"
You feel the familiar sting of tears threatening to spill, but you refuse to give him the satisfaction. "Just go away."
Taehyung moves closer, his breath hot against your neck. "Or what, you'll finally stand up to me? I'd like to see you try."
You can feel the eyes of the other students on you, watching the exchange with morbid curiosity. Taehyung's friends snicker, egging him on.
"Come on, show us what you're made of," Taehyung taunts, shoving you hard against the tree.
You stumble, pain shooting through your shoulder. You turn to face Taehyung, your fists trembling with anger and fear. "Stop it, Sunbae. Why are you so cruel?"
Taehyung's grin widens, his eyes glinting with malice. "Because it's fun, loser. And nobody is going to stop me."
With that, Taehyung walks away, leaving you standing there, shaking with a mixture of rage and humiliation. The other students disperse, leaving you alone with your thoughts, wondering how long you can endure Taehyung's torment.
