When the morning sun gently filtered through the curtains of the room, casting a warm glow on the soft furnishings, you mustered up the courage to walk into Taehyung's room. His face lit up upon seeing you, but the joy in his eyes swiftly dimmed as you uttered the words that had been weighing heavily on your heart.

"Taehyung, I... I think we should get a divorce," you spoke softly, the words hanging heavily in the air.

His expression shifted from one of happiness to one of shock and then to anger. His jaw clenched as he approached you, his eyes filled with a mix of hurt and frustration. "Why?

He advanced towards you, his movements swift and filled with an intensity that made your heart race. Pushing you back against the wall, he loomed over you, his gaze piercing into your soul.

"How could you leave me 3 years ago without a word?" he demanded, his voice strained with hurt and betrayal. "Why did you vanish without a trace?"

Tears welled up in your eyes as memories flooded back, the pain of the past resurfacing with a vengeance. "I thought it was for the best," you murmured, your voice trembling. "I thought you deserved someone better than me."

Taehyung's features softened for a moment, his anger giving way to hurt and confusion. "You were everything to me," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I would have waited forever if you had just given me a chance to understand."

You stared at him, emotions swirling inside you. "I needed time to find myself, Taehyung. You were suffocating me."

He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I loved you, I still love you. How could you just abandon me like that?"

Tears welled up in your eyes as you struggled to explain. "I never wanted to hurt you."

You remained silent, not daring to voice the turmoil brewing inside you. How could you explain the agony of leaving him behind, the shattered dreams and the broken promises?

"You were going to get engaged, without a second thought about us," Taehyung's words cut through the air like a sharp blade, leaving you raw and exposed.

"Taehyung, it's complicated," you began, your voice barely above a whisper. "We just... weren't right for each other. You deserve someone who can give you the love and happiness you deserve."

His hands clenched into fists at his sides, his jaw tight with restrained emotion. "Don't you dare decide what's best for me, Y/n. You may have left, but my heart never let go of you."

Your heart hammered in your chest as you struggled to find the right words. "I... I just don't think we're meant to be together," you managed to reply, your voice wavering slightly.

"You can't be serious. I see the love in your eyes, I feel it in your touch. Why would you want to leave me?" Anger flickered in Taehyung's eyes, and for a moment, you feared his reaction. "If you want to walk away from this, fine. But know that it will come at a cost," he warned, his tone cold and final.

Your heart raced as his words sank in. "Taehyung, please, don't say that."

He leaned in closer, his breath warm against your face. "I would rather die than live without you, Y/n. If you choose to walk away, you will take a piece of me with you."

His steps heavy as he left the room, the sound of the door slamming echoing in the empty space. The emotions that flickered across his face revealed a mix of pain, anger, and a hint of longing.

Taehyung walked into his cabin, finding Jungkook already present inside. Jungkook raised an eyebrow and asked, "Hey, Taehyung, where did you disappear to yesterday? I tried calling you, but you didn't pick up."

Taehyung hesitated for a moment before replying, "Oh, I had some urgent personal matters to attend to. Sorry for not informing you earlier."

Jungkook crossed his arms and gave Taehyung a skeptical look. "Personal matters, huh? You know you can tell me anything, right?"

Taehyung nodded, feeling a pang of guilt at keeping his friend in the dark. "I know, Jungkook. It's just that...

Jungkook furrowed his brows, concern evident in his eyes. "Is everything okay, Taehyung? You know you can always count on me, right?"

Taehyung hesitated for a moment before finally speaking, his voice barely above a whisper, "I found Y/n. We... we got married yesterday."

Jungkook's jaw dropped. "Married?! Taehyung, are you serious? That's... that's unbelievable."

Taehyung sighed deeply, feeling the weight of his actions settling in. "I know, it all happened so fast. But seeing her again after so long, it just felt right."

Taehyung nodded weakly, tears glistening in his eyes. "But... but she wants a divorce, Jungkook. She said she can't be with me anymore."

Jungkook felt his heart clench at the sight of his friend's pain. "Tae, I... I don't know what to say," he muttered, at a loss for words.

Tears streamed down Taehyung's cheeks as he continued, "I can't lose her, Jungkook. I can't go through that pain again."

Jungkook's heart ached for his friend as he listened to Taehyung's heartbreaking confession. He reached out to Taehyung, offering comfort in the face of his friend's despair.

"We'll get through this together, Tae," Jungkook reassured him, his voice filled with empathy. "I'll talk to her."

----------------------------

As the doorbell echoed through the house, you hurried to answer it, not expecting any visitors at this time. And there, standing on the doorstep, was Jungkook. It had been three long years since you last saw him, but the anger in his eyes was palpable.

"Jungkook," you whispered his name, startled to see him standing there after three long years of silence. His eyes met yours, holding a storm of emotions that sent a shiver down your spine.

"Are you happy now?" his voice was cold and full of accusation. "After hurting Taehyung so much, did you get what you wanted?"

You were taken aback by his words, unsure of how to respond. "Jungkook, I didn't mean to hurt Taehyung," you began, but he cut you off.

"You knew how much he cared for you, and yet you left him without a word," Jungkook's voice trembled with emotion. "You broke his heart."

Tears welled up in your eyes as you tried to explain, "It wasn't intentional, Jungkook. I had to leave for my own reasons..."

"Reasons?" Jungkook scoffed, his tone bitter. "What reasons could justify leaving someone you supposedly loved?"

You were taken aback by the harshness of his words, not expecting such a confrontation after all these years. You struggled to find the right words as Jungkook continued, recounting the pain Taehyung had endured in your absence.

"After you left him three years back, do you know how much he cried? He left his family for you, gave up everything for a chance at a future with you. Every day, every single day, he would cry for the love that was lost."

Tears welled up in your eyes as memories of Taehyung flooded your mind. You never meant to hurt him, never intended for things to end the way they did. But fate had a cruel way of pulling people apart, leaving behind a trail of broken hearts and unanswered questions.

You realized then the depth of the hurt you had caused, the pain you had unknowingly inflicted on him.

"I never wanted to hurt him," you whispered, your voice barely above a breath. "I thought leaving was the best choice, for both of us."

Jungkook's expression softened, the anger in his eyes giving way to a flicker of understanding. "Maybe you had your reasons," he said quietly. "But sometimes, the choices we make have consequences we never intended."

"I don't expect you to understand the pain you caused Taehyung," he admitted, his voice weary. "But I hope you never have to feel the regret and loneliness he's been living with."

With those words, Jungkook turned to leave, his footsteps echoing down the empty street. And as you stood alone in the doorway, the weight of his words lingered in the air, a reminder of the consequences of actions left unexplained and hearts left broken.

------------------------------------

As you went to your room and closed the door behind you, tears welled up in your eyes. Each sob that wracked your body was a physical manifestation of the guilt that consumed you.

Jungkook's words echoed in your mind, his voice filled with a sadness you had never heard before. He spoke of Taehyung's suffering in your absence, and each word felt like a dagger through your heart. How could you have been so blind to the hurt you had caused someone you cared about?

"Why did I do this? How could I have been so selfish?" you whispered to yourself, the words echoing in your empty room.

Sitting on your bed, you buried your face in your hands as the tears flowed freely. Guilt consumed you, the realization of the pain you had inflicted hitting you like a tidal wave. You had never intended for things to turn out this way, but now it was too late to turn back the clock.

"I should have stayed. I should have talked to him. I should have considered his feelings," you whispered, the guilt weighing heavily on your shoulders.

The room seemed to close in around you, suffocating you with the weight of your own emotions. You wished you could turn back time, go back to the moment before everything unraveled. But deep down, you knew that some mistakes could never be undone, no matter how much you wished otherwise.

"I never realized..."

"I had no idea he felt that way..."

"How could I have been so blind?"

As the sobs wracked your body, you made a silent vow to yourself. You would find a way to make things right, to heal the wounds you had caused. It wouldn't be easy, and it wouldn't happen overnight, but you owed it to Taehyung to try.

"Did Taehyung think I abandoned him on purpose?"

"Was he waiting for me to come back all this time?"

"How can I face him after what I've done?"

And so, with a heavy heart and tear-stained cheeks, you vowed to do whatever it took to mend the broken pieces of your relationship with Taehyung.

-------------------------------------

As the clock ticked away the minutes, you found yourself growing more and more restless in the living room, waiting for Taehyung. You had no idea where he was or what was keeping him so long. Frustration began to simmer within you as you tapped your foot impatiently on the floor.

Minutes turned into hours, and still, there was no sign of Taehyung. You reached for your phone, intending to give him a call, only to realize you didn't have his number. You cursed under your breath, feeling even more helpless.

With a heavy sigh, you settled back onto the couch, feeling the exhaustion of the day weigh heavily on your shoulders. The warmth of the room and the soft glow of the lamp beside you made it all too easy to surrender to sleep.

You fought to keep your eyes open, but eventually, the heaviness won over, and you drifted off into a deep sleep.
