As you sat in your room, staring at your reflection in the mirror, doubt clouded your mind. Was this truly what you wanted? Were you ready to get engaged to Yeonjun? But deep down, in the pit of your stomach, you knew something was missing. You weren't happy.

You stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the intricate lace of the engagement gown, a knot of unease twisted in your stomach.

Your Outfit

Lost in your thoughts, the door to your room suddenly burst open, causing you to spin around in surprise. Your eyes widened as you saw him - Taehyung, the one who had once held your heart in his hands. It had been three long years since you saw him, yet his presence felt as familiar as ever.

"Y/n," Taehyung's voice was a whisper, filled with emotions you couldn't quite decipher. He took a step towards you, his eyes stuck at you searching yours for answers.

You gulped, the air thick with unresolved feelings and unspoken words. "Taehyung," you breathed, the name tasting bittersweet on your tongue.

He studied you intently before speaking again, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "I heard about your engagement. Are you happy, Y/n?"

You struggled to form words, shock and fear blending together. "Taehyung, what are you doing here?" you managed to whisper, trying to keep your voice steady.

Ignoring your question, he stalked toward you, his every step echoing in the small room. His hand shot out, gripping your arm with a force that made you wince. "Three years, Y/n. Three years without a word from you. Do you have any idea how that felt?"

Your mind raced, memories flooding back at the mention of the time that had passed since you and Taehyung had parted ways. The pain of separation, the unanswered questions, the lingering love that refused to fade.

"I had to move on, Taehyung." you defended, your eyes pleading with him to understand.

His gaze softened for a brief moment before hardening again. "Move on? With him?" he practically spat the words, his jaw clenched in anger as he referred to Yeonjun.

You swallowed the lump in your throat, the weight of the situation crushing down on you. "Taehyung, please listen. I--"

"No, Y/n. You listen," he interrupted, his voice thick with pent-up emotions. "I can't stand by and watch you make a mistake. I know you, better than anyone else. And I know that you're not happy."

You took a hesitant step back, but he advanced towards you with purpose, seizing your arm with a forceful grip. Panic clawed at your throat as he pulled you closer, too close.

Struggling to break free from his hold, you mustered the courage to speak, "Taehyung, what are you doing here? People are waiting for me downstairs..."

His grip only tightened as he cut you off, his voice low and dangerous, "There won't be an engagement today, Y/n. You're coming with me."

Your heart raced as you felt his breath on your face, his presence overwhelming. You tried to break free from his grasp, but his hold on you only tightened.

"Taehyung, what are you doing?" you managed to whisper, fear creeping into your voice.

Ignoring your question, he continued to drag you towards the back door. You begged him to stop, reminding him of the engagement ceremony waiting for you.

Before you knew it, you found yourself in his car, the seatbelt clicked around you before Taehyung took the driver's seat. The car pulled out of the driveway, leaving behind the life you thought you were about to enter.

As the car sped through the streets, your heart raced faster than the vehicle. Taehyung's presence beside you filled the car with tension, the air thick with unspoken words and unresolved emotions. You stole glances at him, his features etched with determination and a hint of regret.

"Taehyung, please," you spoke softly, hoping to break the deafening silence that enveloped you both. "I am getting engaged today."

His grip on the steering wheel tightened, knuckles turning white against his skin. "Y/n, I can't let you make this mistake," he muttered, his gaze fixed on the road ahead. "You don't love Yeonjun. You love me."

Your heart ached at his words, memories flooding back like a raging river breaking through a dam. "It's not that simple, Taehyung," you whispered, fingers trembling in your lap. "We can't just pick up where we left off."

----------------------------

When the car finally came to a stop outside a small church, your eyes widened in disbelief. Taehyung pulled you out of the car, his grip unyielding as he dragged you towards the entrance.

As you stared into Taehyung's eyes, memories of your past flooded back into your mind. You remembered the late-night conversations, the adventures you shared, and the love that once bloomed between the two of you. But that was all in the past now.

"You can't do this, Taehyung," you said desperately, trying to reason with him as he dragged you towards the church. "I am getting engaged today, everyone must be waiting for me."

Taehyung's grip tightened on your arm, and his gaze bore into yours with intensity. "I don't care about your engagement, Y/n. You are meant to be with me, and I won't let you make this mistake."

"You'll marry me, or I'll kill myself right here," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.

"You've gone mad, let me go, I don't want to be here."

"If you don't marry me today," he said, his voice laced with a mixture of pain and determination, "I will never let you go. I will die before I allow you to slip away from me again."

As you entered the church, the sound of footsteps echoed through the empty halls. Taehyung led you towards the altar, where a priest stood waiting with a solemn expression. You could feel the tension in the air, the weight of the decisions that had brought you to this moment.

"Do you, Kim Taehyung, take Han Y/n to be your lawfully wedded spouse, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

Taehyung's eyes never left yours as he replied with unwavering certainty, "I do."

The priest then turned to you, his gaze kind and understanding, and asked, "And do you, Han Y/n, take Kim Taehyung to be your lawfully wedded spouse, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

You looked into Taehyung's eyes, searching for answers, searching for the truth. And in that moment, you knew what you had to do. With a trembling voice, you spoke the words that would change everything.

"I-I do."

The priest smiled warmly at both of you before declaring, "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Your hands trembled as you nervously fiddled with your fingers. Taehyung stepped forward, his gaze soft yet determined, and cupped your face in his hands. He leaned in slowly, and as his lips brushed against yours forehead, you closed your eyes.

In that moment, as he kissed your forehead with so much love, the world faded away. Thoughts raced through your mind, a whirlwind of confusion and longing, as Taehyung's touch ignited a spark deep within your heart.

"I love you," he whispered against your ear, his voice filled with a tenderness that made your heart ache.

------------------------------

As you and Taehyung arrived at his house after getting married, a cloud of silence hung between you. He held your hand tightly, leading you inside with a solemn expression. Exhaustion weighed heavily on your shoulders, making you feel dizzy and disoriented.

As you stepped inside, the walls seemed to close in around you, suffocating you with their presence. Taehyung guided you towards the living room, his grip never faltering.

But as you crossed the threshold into his home, a wave of dizziness hit you like a ton of bricks.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung's voice broke through your foggy thoughts, filled with concern.

You managed a weak nod, trying to push through the overwhelming fatigue that threatened to consume you. The room spun around you, the walls closing in as you fought to stay conscious.

"Y/n, look at me," Taehyung's voice was urgent now, his hands cupping your face as he tried to steady you.

"I... I don't feel so well," you whispered, your words barely audible as darkness crept into the edges of your vision.

And then, everything went black.

----------------------------------

You slowly opened your eyes, your head throbbing with a dull ache. As your vision cleared, you saw Taehyung sitting beside you, his eyes filled with concern. His touch made you flinch, memories flooding back of how he had forced you into this marriage. The sight of him made your heart skip a beat, how he had manipulated you into this marriage.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung's voice was gentle, a stark contrast to his earlier actions.

Anger simmered beneath the surface as you pushed him away. "How dare you touch me after what you did?" you spat out, your voice laced with bitterness.

"I never meant to hurt you," Taehyung insisted, his voice filled with desperation.

"Please, Taehyung, just leave me alone," you pleaded, your voice barely above a whisper.

Taehyung's expression was a mix of hurt and confusion. "I know this is a lot to take in, but I... I did it because I love you," he said softly, his eyes searching yours for some sign of understanding.

Tears stung your eyes as you struggled to find the right words. "I need time, Taehyung. Time to process everything that's happened."

His face fell even further, as if your words had physically wounded him. Taehyung took a step closer, but you held up a hand, silently pleading for him to give you some space. He sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

Before he turned to leave, he whispered, "I'll give you all the time you need. Just know that I love you, and I'll do anything to make things right."

Tears welled up in your eyes as you watched him turn around and walk towards the door. It took every ounce of willpower to not run after him, to not throw your arms around him and beg him to stay. But you couldn't ignore the harsh reality of our situation.

Alone with your thoughts, you sank to the ground, the tears flowing freely now. Love and hurt intertwined within you, creating a storm of emotions that threatened to consume you.
