Taehyung strode into his office, his presence commanding attention as every employee stood frozen in their places. The atmosphere was tense, everyone on edge, fearful of angering the cold and short-tempered CEO.

"Good morning, everyone. I trust all is well," Taehyung's voice was as cool as ice as his gaze swept over the room. His eyes lingered on each employee, making them squirm under his scrutiny.

"Y-yes, sir. Everything's fine," one brave soul spoke up, the rest nodding in quick agreement.

"Good. Now, let's get down to business," Taehyung said, his tone brooking no argument. "I want updates on the latest projects. We can't afford any mistakes."

The employees exchanged nervous glances before one by one, they began to give their reports. The tension in the room only seemed to grow with each passing moment.

"I'm not pleased with the company's performance," Taehyung began, his voice cutting through the tense silence. "We need to do better, much better."

The employees nodded in unison, their faces reflecting a mix of fear and determination.

"I want each of you to work harder, to push yourselves to the limit. We have a standard of excellence to uphold, and I will accept nothing less," Taehyung concluded, his words hanging heavy in the air.

As the meeting adjourned, the employees dispersed, each lost in their thoughts about the daunting tasks that lay ahead.

As Taehyung sat in his cabin, the soft click of the door opening drew his attention. His secretary entered, head down, and delivered the news he dreaded to hear once again. "I'm sorry, sir, but we still don't have any new information about Y/n mam."

Taehyung's heart sank as he looked up, his eyes reflecting a mix of sadness and worry. "I see," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper

The secretary shifted uneasily, sensing the heaviness of the atmosphere. "Is there anything else I can do, sir?"

Taehyung shook his head slowly, his gaze drifting to the window overlooking the serene garden outside. "No, that will be all for now."

As the door closed behind the secretary, Taehyung was left alone with his thoughts. It had been three long years since Y/n had left without a word, leaving behind only a void in his heart and unanswered questions swirling in his mind.

He ran his fingers through his hair, frustration evident in his voice as he spoke aloud to himself. "Where are you, Y/n? Why did you leave like that?" His words echoed in the empty room, unanswered.

He stood up and walked over to a cabinet, pulling out an old photo of him and Y/n, smiling together in happier times. The ache in his chest deepened as memories flooded his mind. He whispered, "I miss you every day."

The memories of their time together flooded his mind, each one a bittersweet reminder of what once was. He missed her every day, her laughter, her kindness, her presence. The silence that now filled the space where she used to be was deafening.

With a heavy sigh, Taehyung leaned back in his chair, his eyes still fixed on the window. The sun was setting in the horizon, casting a warm glow over the garden, but he felt no warmth in his heart.

Lost in his thoughts, he whispered to the fading light, "I will find you, Y/n. No matter how long it takes, I will bring you back home."

"Hey, Taehyung! How have you been?" Jungkook greeted enthusiastically trying to hide his concern for his friend. He has returned from a business trip after a month.

"Just fine, Jungkook," Taehyung replied curtly.

Jungkook could see how much Y/n's absence had affected Taehyung. He knew Taehyung had become short-tempered and distant since she left.

As they sat down in the couch, Jungkook started the conversation, "You know, Taehyung, I've been thinking. Maybe it's time to let go and move on."

Taehyung's eyes flashed with irritation. "I don't need your advice, Jungkook. I'm fine on my own."

Jungkook sighed, knowing Taehyung was just putting up a front. "I understand that this is hard for you, Taehyung. But shutting people out won't make it easier."

Taehyung remained silent, staring out the window.

Jungkook persisted, "You can't keep pushing everyone away. You have friends who care about you, Taehyung."

Taehyung finally turned to look at Jungkook, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes. "I just miss her, Jungkook. More than anything."

Jungkook nodded, placing a comforting hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "I know, Taehyung. And it's okay to miss her. But you have to remember, you're not alone in this. We're here for you."

Just then the door creaked open once again, revealing Yoora. She entered with a warm smile, greeting both men.

"Hey, guys! I hope I'm not interrupting. I came to meet Jungkook," Yoora said, her voice gentle and concerned.

Taehyung's eyes flickered with surprise at Yoora's presence, knowing how much Jungkook cherished her. "No, no! You're not interrupting at all. It's nice to see you, Yoora."

Jungkook and Yoora made some small talk before deciding to leave Taehyung to his work.

As they walked out of the office cabin, Yoora couldn't help but notice the worried expression on Jungkook's face. "Are you okay, Kook? You seem lost in your thoughts," she asked, concerned for her boyfriend.

Jungkook glanced back at Taehyung's closed door, feeling a sense of helplessness. "I just wish there was something more we could do for Taehyung. He's been through so much," Jungkook confessed, his voice laced with worry.

Yoora placed a comforting hand on Jungkook's arm, offering him a reassuring smile. "Sometimes all we can do is be there for our friends, Kook. Taehyung knows he has you by his side, and that means a lot," she said softly.

"Jungkook, I need to tell you something important," she began, her voice tinged with concern.

Jungkook turned to look at her, his eyebrows furrowing. "What's wrong, Yoora?" he asked, his tone laced with curiosity.

"It's Jimin's birthday tomorrow," Yoora said softly, her eyes searching Jungkook's for any sign of understanding.

Jungkook let out a weary sigh and nodded, his mind wandering to the complicated dynamics within their friend group. He wished everything could go back to how it was before, especially between Jimin and Taehyung. The incident that caused a strain in their friendship three years ago seemed to have left an unbridgeable gap between them.

"Jungkook, I know you're worried about Taehyung and Jimin not talking to each other. It's been three years since their fight, and it's affecting everyone around them," Yoora said softly.

Jungkook looked at Yoora, his expression a mix of concern and frustration. "I miss the days when Taehyung and Jimin were inseparable. They were like brothers. I wish things could be different now."

Yoora nodded, understanding Jungkook's sentiments. "I know, Jungkook. But we can't change the past. Do you think we should talk to them about it?"

Jungkook thought for a moment before replying, "I don't know, Yoora. Maybe it's best if we let them figure things out on their own. We can support them from the sidelines."

"I wish things could go back to how they were," Jungkook murmured softly, more to himself than Yoora.

Yoora noticed the sadness in Jungkook's eyes and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I know, Jungkook. I wish the same thing. It's been three years since Jimin and Taehyung had that falling out, and they still haven't spoken to each other."

Jungkook frowned, his brows furrowed in deep thought. "I miss the days when they were the best of buddies. What happened that day really tore them apart."

Taehyung was deeply engrossed in his work when his diligent secretary walked into his office. He hesitated for a moment before speaking, "Mr. Kim, I need to request three days off next week for a personal matter."

Taehyung frowned slightly, clearly not pleased with the sudden request but knowing the importance of maintaining a good relationship with his employees, he nodded, "Alright. You can take the days off. Just make sure everything is in order before you leave."

As he turned to leave, she paused and handed Taehyung a beautifully embossed envelope. "Oh, by the way, Mr. Kim, I wanted to invite you to my brother's engagement party. It would mean a lot to me if you could make it."

Taehyung glanced at the invitation before looking up at him with a neutral expression. "I'll think about it," he replied, his tone professional yet distant.

He smiled warmly, understanding the unspoken complexities of her boss's response. "I hope to see you there, Mr. Kim. It's this Saturday at 7 pm."

After he left the room, Taehyung sat back in his chair, lost in thought. He had always kept his personal and professional life separate, preferring not to get involved in social events outside of work. However, there was something about his invitation that touched him.

{Flashback- Three Years Ago }

Taehyung and Jungkook sat across from each other in their small office, the neon sign of their company flickering in the background. After years of dreaming and studying, they had finally set up their own business. Taehyung leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair as he sighed heavily.

"This is harder than I thought, Jungkook," Taehyung admitted, looking over at his friend with a mix of determination and exhaustion in his eyes.

Jungkook nodded in agreement, his brow furrowed in concentration. "I know, but we can't give up now. We've come too far to turn back."

They both went back to work, pouring their heart and soul into their company. The late nights and early mornings became routine as they pushed through the challenges and setbacks that came their way.

One day, after a particularly grueling week, Taehyung slammed his laptop shut and let out a frustrated groan. "I don't know if I can do this anymore, Jungkook. It feels like we're not making any progress."

Jungkook turned to him, his expression serious. "Listen, Taehyung. We knew this wouldn't be easy. We have to keep pushing forward, no matter what. We can't give up now."

Taehyung nodded, a fire igniting in his eyes. "You're right. We started this together, and we'll see it through together. Let's show everyone what we're made of."

Taehyung poured his heart and soul into the company, working tirelessly day and night to turn their vision into a reality. Jungkook, always the strategic thinker, came up with innovative ideas to propel their company forward.

Their hard work began to pay off as their company gained momentum. Clients started to notice their dedication and passion, and word of mouth began to spread. Slowly but surely, their business started to grow.

Their perseverance paid off as slowly but steadily, their company began to gain traction. Long hours turned into fruitful outcomes, and the spark of success ignited their passion even further. Jungkook would often remark, "Taehyung, can you believe how far we've come? This is just the beginning."

Taehyung, nodding in agreement, would say, "I never imagined we would make it this far. But we're in this together, Jungkook. We can conquer anything."

Three years later, their company had not only survived but thrived. While they weren't the top company in the country, they had carved out a niche for themselves and were steadily climbing the ladder of success.
