Taehyung groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, the pounding in his head making him regret drinking from the previous night. He sat up, trying to recall how he ended up in this unfamiliar dorm room.
He scanned the room and it hit him - he had crashed here last night. He called out your name, but there was no response. Wincing at the bright light filtering through the window, he noticed a glass of lemon water on the table with a note beside it.
His eyes strained to focus on the note, and he slowly made out the words. "Drink it and take rest, I'm going to university. Y/n."
His heart skipped a beat as he remembered the events from the previous night. The confession he had made to you in a drunken haze. The vulnerability he had shown that he normally kept locked away. A faint smile tugged at his lips as he recalled the warmth in your eyes as you listened to him pour out his feelings.
As he sipped the refreshing lemon water, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a wave of embarrassment wash over him. He had never been one to hold back his emotions, but he hadn't expected to blurt out his feelings for you in such a drunken state. But seeing the note you left for him made his heart swell with affection.
He gathered his belongings and decided to head back to his own apartment. As he left your room, his mind was filled with thoughts of you and the conversation they had shared.
Once he reached his apartment, he settled down on the couch, replaying the events of the previous night in his mind. "I can't believe I did that," he muttered to himself, a mix of embarrassment and amusement evident in his tone.
-------------------------------
As you hurried to your university, your mind raced back to the moment Taehyung drunkenly confessed his feelings for you the night before. Your cheeks flushed at the memory as you walked, replaying the scene over and over in your head.
"I love you," Taehyung's words echoed in your mind, making your heart skip a beat.
You found yourself fanning your face, trying to cool down the blush that crept up on your cheeks. "Focus on the exam today," you muttered to yourself, shaking your head to clear the thoughts of Taehyung and his confession.
Lost in your thoughts, you almost bumped into a classmate who waved at you, snapping you out of your reverie. "Hey, are you okay? You look a little distracted," they asked, concern evident in their voice.
You forced a smile and nodded, "Yeah, just a lot on my mind. I'm trying to focus on the exam today."
Letting out a deep sigh, you made your way to the library, where Jungkook was already waiting for you.
You and Jungkook were sitting in the university library, textbooks spread out in front of you as you both prepared for your final exams. It was your last exam for the semester today, while Jungkook still had a week to go.
Jungkook, on the other hand, was more laid back, confident in his abilities and taking things one step at a time. He glanced over at you, a small smile playing on his lips. "Nervous?" he teased.
You shot him a playful glare, "Me? Nervous? Please, I've got this in the bag."
"I can't believe this semester is almost over," you said, flipping through your notes nervously.
"Yeah, it went by so fast," Jungkook replied, scratching his head. "I'm glad I have another week to study for my exams though."
You checked your phone for the umpteenth time, feeling a pang of worry when you noticed that Yoora hadn't shown up for the study session.
Jungkook noticed your concern and asked, "Hey, where's Yoora today? It's not like her to miss a study session, especially on the day of the exam."
You sighed, running a hand through your hair. "I don't know, she didn't even answer my calls. I hope everything is okay."
Jungkook furrowed his brow, clearly sharing your worry. "Maybe she overslept or something. I'm sure she'll show up soon."
As the clock ticked closer to the exam time, Yoora still hadn't shown up. You tried calling her one more time, but it went to voicemail.
"I don't understand. She wouldn't miss the exam, would she?" You asked Jungkook.
"I doubt it. Maybe something urgent came up. But don't worry, focus on your exam first."
You took a deep breath and walked into the exam hall, trying to push aside your worries about Yoora. Finally, as you were packing up your things to leave, your phone rang. It was Yoora.
"Hey, where have you been? I've been worried sick!" you blurted out as soon as you answered.
There was a pause on the other end before Yoora's voice came through, soft and hesitant. "I... I'm sorry. I've been dealing with some personal stuff. I didn't mean to worry you."
You let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding. "Just let us know next time, okay? We were so worried."
"I will. Thanks for checking in on me," Yoora replied, her voice sounding relieved.
You hung up the phone, feeling a weight lifted off your shoulders. Jungkook squeezed your shoulder in a supportive gesture.
"I'm glad she's okay," he said, a smile playing on his lips.

Jimin stormed into Taehyung's apartment without warning. His eyes blazed with anger as he marched straight up to Taehyung and delivered a swift punch to his face. Taehyung stumbled backward, landing on the floor with a thud.
"What the hell, Jimin?" Taehyung exclaimed, holding his face in pain.
"Why did you say no to the engagement with Yoora?" Jimin demanded, his voice low and dangerous.
Taehyung slowly got to his feet, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. He looked Jimin straight in the eyes and replied, "I can't marry her. I don't love her, Jimin. I can't destroy two lives just to fulfill some outdated tradition."
Jimin's expression hardened, his features a mask of sadness and coldness. "Two lives? What about Yoora's life? Do you even care about her feelings, Taehyung? You're being selfish."
Taehyung's voice remained steady, but there was a hint of sadness in his tone. "I care about Yoora, Jimin. I care enough not to trap her in a loveless marriage. And there's someone else... someone I love."
Jimin's anger intensified at Taehyung's words. He gritted his teeth and grabbed Taehyung by the collar, his voice low and cold. "You think you have the right to decide who you love and who you don't? Do you have any idea what this means for our family, for Yoora?"
Taehyung's expression remained stoic, his voice calm but resolute. "I can't force myself to love someone, Jimin. It wouldn't be fair to Yoora, and it wouldn't be fair to me. I have someone else in my heart, someone I can't betray."
Jimin's eyes flashed with rage. "Not fair? You think breaking my sister's heart is fair?"
Silence filled the room as the weight of Taehyung's words hung between them. Jimin's heart ached with betrayal and disappointment. He released Taehyung's collar and turned away, his voice barely above a whisper. "I thought you were better than this, Taehyung. I thought you understood what family means."
Taehyung sighed heavily as he watched Jimin leave the room, his shoulders slumped in defeat. He couldn't believe that a simple rejection for engagement with Yoora had led to all this mess.
"I never thought things would turn out like this," Taehyung muttered to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. As he tried to process everything that had just happened, he felt a pang of guilt in his chest. He had never meant to cause so much pain. He wished things could go back to how they were before all this drama unfolded.
He turned away from the window, unable to bear watching Jimin's departure any longer. Taehyung's thoughts were in disarray, his mind a whirlwind of emotions. He couldn't even bring himself to meet Y/n today, not with everything that had transpired.
He had been planning to propose to her officially today, to show her how much she meant to him. But now, with everything that had happened, he couldn't bring himself to do it. Not today, at least.
As Taehyung paced around the room, his thoughts were in turmoil. Why did love have to be so complicated? Why did it always seem like the universe was conspiring against him?
"Why did it have to turn out like this?" Taehyung lamented to himself, feeling the weight of the consequences of his actions.
As he paced back and forth in the empty room, his mind was filled with thoughts of what could have been. He had imagined a perfect future with Y/n by his side, but now everything seemed to be falling apart.
Taehyung's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts and emotions. He couldn't shake off the disappointment of not being able to see Y/n today, the one person who always brought him solace and joy. He wanted to make her his forever, but the timing couldn't have been worse.
He glanced at the ring box sitting on his dresser, the symbol of his undying love for Y/n. How could he possibly muster the courage to propose to her now, in the midst of all this chaos?
"I can't let this ruin everything," Taehyung whispered, clenching his fists in determination. "I have to find a way to fix this mess."
----------------------------
Taehyung paced back and forth in his living room, a deep frown etched on his face as he stared at his phone. He had to apologize to Yoora for how he had handled the marriage proposal. He knew he had hurt her, and he needed to set things right.
He dialed her number, his heart pounding with each passing ring. But after several rings, the call went to voicemail. He clenched his jaw in frustration and tried again. This time, the result was the same – no answer.
"Yoora, please pick up," he muttered under his breath, his frustration mounting with each unanswered call.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the call went to voicemail. Taehyung took a deep breath before leaving a message, his voice heavy with regret, "Yoora, it's Taehyung. I... I need to apologize. I never meant to hurt you. Can we please talk? Call me back when you get this."
Minutes turned into hours, yet there was no response from Yoora. Taehyung's mind was clouded with guilt and sorrow, knowing he had to face the consequences of his actions. Unable to contain his emotions any longer, he threw his phone across the room in a fit of anger, a mixture of regret and heartache gnawing at his conscience.
As the phone clattered to the ground, Taehyung slumped onto the couch, his thoughts consumed by the turmoil of his feelings. He knew he had to confront Yoora, to make amends and explain his decision. But for now, all he could do was wait, hoping that she would eventually return his call and give him a chance to right his wrongs.
Taehyung whispered to himself "I wish she knew how much I regret what I said. I wish she knew that I see her like a sister... but my heart belongs to someone else."
--------------------------------
You sighed happily as you walked out after giving the last exam for the semester. The weight of weeks of preparation and stress finally lifted off your shoulders. Grateful for the upcoming break, you take out your phone, hoping to see a text or call from Taehyung. To your disappointment, there were no notifications from him.
Your brows furrowed in concern. It was unlike Taehyung not to check-in, especially on a day like today. You decided to dial his number, but an automated voice informed you that his phone was switched off. Confusion mixed with worry crept into your mind. Was he okay? Why was his phone turned off?
"Hey Tae, it's me. Just checking in, give me a call when you can," you left a message, hoping he would get back to you soon. Shaking your head, you tried to brush off the unease that lingered in the back of your mind
The walk back to your dorm felt longer than usual, each step echoing with a sense of unease. As you reached your room, you dropped your bag on the floor and flopped onto your bed, staring at the ceiling. The silence enveloped you, broken only by the sound of your thoughts.
"I wish he was here with me," you whispered softly to yourself, the memory of the heartfelt confession the two of you had shared the night before still fresh in your mind. The vulnerability in Taehyung's eyes as he bared his feelings to you replayed in your head, making your heart swell with emotion.
Just when you were about to give up hope, your phone chimed with a new message notification. Your heart skipped a beat as you hurriedly unlocked the screen to read his reply. The message was short but filled with warmth and reassurance, promising to make up for the lost time and meet you as soon as possible.
"Hey, I'm sorry for being absent today. I promise I'll make it up to you soon. Love ya :)"
The words brought a smile to your face, easing your worries and filling your heart with warmth.
