Chapter 4: The First Test?

Recap

"Normally, yes. But whoever found me at the camp after my battle with Sasori, permanently removed those memories from my mind when they knocked me unconscious.

Brain Damage."

End of Recap

"So your mind has been permanently altered and you have no way of changing it? So you have no idea how to figure out who you're chasing?" Gaara asked me.

"Precisely. In all honesty, it started out as me chasing him but then the roles changed. He caught on and I became the hunted. Hence being brought to Kohana. Someone saved me. If it wasn't for that person I would probably be dead or in the midst of torture."

It was silent as we let those words float between us. We hadn't realized just how late it was until we saw the sun break the surface. It was now time for the first test.

"Good luck today. Hopefully, we both make it to the chunin level." I said as I began to climb back into my window. I made it into my room when I felt Gaara's presence behind me. I turned to look at him when suddenly I was enveloped in a hug.

"What is this for?" I asked him, returning the hug.

"You act as if you're unbothered by everything but I could tell you really needed this. I would know. At times, I need someone to hug me and tell me it's okay to be weak." His words brought tears to my eyes. No one had ever treated me this way.

"Thank you, Gaara." We pulled apart and went our separate ways, to prepare for the chunin exams.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I began my walk to the building where the chunin exams were being held. As I approached the building I could hear Naruto on the other side.
"Hey!!! Sakura-chan!!!"
" Yeah, good morning."
I was glad Sakura decided to participate in the chunin exams today. Although, she seems a little off. I looked over at Sasuke and could tell he was thinking the same thing. Putting it off as nerves, we went into the building. There seems to be some type of commotion going on in front of the door. There were two guys standing guard at the door.
"Hah!! You plan to take the chunin exam with that?! You should quit now." One of the boys at the door said.
"You're just a little kid." The other boy said.
"Yeah, yeah"
"Please, let us through," A girl, with space buns, said emerging from the crowd. I looked up to see if this was the correct room. Although the room number was 301, something still felt off. As soon as the girl had reached the door, one of the guards forcibly pushed her back.
"Horrible."
"What did you say? Listen, this is our kindness. The chunin exam isn't easy. Even we have failed it, three straight times. Those that take this exam and end up quitting as Shinobi's, those that died during the exam, we've seen it all." Everyone was silent and shocked by their words. "And chunins often become captains of military teams. The failure of a mission, the death of a comrade, that is all the captain's responsibility. Yet, kids like you think you can pass? We are just thinning out those that will fail anyway. What's wrong with that?"
"I agree, but you will let me pass through. And also remove this surrounding created with genjutsu. I'm going to the third floor." Sasuke said, surprising all of us.
"Ah, so you noticed."
"Sakura, you must have noticed first right?" She looked at him confused. "Your analytical ability and genjutsu know-how is the most improved on our team." Sakura soon caught on and began to play along.
"Of course, I noticed a while ago. Because this is the second floor."
"Yup!" Naruto agreed enthusiastically pretending to know what was going on. As soon he finished talking the genjutsu disappeared.
"Hmm Not bad, but all you did was see through it!!!" As soon as the spiky-haired guy stopped talking, he went in to attack Sasuke and Sasuke began to attack him. But before they could land a single hit on each other the little boy with the bowl cut from earlier was standing in between them holding both of their legs. It was definitely impressive considering how quickly he moved. Everyone stood there dumbstruck.
"Hey, what happened to the plan? You're the one who said we shouldn't draw attention to ourselves." It was Neji. But if he was here, that must mean the kid with the bowl cut and the girl with the two space buns were his teammates. The kid with the bowl cut was Rock Lee and the girl with the space buns with ten-ten.
"Rock Lee?" I said looking at the kid in the middle.
"Hitomi? Is it really you?"
"Wait, Hitomi, you know these people?"
"Yeah, I met them while they were out on the mission in Suna."
"We should definitely face-off sometime. I can tell you've improved and so have I." Lee spoke, excitement showing on his face.
"Deal. We'll face off the second we get a break from the chunin exams."
I was about ready to walk back up the stairs and go to the exam room when he rushed over to Sakura. "Hi, My name is Rock Lee. So yours is Sakura. Let's go out together!!!! I'll protect you till I die!!"
"No way. You're lame," Ow, that had to hurt.
"Good luck next time Lee," I said giving him an encouraging thumbs-up.
"Hey, you. What's your name?" Neji asked Sasuke whilst Naruto was getting a pissy look on his face.
"When you want to learn someone's name, you should give yours first."
"You're a rookie, right? How old are you?"
" I don't have to answer you."
Unknown POV
"Hehe. So those are Kakashi and Gai's prized pupils. I guess they passed this unofficial first test."
"Yeah, This exam is going to be fun for the examiners too."
Hitomi's POV
"Naruto, Sasuke- Kun, Hitomi-Chan!! let's go!!"
"I'll catch up. I'm waiting for someone." I said I waved to them as they ran off. I walked outside. I had been standing there for quite some time before deciding to head to the room. Maybe Gaara was already there. Kakashi was standing outside the door, so either my teammates were already inside or they haven't reached the room yet.
"Kakashi- sensei. Is everyone already in the room?"
"Not Yet. I know there was a question about a 4 member team so you're gonna have to do the test on your own."
"That's okay, I've got the experience. But I have a completely irrelevant question. Why did you erase my memory 3 years ago?" There was silence. I looked at him and he had a completely shocked look on his face.
"How do you remember that?"
"I don't know, I just do. Why didn't you let me catch him?"
"It wasn't time. You would've died. I was protecting you. But let's talk about this later. You have to get ready for the first test."
"Fine, but we are going to talk about this." I walked through the door and had all eyes on me. I quickly scanned the room and spotted Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari in the center of the room. Sending glares to the people still staring at me, I made my way to where they were standing.
"Well hello, Hitomi. Where is the rest of your team?" Kankuro asked me.
"Who knows, I figured they were already here. I was wrong. When did you guys get here? You never passed me downstairs."
"We teleported outside the door. We didn't want to run into anyone unpleasant on our way here." Temari answered.
"Well next time I'll join you. There were two kids playing tricks on everyone downstairs. It was quite annoying really. You're lucky you missed it."
"Most certainly, although I would have made quick work of them had I known they were causing you so much trouble," Gaara answered, a small smirk gracing his features. I couldn't help but smile back at him, glad to see the amazing progress he had made with Shukaku. His bloodlust was practically nonexistent. My train of thought was interrupted by the opening of the exam room door. I looked over and in walked my team.
"W-Wow," Naruto said, his face going from full confidence to full-on shock.
"What's this?" Sakura asked, her face morphing into fear. Sasuke sat there with his brooding expression as always. It was quiet while everyone surveyed the three kids that just walked through the door. I could practically see the gears in sakura's head-turning. The intense, quiet atmosphere was interrupted by a girl with long blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, save one piece in the front.
"Sasuke-Kun!!! You're Late!!! I haven't seen you for a while so I've been waiting in excitement." She shouted, jumping onto Sasuke's back.
"Get away from Sasuke-Kun!!! Ino Pig!!!" Sakura shouted her face going red.
"Why if it isn't Sakura. Big Ugly forehead as always." the girl, Ino I think, said back.
"What did you say!?!?" Sakura asked, fury evident on her face. All the Ino girl did was stick her tongue out at sakura. I rolled my eyes at their childish antics.
"You guys are taking this stupid test too? Don't die," A boy with pineapple hair had walked up to the commotion happening in the front of the room.
"Oh!! The idiot trio!!" Naruto insulted, probably dying to insult someone.
"Don't call us that!!" The pineapple boy said back. "Man, this sucks,"
Judging from his bored tone of voice, that was Nara Shikamaru. He was lazy as could be, and he always had something to complain about. Naruto referred to him as a Big Mouth Idiot. The boy standing next to Shikamaru was more than likely Akimichi Choji. I don't know much about him except that he always had something to eat. Naruto calls him a fatass idiot. That means the blonde, Ino, was Yamanaka Ino. She is always fighting with Sakura, her rival. Naruto calls her a Sasuke idiot, but she was really just a fangirl. This trio was Asuma's team. Team 10. As I was analyzing team 10, another group had walked up to the bunch. Leading the group was a boy with spiky hair and a dog sitting on top of it. A girl with murky eyes, like Neji's, they were probably related. Next to her was Shino, an old friend of mine. We both had a strange thing for bugs when we were younger. I outgrew it and he didn't. Which meant they were Kurenai's team. Team 8. First up is Inuzuka Kiba and his dog Akamaru. He is louder than Naruto. From what I gather he is quite annoying and bossy. The girl is Hyuga Hinata. She is Neji's cousin, I believe. She has a huge crush on Naruto, to which he is oblivious to. She is also the heir for the Hyuga line. Lastly is Aburame Shino. A good friend of mine. He doesn't talk much and bugs are precious to him.
"H-Hello," Hinata stuttered.
"Well well, everyone is assembled," Kiba announced.
"Geez, you guys too?" Shikamaru sighed.
"I see, All 9 of this year's rookie genin are taking the exam," Kiba observed, not seeing me standing in the center of the room.
"Actually, it's 10," I said, making myself known.
"Well, I'm surprised they let you participate this year," Kiba said.
"And why wouldn't they? I've years more experience than any of you. I'm prepared, are you?"
"We've done a lot of training. We won't lose to you. Besides, only teams of three are allowed to compete." Kiba shot back.
"I'm an exception. I was put through a test before being assigned to a team when I got here. I passed and they are allowing me to compete on my own."
He went silent after that, not knowing what to say. I pulled back into the crowd after some time of silence. Standing with Gaara and his team, I could see Kabuto approach the group showing them his cards on everyone here. Everyone but me.
Sakura's POV
Kabuto had walked up to us telling us to quiet down. I couldn't believe this was his seventh try at the chunin exams. He kept talking but I didn't really start to pay attention until he pulled out his Nin-info cards. He was telling us about them and even showed us how many people were taking the exam and where they were from.
"Do you have info on individuals?" Sasuke asked.
"Hehe, there are some guys you're worried about? Of course, the info on all of this exam's participants isn't perfect, but I do have it. Even you guys. Say something about these guys and I'll take a look." Kabuto answered.
"Gaara of the hidden sand, rock lee from the leaf, and Hitomi from the leaf."
"Oh, you already know their names, it should be easy then." Kabuto Quickly found the card holding them up, their hands facing us.
"Show me," Sasuke demanded
"Ok, first is Rock Lee. He's a year older than you guys. Mission history: D rank - 20 completed, C rank - 12 completed. His sensei is Gai, his taijutsu had greatly improved in this past year, the rest is nothing impressive. Last year he gained attention as a talented new genin but he did not participate in the exam. Like you guys, this is his First time. On his team are Hyuga Neji and Ten Ten. Next is Gaara of the desert. Mission history: C rank - 8, B rank - 1. Wow, a B rank mission as a genin, since he is a newcomer from a foreign country I don't have much info but it seems he returned from all of his missions without even a scratch."
"What about Hitomi?" I asked slightly afraid of what he might tell us.
"That's the thing. I have absolutely nothing on her. Her card is completely blank. The only thing it says is that she was a demon trainee" We were all shocked. We looked up at Hitomi from across the room. She was watching us. I'm not sure what was more unnerving: the fact that nobody had any information on her or that she trained with demons.
Hitomi's POV
They all looked up at me, shock evident on their faces. I don't know why they thought they would find something out about me. I was technically a rogue ninja. I didn't have a village so I didn't go on missions and nothing I did was documented. It was quite amusing seeing their reactions. When we made eye contact I simply smiled and waved. The more they talked the more nervous they got. It got to the point that even Naruto looked shaken up. Or so I thought. As Sakura was walking towards him, trying her best to comfort him, he stood tall pointing out a finger.
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto!!! I won't lose to you bastards!!!!" Of course, he would. He managed to attract the attention of everyone here. And not in a good way. After the initial shock passed, I turned back to Gaara and his siblings. We talked about anything and everything that had happened since we last saw each other, whilst some commotion at the front was happening. It was all jokes and laughs until the wall exploded and a voice rang through the explosion.
"Quiet down you worthless bastards!!!" The smoke cleared to reveal a man and multiple shinobis. "Thanks for waiting. I am Morino Ibiki, The examiner for the chunin selection exam's first test." He raised his hand pointing at the back. "Hidden sound guys, stop doing as you please before the exam. Do you want to fail already?" Everybody shuffled to find a seat quickly. I sat next to Kankuro.
"I apologize, This is our first time. We got a bit carried away," The ringleader of the hidden sound group said.
"Here's a good opportunity to say this. There will be no fighting without the permission of the examiner. Even if permission is granted, killing your opponents will not be tolerated. Those pigs that disobey me will be failed immediately. Do I make myself clear?" Ibiki said.
"Heh, this exam is sounding easy."
"We will now start the first test in the chunin exam. Instead of your current seating arrangements. You will pick one of these tabs and sit in the seat assigned to you. We will then hand out the exams." One of the shinobi held up a huge stack of paper. The room was filled with silence at the sound of paper on paper.
"WHAT!?!! A PAPER TEST?!!!?!!" Naruto exclaimed. He might actually fail. He sucks at paper tests. We all made our way to the front, forming a line. Naruto was at the front with me standing behind him. He picked up his tile. 51. He made his way to his seat, which was next to Hinata. I walked forward to pick my tile. 97. I turned and made my way to my seat. I was sitting solitary for some time until Gaara sat down next to me. After everyone was seated Ibiki began talking.
"Do not turn your tests over. Listen closely to what I'm about to say. There are many important rules to this first test. I'll write on the board while I explain, but questions will not be allowed, so listen carefully." Wow, he must really hate being interrupted. "The first rule. You guys will all start off with 10 points. I just made up of 10 questions and each one is worth a point but the test uses a subtractive system. Basically, if you answer all the questions correctly, you keep your 10 points. But say if you missed three questions you lose three points and we'll have seven. The second rule is, this is a team test. Whether you pass or not will be determined by the combined score of your teammates. So, each team will compete to see how many points they can hold on from the initial team total of 30."
"WAIT A SECOND!! I don't understand this initial point system either, but why is it a team test?" Sakura shot her arm up almost as soon as the words left his mouth. I simply rolled my eyes, annoyed with this already.
"Shut up, you don't have the right to question me. There's a reason for this, be quiet and listen. Okay, and now the most important rule. The third rule is that during the exam, anyone caught by the testing officers doing sneaky activities, mainly cheating will have 2 points subtracted for every offense. So there will be some who will lose all their points during the exam and be asked to leave."
"We'll have our eyes on you guys," One of the shinobi said, slouching on his chair, holding his clipboard on his knee.
"Realize that the pathetic ones that get caught cheating will be destroying themselves." That sentence seems oddly set up. Almost like he was saying to not get caught cheating. Maybe I'm reading to much onto his words. That must be it. "As Shinobis trying to achieve the level of chunin, be proud ninjas. In the final rule, those that lose all their initial points during the test and those that don't answer any questions correctly will be failed along with their two teammates." I could see my three teammates panicking. I stifled a laugh and leaned towards Garra.
"I guess it's a good thing I'm competing on my own. Naruto can't take a test to save his life." I whispered to Gaara, who cracked a smile at my words.
"The exam will last one hour. Ok. Begin!!" I flip over my test and slightly panicked. The numbers and letters from the exam were floating around the page. I struggled to focus. I stared at my paper until the words formed and the numbers found their place, though that did little to help. This test was super-advanced, I had not learned this yet, it seems no one has judging by the confused faces spread around the room. There was no way the examiner could expect genins to be able to pass this, there has to be an underlying solution.
I began to think back to everything Ibiki said. Then it hit me.
'Realize that the pathetic ones that get caught cheating...' I can't believe I never noticed. He said the ones that get caught cheating. He even called them pathetic. This test was made to test a ninja's ability to not get caught. We have to cheat without getting caught. Which means there must be someone who knows the answers to the test.
"How many teams will pass this test?" The sitting next to Sakura asked.
"It's not like knowing will help you or do you want to be disqualified?" The examiner answered.
Ignoring my growing panic for my team, I scanned the room looking for someone jotting down answers in a steady stream. He was sitting 2 rows ahead of me. But how to copy him. I closed my eyes and pulled myself into my mind.
'Harau, I'm in need of some assistance.'
'I'm aware. What do you want me to do?'
'I was thinking you could go into that guy's mind and let me see what he is seeing. I would, of course, take control of his body so he couldn't close his eyes or flip over his test. Therefore, I could get the answers without getting caught.'
'Deal, but stay alert. That guy is watching you.'
I looked over to the line of guards and made eye contact with the one sitting in front of my row. 3 rows ahead of me, one kid's test was pinned to the desk by a kunai.
"What was that for?!" He shouted standing up.
"You messed up 5 times. You Fail." The shinobi smirked.
"No, No way."
"The two on his team, get out of here. Right now." The three shinobi stood up and slowly made their way towards the door. "Hurry up and leave." The guard rushed them out the door following their path to close the door behind them.
I refocused my attention on my target. 'Kyuketsuki' I could see the boy's body tense up and gave Harau the signal to enter his mind. I closed my eyes waiting for Harau to open his mind's eye. I opened my eyes and saw the finished test in front of my eyes. Slightly pulling my mind from his, my test molded with his and I copied the answers. I pulled my mind from my target, I read the bottom question.
'This question will be revealed 45 minutes after the test begins. Listen to the examiner closely before answering.' What?
I glanced up at the clock. Only 30 minutes have passed. I flipped my test over to ensure no one would try to cheat off me.
"Number 102, stand up. You fail."
"No! Damn it!!"
"Number 23, You fail."
"No"
"43 and 27. You fail."
Numbers were being called out from every part of the room. 13 teams have failed so far. Some had been called out during my cheating session.
"Do you have any proof that I cheated 5 times?!!" Number 27 slammed his hands on the table and stood, facing the guard who called his number. "Are you guys watching at all... Ugh!!" He was cut off by the guard pinning him to the wall.
"Listen, among chunins we are the elite that were assembled to watch over this exam. We haven't missed anything you've done. You could say that this strength is our proof." The guard shot venom with every word he said. Everyone was shocked to silence.
Next to me, Garra had activated his sand eye and begun copying the answers. The silence was soon interrupted by Kankuro rising with his hand in the air.
"Excuse me."
"What is it?"
"Bathroom"
"We have to follow you to the bathroom." The guard cuffed Kankuro.
"I see," He and guard felt the room. What was Kankuro doing? They were getting ready to announce the last question.
My confusion remained until I noticed there were no missing guards in the room. Kankuro was using Karasu to cheat. That was the most ingenious cheating method I have ever seen. 45 minutes had passed since the beginning of the exam and Kankuro was nowhere to be found.
"Ok, we will now start the 10th question," Ibiki spoke up demanding everyone's attention. "Now, before we get to it I'd like to go over the added rules for this question."
WHAT?! More rules? As if we don't have enough.
The attention of the room was switched to Kankuro as he returned from the bathroom.
"Heh, Nice timing. Was your doll playing beneficial?" I was shocked that he had seen through Karasu so easily. Not even his guards had. "Just sit down. I'll now explain. These are the rules of Desperation." Wow, way to scare everybody. He must be an interrogator. He has great intimidation skills. "First, for this 10th question, you must decide whether you will take it or not."
"Choose?!! What happens if we choose not to?!" Temari seemed pretty stressed out by his words. I had never heard her raise her voice until now.
"If you choose not to, your points will be reduced to zero. You fail! Along with your two teammates."
"What does that mean?"
"Then of course we will decide to take the question!"
All the yelling happening in this room is starting to give me a headache.
'No that's just me ready to murderer the people who find it necessary to yell in such a small room.' Harau seemed increasingly aggravated with this test already. I was ready to get it over with.
"And now, the other rule." It can't be that bad, right? "If you choose to take it and answer incorrectly, that person will lose the right to take the chunin selection exam again." I was wrong. I was so wrong. That is the worst possible rule.
My eyes wandered to Naruto, whose face seemed to give away every emotion he was feeling. He was shocked, his body leaning forward as if he was unconscious. He was the most at risk for this question, if he decided not to take it, the team would fail. If he decided to take it and got it wrong, he would never become a chunin.
"What kind of stupid rule is that? There are guys here who have taken the exam before!" Kiba's outburst was accompanied by Akamaru's bark.
"You guys were unlucky. This year it's my rules, but I am giving you a way out. Those that aren't confident can choose not to take it and try again next year. Now, let's begin. The 10th question. Those that do not wish to take it, Raise your hand. Once your number is confirmed, leave." All was silent as everyone considered their options. I know Naruto would never choose his own personal gain over anyone else. He would stay, even if it cost him being the Hokage. The silence was interrupted as the person sitting next to Naruto raised his hand.
"I won't take it! I'm sorry Gennai, Inoho."
"Number 50, fail. 130, 111 also fail" The three genin stood and walked out the door.
"Damn it."
"Me, too"
"And me."
"Sorry guys."
"I quit."
"Me too."
Within seconds 6 other teams had been disqualified. From the corner of my eye, I saw Sakura begin to raise her hand. I was shocked. Sakura has always been super confident in her ability to test. She would never give up, she was too confident. Before her hand could raise any higher, she froze and her face flood with astonishment. I followed her line of sight to see Naruto raising his hand. His whole body was shaking. Before my mind could process Naurtos actions, he slammed his hand down onto the table.
"Don't underestimate me! I will not run! I'll take it even if I am a genin forever. I'll will myself to becoming Hokage anyway, so I don't care! I am not afraid!" Wow Naruto, just wow.
"I'll ask you again. Your life is riding on this decision. This is your last chance to quit."
"I follow my unbending words. That's my ninja way." Ah, Naruto and his ninja way. It's admirable. His words filled the other remaining testers with the hope of passing this test.
"Good decisions. Now to everyone still remaining... I congratulate you on passing the first test!!"
What?
"What... what do you mean? We already pass? What about the 10th question?" Sakura seemed to voice everyone's thoughts at that moment. A smile spread across Ibiki's face.
"There never was such a thing. Or you could say that those two choices were the 10th question."
"Hey, Then what were the first 9 questions for?! They were pointless then!!" Temari's face has contorted with anger as she spoke, realizing her worries and stress were for nothing.
"They were not pointless. They had already served their intended purpose. To test your individual information gathering ability. That purpose." The smile on his face never wavered. It was uncanny how easily he switches personalities.
"Information Gathering?" I question, speaking up for the first time.
"First, as the rules explained. Success on this test is based on the whole team doing well. This puts pressure on each team member not to mess things up for their teammates."
"I had a feeling this test was like that," Naruto spoke. I stifled the laugh that bubbled up at his comment, knowing he was super stressed the entire time.
"But the questions on this test were not the types genin could answer. Because of that, I'm sure most people came to the same conclusion, that to score points ill have to cheat. Basically, the premise of this test is to cheat. As cheating targets, we had two or so chunin who knew all the answers mixed into the group. To help you guys out." The boy I copied off of raised his hand in a wave.
"Haha, I saw right through that!! You'd have to be a moron to not notice that!!" Garra leaned towards me.
"Is he always like that?" I turned to look at Garra and nod my head.
"Yeah, he is."
"But those that cheat poorly fail, of course." Ibiki continued as if Narutos outburst never happened. He moved his hands behind his neck as if he were relaxing. His headband began to become loose, as he untied it. "Because at times, information is more important than life" He removed his headband completely to reveal the top of his head was burnt, with many holes and scars to accompany them. "And on missions and the battlefield, people risk their lives to get their hands on it." He returned his headband to his head and smiled as if nothing was wrong. "If the enemy or 3rd party notices you, there is no guarantee the info will be accurate. I want you to remember this. Important information in your hands can be a powerful weapon for your comrades and for the village, so we had you gather information through cheating. This clearly separated those that did not have the right abilities."
"But I don't' understand the final question." The confusion of the last question urged me to ask Ibiki.
"But question 10 is the true purpose of this test."
"What do you mean?" Sakura questioned.
"Let me explain. The 10th question. The 'take it' or 'not take it' decision. Obviously, these were painful choices. Those who take the latter fail along with their teammates. Those who chose to take it could lose the chance to take the test again. A true leap of faith. Now about these two choices. Say you guys become chunins. Your mission is to steal a secret document. The amount of ninjas, their abilities, etc. is unknown to you. And of course, there could be traps set all around you. Now, do you accept, or not accept? Because you don't want to die, because you don't want your comrades hurt, can you avoid this dangerous mission? The answer is No!! No matter what the danger, there are missions you can't avoid. The ability to be courageous and survive any hardship, this is the ability needed to become a chunin captain. Those who can't put their destinies on the line, who cling to the uncertain future of 'there is always next year' those pieces of trash who can only make such cowardly choices don't have the right to become chunin. That's how I feel. Those who choose to take it answered the 10th question correctly. You will be able to survive any troubles you face in the future. You made it through the entrance. The first test of the chunin selection exam is now finished. I wish you guys luck."
Ignoring Naruto's outburst I turned towards Garra and smiled.
"We made it."
