We love the music they put into the twilight movies. Paramore, muse, etc, are just plain awesome bands! The Harry Potter music is epic at times, but we just prefer music with meaningful lyrics. We are not really in to classical music.,

Speak for yourself! Personally, I find songs with lyrics in movies distracting, it takes away from whatever I am watching on the screen and any dialogue that is happening, for me anyway. I happen to like the classical background music and the soundtrack in hp is amazing! The music is riveting and very recognizable. Even if you haven't seen it, you would most likely recognize Hedwig's Theme.
