Twilight was a best selling novel, and has a bigger fan base than Harry Potter.

Well I have news for you but, SO WAS HARRY POTTER
And I...I just have to laugh at this idiocy. First of all, Harry Potter has one of the biggest fanbases complete with multiple theme parks. Secondly, this little link they've attached leads to a wiki page about best selling books. This is an excerpt copy and pasted from that page:

It goes on to actually list all of the best selling individual books, then series. All of the Harry Potter books are listed in individual books, The sorcerer's stone with 120 million in approximate sales, the rest of them with 65-77 million. Twilight is not listed. (Or at least I didn't see them when reading thru the list...)

Twilight comes in with 120 million in sales. Best selling? Sure, but better than Harry Potter? I think not.
(If you remember the first HP book sold 120 million alone...that's how much the entire franchise made for twilight...)
