Okay

Today I found out my aunt was diagnosed with dementia (a brain disease that makes you forgetful, kinda like Alzheimer's or amnesia, but the three diseases are different)

I also found out that this morning before school that my aunt went on a walk and didn't return

(This sort of thing is common for people with dementia, they go on a walk and forget where they're supposed to return. But this doesn't make it any less worrying)

Essentially my entire extended family except for my family and two of my uncle's families live in the same area, and I was even born in this area, so I will call it my Home State

My aunt with dementia also lived in my Home State, and basically r everyone in my Home State was searching for her.

I felt kind of bad because there was nothing my family could do. There's no way she would have e gotten all the way to us, so we couldn't help look

Fortunately, my aunt was found this afternoon

But honestly all day at school I couldn't really focus. I was really worried. You know?

What if they hadn't found her?

I just couldn't stop thinking things like that.

I'm so relieved that they found her.

And I'm just trying not to think about how likely it is for it to happen again

I'm really sorry if I don't seem really like myself today or for a little while

But I'm really drained so

And I'm also really sorry for the serious chapter

I'll try to be happier next time, okay?
