ant: Arrogant authors

Sometimes, I find authors that have around 200 fans plus 20,000 read and it's clear that all those reads have swelled their heads. Another thing I really hate is arrogant authors.

They get so mad when someone points out an error in their story and start a rant when someone points out a problem.

Helpful reader: 'Wow that was really good, but she mentions that she has green eyes when early in the story she says she has blue eyes.

Arrogant author: "Get off my story; I don't need haters like you, smart alek."

This is clearly a fan trying to help an author that has created a plot hole in their story; it's clear that the author is simply shell-shocked that it's not another comment say "Upload soon" and the author lashes back. Do you see where the arrogance is?

Another trait that makes people an arrogant author is when they don't even put a description on their story. Are you kidding me? How do expect you people to know what your story is about then? Why would someone be that stupid with the story? A description is a first impression for readers, it's very important. It's like making out with you've never met before, it feels incredibly wrong. It figuratively kills me when I see the story has 10,000+ reads.

 Another thing arrogant authors do is DELETE a book with no explanation or warning. I know I put a book on hold (which I will return to shortly) but I gave my fans a warning. These authors randomly delete their stories without warning or explanation. It's so frustrating especially if their book has votes I would kick a puppy for.

There are authors that don't even care about their grammar and spelling and they actually tell their readers up front. They literally say, "Don't bother telling me if I have grammar and spelling errors because I won't fix it." Are you kidding me? Grammar and spelling help people understand the writing. When you say you don't care for the grammar and spelling of your story, you are saying you don't people to understand your story.
