Why does music have to define who we are?? Like, whenever I tell people I like FOB or
P!ATD, they're like, oh, you must be emo, when, as much as I sometimes pretend to be as a joke, I'm not. I'm a bright happy person who tries to see the best in life, by apparently what my music taste is says differently.

Don't judge people on what music they like. I have a friend, and she is the sweetest girl ever. She's amazing and kind and funny and just all around awesome and I don't think she has a mean bone in her body. And guess what? She loves heavy metal music. So don't judge.

I mentioned this to a girl on my lacrosse team, and I said I didn't like telling people for exactly that reason, and she said, 'think how I feel. I'm a directioner.'

Why do we have to be shamed or put a label on things that we enjoy?? Why should people be afraid of liking something because of judgement?? That's stupid.

Like whatever you want and don't let what the f*ckhead idiots of the world say about it.
