So hahahahahaha summer band is hard

I'm this inexperienced Freshmen who's at least average for never having done it this seriously before, not to mention bad at holding an instrument for that long AND playing.

My section leader is arguably one of the best marchers in our band, and a nearly flawless player. 

It's a section of two. 

Not to mention we stand right next to each other in parade formation

oh gosh i'm always messing up XD

We had rehearsal last night and I maybe did one turn properly. Plus I'm always too far ahead or too far behind. At least I can keep in step. My problem last year during the mandatory homecoming stuff was always being out of step, but now I've only fallen out once or twice in the three practices we've had. Improvement?

I'm dreading push ups though. I can't even do them right and apparently that's the most popular way we get arm strength up to be able to hold our instruments throughout a whole parade. Some of the section leaders, mine included, have already teased about having to do them. 

This is also I guess my official announcement of inactivity. I won't be posting anything for a week or two due to Band Camp. I technically don't leave until June 6th, but I've got so much memorizing and finalizing to do, and two parades next weekend, that I'm gonna focus on my music. I gotta get better somehow, right? 

Expect me posting again around June 11th, with lots of pictures. :3

Also, one of our parades is going to be nationally televised. (United States only) I've seen a few people express interest in me giving the details, so if people seem interested, I'll definitely post somewhere when and what station. I won't be telling you which band we are, due to privacy, but I will tell that I am in one of the bands in this parade. :)

Anyways, yeah. 

TL;DR: I'm gonna be away from today until June 11th. You can still get a hold of me from now until June 6th in the afternoon, but I won't publish anything in books nor will I make any messages on my message board.
