Mairin's POV:
I sat there crying. Why does he think I'm a burden?! Am I really that annoying?!

I stood up. "Fine!" I said. "If he wants me to grow up and act more like a 'lady' then I'll show him!!"

Alain's POV:
It hurt. I didn't mean for her to get upset and cry! The truth is, I love her!! And I hate to see her cry!

I ran out of the battle stadium and went to find Mairin.

I ran around the corner when I ran into someone–or something.

"Sorry!" Me and the person said at the same time. Wait—that voice.....MAIRIN!!!

Sure enough, it was Mairin. "MAIRIN!!! IM SORRY!! DONT LEAVE ME LIKE THAT!!!! FORGET WHAT I SAID!! IM SORRY IM SO SORRY!!!!" I hugged her and buried my face into her shoulder and cried.

"A-A-Alain!" She blushed. I looked up. "I'm sorry" I said. She smiled that beautiful smile..... "I knew it somewhere....that you didn't mean it."

I sighed. "Don't change a thing about yourself, okay?" I said. She nodded "don't plan to!"

I chuckled. "So why did you want to find me?" She asked. "I-I......I" I stammered. "What?" She asked.

"I LOVE YOU!" I said and kissed her on the lips.

Mairin's POV:
I-I-Is A-A-Alain k-kissing m-me?!

A dream come true!

We let go, due to the lack of air. 

"W-W-Wow!" I said. "Sorry." Alain said, awkwardly. "N-N-No! It's fine!!" I blushed. And he blushed back.

"So.....we're cool?" Alain asked.

"Yep!" I said and hugged him.
