Today was probably the best day ever.

Why is that?, you may ask.

This is Fine Arts Fair weekend.

At the school I go to, sports are emphasized greatly. We have a choir and band, but they get less performances combined than the volleyball team alone has games.

So once a year, every year, a musical festival is held. About 20 schools come to the local High School, and we all have a big 'ol festival. This is the highlight of my school year.

At 8 in the morning, we had our choir performance, doing Seize the Day and a song from Annie.. Blue ribbon on that.

8:40 was band. Got a blue ribbon on that, like every year.

9:48 was my band solo. Got a blue ribbon there, AND I COULDNT BE MORE PROUD. I have been working on this solo for over a year now, and it's my first blue in solos ever.

10:06 was my choir solo, also blue. It was my first one, and I didn't expect it.

AND EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

I was walking out from my sister's flute solo, and then I saw two people talking down the hall.

Me- *Looks closer*

*They are my two best friends ever.*

Me- OUTTA THE WAY FOLKS. *Does a full sprint down the hall, French Horn, music stand in hand, wearing heeled boots and a skirt*

This is what happens when you only see your friends once a year.

And then... I went with one of my said friends to her cousin's wonderful solo. Then we lost our other friend.

So we start running around the school trying to find our friend. After making about 4 loops around, we decide to give up.

Us- *Walking through hallway*

My friend- I FOUND HIM.

Me- WHERE?

Us- *Peeks in a window totally not like a stalker.*

Friend- *Sees us stalking him*

So then we sit there outside of the room for a good half hour. I sat right in front of a door, and it opened. Go figure.

TODAY WAS SO FUN THO. AND TOMORROW THERE'S EVEN MORE TO DO. So yeah, life of a nerdy musician with no social life for you.
