(Trying to be calm) so you guys know my dog right he's a puppy

Well I was going to get smth from the car just now and my dad told me that my dog pooped in the house and apparently he "didn't hear me"(I know God damn well that his hearing is excellent) and when I got back in the house I hear my dog helping in pain to find my dad holding him upside down hitting him and he said " you better start punishing your dog or I will" and dude I wanted to yell at him I was getting smth from the fucking car! And
MY dog is still licking his but in pain I want to kill him so bad rn! I swear if he does that one more time I'm calling the police for animal abuse
