anygays, Im on eps 2, and Im sad that I relate to Diamond in a way

SPOILERS

OK, so, there are 2 things. Durability and hardness. Hardness is how strong they are, and durability is like, how impact runs through their body.

I'll be using binary pronouns for them, even though they are genderless, as they are gems

Dia has a hardness of 10, the maximum. But she aren't very durable. Bortz also has a hardness of 10, but is the most durable.

There are also 2 classes of diamonds, according to Diamond. There is the class that she's in, when she gets hit, it runs through her body. Bortz is the only gem in the other class. It's where, when she gets hit, it doesn't run through their body. It kind of sticks to one area; it's really hard to explain.

Anygays, something that Dia touches on during her conversations with Phos is that Bortz is always protecting her. She says "a weak diamond isn't a diamond at all", referring to her low durability.

Phos and her get attacked by Lunarians. She uses this technique, where she ends up swinging the pitchforks back at them. But whenever they hit her, Phos hears this really high pitched sound. Eventually, she throws her sword away when she realised there wasn't anything else to do. Bortz comes out of nowhere, stops the pitchforks from hitting her, and kills (?) the Lunarians. She walks up to Dia, and pulls off her glove (she wears long gloves) and her arm comes off with it. She isn't dead, they are gems, they break, but they can be repaired. If the lunarians don't steal the pieces

Bortz begins shouting at Dia, going on about how she left her to go try out her weird fighting technique. Bortz said that she'd told Dia not to do anything her body can't handle. Dia says that Bortz always protects her, and it's not right, saying that she's a diamond too. Then Dia tries explaining that, she feels weak as a diamond, and she doesn't really find a purpose to be here if she is weal and can't protect herself

Don't mind the quality of it

That hit me hard.

I admit to being a bit (a lot) of a baby. I'm extremely dependent on others, and I will get hurt by the slightest comment. But I don't want to be. I want to be stronger, and I want to depend on people less.
