This came to mind while I was waiting for Maxie to respond to me and I immediately had to do it. I am also a huge shipper of Veldig so yeah.

Velvet woke up suddenly, and shivered as she felt the cold air around her. "Hmm, Cactus is sound asleep, so is Tati, Joel can't understand me, hmm, Maybe Modig could talk to me?" The Fairy Fawn thought aloud. Velvet has smooth, luxurious red fur, with snow white spots on her back, and a snow white patch that ran from the base of her neck all the way to the tip of her tail, covering her stomach, she had silver eyes, and copper hooves, her small wings shown with a golden hue in sunlight. She carefully made her way towards where Modig usually slept. "Modig? Are you awake?" She asked when she got to the room, talking softly with her childish voice. "Velvet?" She heard coming from in front of her. "It's me, I had a nightmare, but both Cactus and Tati are sound asleep. Is it ok if I stay in here with you?" She asked timidly, she was about the size of a fawn, or a baby deer, a little on the small side, but still average for a fairy fawn. Modig was a little bit bigger, and had warm golden fur with bronze hooves, his spots and underside where silver, and poking out of his head were two bumps of bone that shown silver as well, his wings shown copper, and his eyes were the color of liquid copper. His voice sorta sounded like Steven's from Steven universe. "Of course Velvet. Why don't you come sleep by me?" "Ok Modig." Velvet said laying down right next to the other Fairy Fawn, their sides were right up against each other.

Cactus was clinging to Kolo, refusing to let go. "Cactus let go! I want to go find something to eat!" Kolo complained, trying unsuccessfully to shove the dragon off of him. Cactus clung on despite his protests. "But it's coold and you're so waaaarrrmmmm." She said, just clinging onto the koala even more tightly. Kolo sat down, giving up on trying to move the SandWing and just letting her cuddle him. He wasn't really one for touching, but apparently, Larry had been chasing a fly and 'accidentally' turn the thermostat all the way down to 40°. Kolo had gotten cold and had decided to sleep with Cactus, since, being a SandWing, she radiated heat. Tatiana and Joel couldn't keep in their laughter at Kolo's predicament. Kolo sighed. "Can we at least get something to eat? I'm starved." Cactus shook her head. "I'm not hungry yet." Kolo looked at Cactus lie she was crazy. "How are you not starving?" Cactus rolled her eyes as she responded. "Well, SandWings live in the desert, so, we tend to be light eaters." Kolo sighed and put one arm around Cactus's neck before giving her a noogie. "Hey!" Cactus said in protest, trying to move her head out of Kolo's grasp, she might have been able to do it too if it hadn't of been for her horns. She was standing up now, fully awake. Kolo gave her one more noogie despite her squawks of protest before swinging around on her neck to sit on her back. Right as they walked through one of the rooms, they saw Velvet and Modig, sleeping right beside each other, Velvet had her head and neck on Modig's back and Modig had his head and neck on Velvet's back.
