Morph

It is my headcannon that in the Pokémon world, Pokémon of two different species can have three different kinds of offspring if their evolution lines aren't similar.
Type 1.
The same Pokémon as the mother.
This is the most common type of cross-species children. In most cases the child is the same type of Pokémon as their mother, and progresses normally.
Type 2.
The same Pokémon as the father.
While this is more uncommon than a Pokémon of the mother's species, it happens quite often. As with type 1 offspring the child progresses normally through its life.
Type 3.
A fusion of both parents.
This is the most uncommon type of offspring, and is nearly unheard of due to its rarity. Some parings are more prone to something like this than others, especially if the two Pokémon managed to have a child despite not being in the same egg group. Children born of this egg group are usually only a perfect mix if the two parents have the same amount of evolutionary stages, and some trainers purposely try to breed them. However, if the parents have a different number of evolutionary stages the child will be closer to one parent's species than the other. This is especially hard to breed/have when the Pokémon are extremely similar in height, weight, body shape, and type. Although it does exist, few trainers are lucky enough to see one as complications with this type of Pokémon are very common. They are vulnerable to having weak egg shells, sometimes causing the egg to crack before hatching, to still births, to not surviving the hatching process, to developmental problems such as dying while evolving, dying shortly after evolution, and birth defects. Most breeders do not even try to breed them, but those who do take extreme caution. There are often a lot less complications if the two parent Pokémon are similar in body structure and size. For example,  a Zebstrika-Rapidash cross would have much less complications than a Sawsbuck-Garados cross.
Wow that sounds like it came from a textbook. Or an encyclopedia. Anyway, yes, this all came from my headcannon. The main reason for explaining that? Because a few of my Pokémon are actually fusions. They have yet to be introduced. No, they do not actually exist in the manga, anime, or games, although it would be cool af if they did. Yeah. Note: any fusion Pokémon I mention are not actually owned by me.

This is the fusion I wanted Maxie to see, her name is Striker and she is often referred to as Strike. I found her when I was traveling Unova and the poor thing was so lonely, she was also abandoned by her parents. I too her in. I got the pic off the internet because I didn't what to deform her by drawing. So yeah. She's about to be mentioned in the RP.
