I use Tumblr and Pinterest (mainly Pinterest) so I see a lot of writing prompts and headcannons. I write a lot using writing prompts, but I don't with headcannons.

I'm fine with writing prompts because I know they're free for anybody to use, but I don't like using headcannons in my writing. It feels like plagiarism, even though I would give credit.

The headcannons are really cool too.

1. When Anne goes to Gilbert's house to give him his school books, his dad answers the door instead and says he's heard a lot about Anne. Because Gilbert's dad is sick and house bound, the only way he could have found out about Anne is if Gilbert talked about Anne all the time.

This honestly seems like it could be canon. It makes sense too, because Gilbert will not stop talking about Anne to Bash. It makes me ship Shirbert even harder. It's sad that season 3 won't be coming out until late this year.

Harry Potter

1. Hedwig pecking the Dursleys until they gave Harry something for Christmas, no matter how big it was.

I accept this as canon.

2. Ron sending a letter to Molly asking if she could make Harry a Christmas jumper, because he's never had a proper present.

I love this one as well!
