Exams - Day 1

Well, today was interesting.

Maths was pretty good, but I wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out why my equation was wrong. I forgot to change a minus to a plus. Yeah. I had 45 minutes at the end as well, and the exam lasted 2 hours.

Story - Someone farted really loudly when the papers were being collected in, and the teacher was silent for a minute before saying 'better out than in'. It was really funny.

I thought Chemystery would be a train wreck, but because I spent nearly six hours revising it last night I found it quite easy. Yay!

Some second years messed up the seating plan completely. We had to sit in alternating rows of second and third years so that cheating was harder. But when the teacher called out who was sitting where, that's when things went wrong. A girl in my year called Sophia was meant to sit behind me. But the Sophia in second year sat down behind me and ruined everything else. We were the second row of six, so when the teacher for the middle section came in, twenty people had to move because she wasn't paying attention.

Geography was a train wreck. We had a multiple choice bit at the start worth 12 marks (out of 140 but still) so I thought the exam would be easy. Nope. Waffling is a truly useful skill.

Tomorrow I have history, physics and Spanish. They should all be fine, but I need to memorise my Spanish essay and revise certain topics in the other two.

An OK start to exams apart from train wreck geography.
