Yep another overwhelming rant

I was meant to post this a whiilllee ago, but life gets in the way (procrastination)

Well at least I don't do these kind of stuff all the time

So here we go

And I apologize in advance if you might feel offended or that I'm trying to make you feel bad

No I'm not

Don't worry

I just wanted to share what I felt to everyone

Holy crap this will be long.. I hope y'all stick around for this

*sigh* okay let's start off with the most important thing I want to talk about.

But first, I wanna get things straight:

I am not calling anyone out.

I'm not trying to start an argument.

And I'm not accusing anyone.

So please, keep that in mind, thanks guys

*deeeeeep sigh*

Lately I've come across.... accounts of other Wattpad users. I'm not saying they're inappropriate or offensive.

But I've seen and heard a lot of accounts seem to be copying my friend's.

And I'm kinda getting tired of seeing this.

My friends put in through a lot of effort and hard work into creating those characters.

And those are their own characters.

I know, I get that people don't know if they created a character that is similar to someone else's, it's understandable

But when they start copying the names. Their descriptions. Lives. Background story.

That's when things get tough.

And that's when I get pissed.

And I hate getting pissed over something so stupid

*takes a breath*

My friends have their concerns too and I also am uneasy

I've been really stressed about this lately

When someone claims they "own" the character or whatever background they have, is stupid

They are other people, before them, who made those characters with their own time. Own creativity. And own ideas.

I'm not going to call anyone out for this but my friend showed me this user's bio

Honestly, that beginning text is pretty rude. You didn't have to tell someone that you didn't care in that way.

If you're trying to make friends and gain followers, you should change your act and make yourself seem more welcoming

You can't make yourself be the Volpina

That character belongs to the Miraculous Show

I understand that people like the character Volpina and take her on as their OC

My friend is also Volpina

But when they start assuming that they are, I quote, "pretending to be Lila."

Is one of the most stupidest things ever

Just accept that they're other Volpina's on Wattpad

Don't make yourself seem higher and better than all the rest

Because, honey, judging by your attitude and bio, you're no better than all the other people here who worked so hard and put so much effort into making their character

Please take in the consideration of LOOKING or at least CHECKING that you don't have the same OC as someone else

Thats what I did with my Panda OC

And it didn't show that anyone made one or drew theirs out

Seriously, I'm gonna get really mad if I find more of these people who copy purposely

I have no intention in starting an argument or creating drama

I'm only speaking my opinion and what I feel

I really dont want to see so much hate in the comments

And I don't want to be more stressed than I actually am

I'm sorry for all of this...

I only write these kind of chapters when I really need to or when something happened and I need to tell people

I must sound like an annoying little kid complaining and I'm sorry

I am just really defensive of my friends and I don't want them to feel uncomfortable

So please, remember that their characters belong to them

If you don't know what characters in talking about then go back to my past chapters and look for the one that says

Drawing for my friends

I appreciate it for all those people who actually read the whole thing and didn't skim through
