It's about a place called Oston. Oston is a few miles above the old land that has now been abandoned. When someone in Oston doesn't learn how to use their powers properly they are marked 'Forgotten' and sent down to the old land. Rhyde couldn't fly so he was deemed useless and sent down to die.
