Jungkook went into sudden heat because the omega so badly wants an alpha. He wants his alpha. Clearly, Seokjin isn't his. But clearly, the omega that was pitching a horny fit for the past week was convinced otherwise.

He wouldn't have gone into heat— he usually doesn't— if Seokjin wasn't there.

But the suppressant wasn't enough and Jungkook was embarrassed, humiliated, and rejected all at the same time of hoping maybe the alpha would finally cave in.

But he didn't.

The omega cried and begged into his nest for days. Though he was thankful for Namjoon making sure he ate and took care of himself, he didn't want it to be Namjoon.

It's selfish to want Seokjin and selfish to beg, especially considering Seokjin hardly seems to care in that way— but that was the problem.

It's no wonder why the omega was so upset throughout his heat.

He'd been rejected.

But now that Seokjin is home, he's done so much that Jungkook can't understand why he didn't stay in the first place; making sure he's okay, getting him fuzzy socks to make sure his feet are warm, cooking him food, giving off his rainy scent to try and comfort the omega.

He can't understand the wolf.

Why can't he just see that Jungkook wants him? Why is he so oblivious? Why can't he stop being everything that Jungkook wants and more?

He's not good for the pup's poor heart.
