Tooth
Tooth watched his mate with worried eyes,his voice held authority as he commanded Jake and Luke to get Austin on his back. Con cried out," AUSTIN!" Tooth said," Get him to the pack doctor!" Kiddo looked at Austin and cried after he said,near Ms.Susan," I..I should have stayed with Austin...I could have helped him..Now He's hurt." The other wolves looked at the kid and all thought," He was the one that protected the orphans? when they said that they ran from the forest as rogue wolves were surrounding them.?" Austin was taken to a bed where the doctor was. He had to rip off Austin's shirt to see if he had any injuries there;which earned a glare from Tooth when the nurse's eyes were checking him out.The doctor noticing this and had the nurse get out. After looking for any injures,the doctor found that he had a giant bite mark on his left arm, bruises on his knuckles and some bite marks on his ankles. The doctor stitched up the multiple deep bite marks on his ankles,wrapped the giant bite mark,it not being in that deep,and putting ointment on his knuckles before putting on more bandage. Tooth watched his mate get patched up by the doctor. The doctor said," You can take him to his room,but don't let him walk by himself...those rogues must have tried dragging him when he resisted to give up fighting them." Tooth watched as Austin jumped up from his bed saying," Rogues...The kids," then tripping down,what would have been the ground had not Tooth caught him. Tooth said," Easy..Austin..Easy. The rogues are gone and the orphans are safe. You need to lie back down,you got injured quite badly from your ankles." Austin said,looking up at Tooth with a faint smile,"
No wonder,I look like a mummy.." Tooth chuckled at that,then put Austin back into bed. As he was about to retreat from having put him down the door opened and Duncan stood there,and asked," What's going on here?" Tooth said," Austin feel out of bed,or more like got out of bed then fell,I put him back..What do you need Duncan? Austin has already had a rough day.." Austin was surprised,he usually was never defended. Austin looked at Duncan with a confused one as Duncan shot him a confused one,as if asking What just happened? and Austin replying, I have no idea or I'm just as confused as you. Duncan said," I need to talk to Austin about what happened today..." Tooth looked at Duncan,hiding a scold as he left the room. After Duncan left the room,Tooth had dinner for Austin,that Con made. Tooth said,as he entered the room," Con made some dinner for you." Austin gave a light smile,and said," Thanks." Tooth said," So,What was that all about?" Austin said,confused," Your Duncan's Spy..So he could tell you that." Tooth said," Right." I need to be more careful..Austin already thinks that I'm Duncan's spy. I am too scared ,too much of a coward to say he's my mate or to mate him..If he found out then what would he say? Would he be scared off? Austin said,while eating," Shouldn't you go and eat at the dinner table?" Tooth said," I already ate." Austin nodded and continued eating. While he was eating,Tooth noticed a little notebook. Austin said," Don't touch that!" Tooth said,backing away from the notebook on the desk," Ok..Goodnight Austin.." Austin said," Goodnight." Tooth then left to his room. Austin and Tooth didn't sleep that night. Tooth after looking at the time to see that it was 12:00 pm he went to Austin's room,Austin was still up,though looked really tired,and afraid. Tooth said," You should be asleep." Austin said,after yawning," So should you." Tooth said,a half truth,"I am usually weary after a rogue attack." Austin said," I can't fall asleep.." Why can't you sleep? I mean everyone is usually able to sleep,then again he did get attacked..Is he afraid,someone will attack him in his sleep? Tooth said," Nightmares?" Austin said,reluctantly," Yeah..."

Austin
Austin didn't want to sound weak but..he was having nightmares. Tooth said," Do you want to talk about it?" How could I? He wouldn't understand.. Austin said," No..I'm good with just staying up tonight.." Tooth said," Then I'll join you." Is this it..? Is this when he betrays me then I wake up? From being betrayed by Augustus, going through so much torment by the witch...Why do I see him as an ally, a person to go to,instead of an enemy like I should? His allies and friends captured mine.. Austin was cut out of his thoughts when he noticed that Tooth made it beside his bed and gently petted Austin,as he flinched. Tooth said," Has nobody ever petted your head before?" Austin said," Nobody does that. Not people under the command of the witch.." Tooth said,"You don't have to tell me.."

Tooth
Austin looked really tired,and Tooth was compelled to have him sleep. He followed what his wolf wanted to do. He wrapped him in his arms,only getting a whispered question from Austin,as he fell asleep,"Tooth?" Soon after Tooth joined him in sleep,only for the next day to come. Jake opened the door to Tooth's room,to find nobody there. Jake then went and asked if anyone saw Tooth today. Susan said," I was going to ask about how Austin was doing,I bet the poor boy's still sleeping. The kids made him some cookies.." Jake said," I'll check." Jake then opened the door to find Tooth and Austin still asleep. They looked like such a good yet odd pair. Jake went to Tooth and shook him a bit,waking up the sleeping Austin,and Tooth. They both didn't seem to know he was there as Tooth said," Shhh...Go back to sleep." Austin complied.
