So.............seems that i finished talking about the main problems which makes the character very poor and dumb and honestly, i thought that it was over and there was literally no hope for Gorefield to be glorious again. The all Gameboy video was a fucking mess and a terrible experience for Gorefield and it seems that the character was pretty much ruined.........................................until i discovered two videos and they gave hope to the all meaning of ImSorryJon

You need to watch them

In both videos. Garfield isn't trying to kill Jon nor torture him. In the first one, he protects him from burglars and on the second video, he saves Odie from an abusive owner and gives him to Jon. This was actually new and a different take on the character itself. Then it all made sense. The true meaning of ImSorryJon. Garfield isn't sorry for Jon because he's going to kill him (because that fucking makes sense) instead he's sorry because of what he must do to protect him, because of his actions to keep him safe and as well as save Odie to give him a better life. The depiction of Garfield is much better, we have a Garfield who despite being a monster, he deeply cares for his owner as well as Odie. Although his actions were wrong, that's all he could have done to protect his family. Honestly, all of this could have been Gorefield but instead we just got nonsense and a freaking cliché creepypasta character
