Chapter 3

Levys POV
The day had finally come to an end and I couldn't be happier.

"Today was so tiring," I sighed as I walked out of the school gates with Lu-chan.

"Tell me about it, I didn't even get a full meal!" She complained as she slumped down, her stomach giving off a slight grumble.

"Oh Lu-chan, why do you let him eat your food?" I questioned my best friends, watching her stand up straight.

"Cause I know he doesn't eat anything nutritious unless I'm about to eat it," she smiled at me before looking ahead.

"You really care about him-" I began as I pulled out a bento box from my bag, "ever since he saved you from your father, how could you not?" I handed her the box with a smile, her eyes lighting up.

"Thanks Levy!" She exclaimed before grabbing the box and digging in. We continued to walk to the dorms in silence, taking in the fresh air I took a deep breath and smiled.

"Hey, I think I might be able to do this tutoring after all," I smiled as we arrived at the dorm gates, a warning sign in the centre of the gate stating that there is no boys allowed past this point.

"I think you will be fine, you're stronger then you look." She sweat dropped as she remembers THAT time. I giggled as we opened the door to our shared dorm, a shock on both our faces when we see it trashed.

"Nats-" Lu-chan began to yell until a hand wrapped around her mouth, another around her waist.

"Shhh, Erza will catch me," he shushed as he began to slowly let her go.

"Do you think that maybe that's why you shouldn't come in here?!" She whisper shouted back at him with an exhausted look in her eyes. I looked around to see all the food wrappers and empty bowls on the flood and sighed at Lu's expensive hero.

"I'll go to the shops to restock the fridge." I rolled my eyes before dropping my bag, turning around and walking out to the front of the gate once more, a small smile on my lips.

"Careful it's getting dark!" I heard Lu-chan yelling after me, causing me to just wave it off, Natsu shouting about getting him some fish for Happy which I know would have ended in a slap from Lu.

Gajeels POV
I wondered around the city lost in thought, not knowing where I'll end up.

"This is so stupid," I looked down at the book in my bag and sighed, remembering her face when she gave it to me, the feel of her lips, her soft cheek. Gah! What the hell! I began scratching my head and shaking the thought away. I look up to the sky to see the sun starting to set causing me to turn back to the dorms knowing that I can't miss curfew again.

"Leave me alone," I heard a small familiar voice say quietly causing me to stop.

"Levy?" I questioned looking around for the small girl.

"Oh come on," I follow the voice, "you know you'll love it," at those words my pace quickened.

"Leave some of the fun for me," another voice intervened as I looked around once more.

"You know, you shouldn't push a girl to do things she doesn't want to," I heard Levy reply. I finally saw her; two assholes had cornered her behind a grocery shop. Just before I could go to beat their asses I saw Levy smirk before crouching into a fight position.

"What is she?" I questioned out loud as the guys just stood there, laughing at the small girl.

"Ooo so scary, what is a pipsqueak like you gonna-" before he could finish his sentence she slammed a fist into the side of his face knocking him out cold.

"You little bitch!" His friend said before charging in. I wanted to help her but I think he's the one that needed help. He swung at her but she was too quick, she slumped down causing him to slightly trip before she gave him an upper cut. I watched as the man fell to the floor, I cringed when my eyes averted to Levy, who just picked up a bag of rub and threw it into the bin.

"Stupid jerks," she said before grabbing  their collars and trying to pull them to the wall, sitting them up as she started to clean their wounds. "You having fun watching?" She suddenly asks once she was finished causing me to snap back into reality.

"Uh?" Was all I could say before she stood up and walked over to me, two bags of groceries in her hands. Just as she reached me she stopped and looked up at me.

"You better finish that book my tomorrow lunch," she said before continuing on, "I'll be in the library." Who is this girl?

Hey guys!
So yeah Levy's a badass and Natsu's a piggy!!! I wanted to portray Levy as an independent women cause I think there are too many stories where Gajeel would have saved her to protect her, I thought it was that would be to cliche and if you've read some of my past books you'll know I'm a bit odd.

Anyway tell me what you think!!! Love you all my butterfrees XxX
