My Private place

For that peace I wish to find

I retreat to a place within my mind

set aside for dreaming of what might be

away from life's inconstancy

A place where flowers always bloom

wide open spaces, lots of room

where nature is present and at its best

delivering solace at my behest

It's here my thoughts can run amok

observations and ideas come unstuck

with simple clarity once again

in this private place where
