READER'S POV

It was another boring day in school but my English teacher was impressed with my homework assignment, no big deal especially since it's about a book that I was asked to read. I looked at my grade report and it was straight As. I smirked at it and then the teacher said to me.

"Well done, Miss (L/n), keep up the good work."

"Thank you, sir."

I said with a smile. After school ended, I got back home and I got changed into my casual wear which was a (F/n) hoodie, (F/c) T-shirt, skinny jeans and black converse shoes. I decided to take a walk for a while before dinner. I walked through the streets for a while lost in my thoughts until I saw the bullies from my class. Becky, the leader of the gang, smirked at me and she said to me.

"Hey look, it's the loner."

"Oh great, what do you want Becky?"

"We wanna hang out with you, freak."

"Not today, I wanna be left alone."

"Oh, that's not very nice, aren't you gonna take us back to your place?"

Becky said as she and her gang came closer to me. I knew what was gonna happen if I did hang out with them again, so I made a run for it. Becky and her gang chased me through the streets and I knew I had to lose them somehow. I decided to lose them in the forest since they didn't know any of the good hiding places like I do. I hid behind a tree and I listened to Becky and her gang ran in a random direction. I smirked a little and I thought to myself.

'Ha! losers, you can't outrun this fox.'

I stepped out from my hiding place and I checked my surroundings to make sure they were gone and thankfully, Becky and her friends weren't around. I noticed the large lake and I walked towards it. I stared at the horizon as I remembered the last time I was here with my parents. I saw my six-year-old self playing in the water with dad while mum sat by the shore watching us with a smile on her face.

'Every time I come here I always feel something off about this place but, I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing.'

I thought to myself as the gentle breeze blew against the trees and against the ripples of the lake. Suddenly, I heard Becky and her buddies shouting for me. I made a run for it before they could catch me again. I ran and ran as fast as I could but then, I saw some old ruins that I was told to never go near when I was little. I looked over my shoulder and I heard Becky shouting.

"You can run but you can't hide loser!"

I looked back at the ruins and I decided to hide there. I ran to the ruined temple and the doors were stuck but, I managed to shove them open. I closed the door behind me and I panted in exhaustion. I looked around and the inside was cracked and there were shrubs growing near the walls. I didn't know what this place used to be like before it became like this but, it was still amazing to look at. I walked towards the centre of the room and I wondered what this large circle was used for. I looked at the wall carvings and they looked as if they were telling a story but, I couldn't understand what the language was, might have been ancient Latin.

I looked back at the circle and then I stepped on something and I heard something moving. I jumped in fright and then the floor in the middle of the circle split open revealing some kind of dark red orb. I was surprised by this and I took a closer look at it.

"What is this?"

I asked myself before I gently ran my fingers over the orb until there was a glow coming from it. I took a step back and then a bright light suddenly appeared making me cover my eyes. I opened my eyes and the light had died down. I looked around and I noticed something looked different. The temple that had once fallen into ruin looked as good as new. Suddenly, I heard someone coming so I hid behind a couple of benches before anyone saw me. I saw a tall man and I recognised him immediately.

'Wait...isn't that Ganondorf? I thought he was a made up character, how is he real?'

I asked myself as I watched what was going on.

3RD PERSON POV

Ganon looked at the orb and then Vaati said to him.

"See my lord, I told you, the orb started acting oddly for some reason."

"I see, but nothing doesn't seem to be wrong here, everything looks normal to me."

Ganon said as he looked around the room.

"Investigate what's been going on with this orb and double the guards around here, the Hero mustn't find out about this orb."

"Yes my Lord."

Vaati said before he and Ganon left the room. Once they were gone, (Y/n) came out of her hiding place and she was shocked when she saw Ganon and Vaati.

'This had got to be a dream, there's no way Vaati and Ganon can be here, right?'

(Y/n) pinched her cheek and that confirmed that she wasn't dreaming. (Y/n) didn't know what was going on and then she sat down at one of the benches and she had trouble getting her head around what had just happened.

'OK, stay calm (Y/n), the moment you touched that orb that bright light somehow sent you to a...realm? a dimension of the world of Legend of Zelda characters? or whatever the hell you call this place! I gotta get the hell out of here!'

(Y/n) looked at the orb and then she stood next to it. Before she could touch, she heard someone coming again. 

"Are you sure no one was there?"

"Lord Dark Link, please Ganon's orders were-"

"I wanna double check I haven't had fun in ages."

(Y/n) panicked and then she ducked behind the benches again and then she heard the doors opening again. (Y/n) saw Link or a darker version of him look around the room. (Y/n) was shocked when she saw Dark Link and then she knew that he was trouble. She covered her mouth so he didn't hear her panicking breathing. 

"I know you're here, come on out."

(Y/n) didn't want to come out of her hiding spot until Dark Link spoke up again.

"No point on hiding..."

Dark Link held his master sword near her and she knew she was in trouble.

"Come out now or I'll drag you out of your hiding spot!"

"All right! all right!"

(Y/n) said in a scared tone before standing up with her hands raised in surrender. Dark Link was surprised when he saw (Y/n).

"Who are you?"

"(Y/n), (F/n) (L/n)."

(Y/n) took a step towards the light so Dark Link could get a better look at her and he was surprised at her outfit. 

"Where are you from? I've never seen that outfit before."

"Uh, would you believe me if I told you that orb sent me from the modern world to this place?"

"The teleportation orb did?"

Dark Link looked at the orb and he noticed the orb did was reacting to (Y/n).

"But that orb hasn't been active in years until now, at least that explains why Vaati was showing some concern."

Dark Link lowered his sword and he puts it away.

READER'S POV

I sighed in relief after Dark Link sheathed his sword but, he grabbed me by the waist and he held me close possessively. I blushed bright red and he smirked at me.

"You know, you're kinda cute up close, it would be a shame to let someone like you get away from me."

"What?"

"Then it's settled, you're mine now, Princess."

My eyes widen and then he pins me against the wall.

"No! let me go! what are you doing?!"

"Relax Princess, I'll be gentle as I can."

Dark Link said before he licked my neck making me squirm and I struggled to get out of his grip. 

"Stop it! let me go!!"

"Let her go Dark Link!!"

Someone shouted before Dark Link was shoved away from me. He crashed landed onto the ground and I was shocked by this until someone offered their hand to help me back onto my feet. I looked who it was and it was Vaati. I took his hand and he helped me onto my feet.

"Are you all right Miss?"

"I am now, thank you."

"That idiot, he doesn't know the meaning of the word manners, name's Vaati and you are?"

"I'm (Y/n)."

Vaati looked at me up and down and then he looked back at the orb.

"I knew something had happened, so it was you who came from the teleportation orb, that thing hasn't been activated in centuries until now, tell me, how did you get here?"

"Long story..."

I explained to Vaati what had happened before I came here and then he understood what I told him.

"I see, so that's what happened."

"You believe me?"

"Of course, I am a mage, after all, I can tell where and when the magic happens."

Dark Link who stayed silent the whole time grabbed Vaati by the shoulder and he said to him.

"Back off, Vaati! I saw her first and she's mine!"

"You're not claiming anyone! now leave her alone! she's not a toy!"

"Says who?!"

I sweat dropped a little and I thought to myself.

'Seriously? these guys are supposed to be the villains from the Zelda games? how are their personalities so different compared to the video games?'

I asked myself but, now was my chance to escape before they could turn their attention back to me. However, before I could make a run for it, another familiar character appeared and this one is Zant from the Twilight Princess game.

"Going somewhere little girl?"

"Um...nowhere."

I said as I backed away from him until Dark Link caught me from behind.

"I got you now."

"Kya! let me go!!"

I tried to get out of his grip but, Dark Link was too strong. Zant then spoke up.

"Master Ganon, we've got an intruder."

I stopped struggling when I heard Ganon's name. Ganondorf came into the room and he frowned a little when he saw me. Fear rushed through my body when he stared at me with those cold eyes.

"What do we have here? Dark Link, did you find her in a bar or something?"

"No, turns out this cutie came from the teleportation orb, don't ask me how it happened but it did."

Ganon looked at the orb and then back at me. He held my chin and he smirked at me.

"Is that so? then that means this one came from a different world compared to ours, judging from the clothes she's wearing."

Ganon released my chin and he then ordered Dark Link.

"Until I decide what to do with her, lock her in the dungeons."

"Is that necessary my lord? I mean, she's cute, how could we do that to a princess like this one?"

"Just do as your told!"

Ganon yelled making me jump in fright and then Dark Link sighed in defeat.

"Fine, sorry about that Princess but, I'll be sure to rescue you soon."

Dark Link dragged me out of the room and he took me to the dungeons. Dark Link threw me in the dungeons and then he locked the door. 

"Don't worry, beautiful, it's not gonna be forever."

"You don't know that."

"Oh, I do because I'll be the one to let you out soon until then, behave yourself here, see ya."

Dark Link said as he left the dungeons. I pressed my back against the wall before sliding down onto the ground. 

"How did this happen to me?"

I mumbled before curling up into a ball and burying my face in my lap before crying my eyes out.
