READER'S POV

The next day, I planned to escape but, I was more worried about Dark Link and what he was gonna do to me if he caught me. I opened my bedroom door while being cautious since I wasn't sure if Dark Link was standing on guard. I sighed in relief when he wasn't around so, I left the room and I decided to take a peaceful walk through this dark castle AKA Ganon's castle.

I got to the training grounds and Dark Link was there. I hid behind a pillar so he didn't see me. I peeked out of my hiding spot and I watched Dark Link take down some of his training partners and he wasn't going easy on them. I was scared and impressed at the same time when I watched him. Dark Link tripped up one his training buddies and he smirked sadistically at him.

"Is that all you got?"

"Master...please, that's enough...we get it already!"

"Get what? that you're all weak and pathetic? isn't there someone who's strong enough to take me on?!"

I hid behind the pillar again and I thought to myself.

'Note to self, steer clear of Dark Link's fights and run like hell!'

I was about to head back to my room until someone grabbed my arm and pinned me against the wall. Dark Link smirked at me and he said to me.

"Hey Princess, were you impressed after watching me fight?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, now get off me!!"

With my free hand, I was able to shove him away from me. Dark Link continues to smirk at me and he said to me.

"Now, now, there's no need to be like that, I won't bite."

Dark Link licked his lips when he said this. I felt a little creeped out when he said this. 

"Anyway, I should get going, see ya!"

I dashed away from him and I hid behind the corner of the hallway. I sighed in relief and I thought to myself.

'Creep! sadist! pervert! ugh! I gotta get the hell out of here! maybe that teleportation orb can get me back home, I don't know how it works but, I gotta get back home and fast!'

I made my way back to the temple where Dark Link found me and luckily, there was no one on guard. I looked over my shoulder making sure no one was around before entering the temple. I looked around and there it was, still sitting there on the stand. I sighed in relief and I closed the doors behind me before walking towards it. I thought about how I got here but, all it did was glow brightly and then it sent me here.

I looked around a little and I looked at the circle and I recognised it from my world. 

"So you're the one Ganon has taken interest in?"

I jumped in fright when someone spoke up so suddenly. The man was dressed like a ninja but when I saw the eye symbol on his chest, I knew who he was.

"You're a Sheikah?"

"Call me Sheik and you must be (Y/n)?"

"Yeah..."

I nodded my head and then Sheik walked around me, checking me out and he then said to me.

"So you really are not from this world are you?"

"No, but, I need to get back home and fast, Dark Link has been harassing me."

"That sadistic monster has no self-control whatsoever, anyway, if you think that teleportation orb is going to get you back, you're wrong.

"What do you mean?"

"I'll explain later, right now, let's get you out of here."

I smiled when Sheik said this.

"All right, thanks, Sheik."

Sheik took my hand and then he opened one of the stone panels on the floor and he said to me.

"This is how I came in here, but, be careful."

"All right."

I said with a smile and I followed after him. Once we made it outside of the castle, another friendly face was there next to his horse, it was Link and Epona.

"Sheik, you're back."

"Sorry to keep you waiting, but, I found the girl."

Sheik stepped aside and he said to me.

"This is the girl that I heard about and it looks like your shadow has taken an interest in her."

Link looked at me and he smiled at me.

"Name's Link, it's nice to meet you (Y/n)."

"You too."

I shook hands with Link and then he looked at the castle.

"As much as I like to stay and fight him, now isn't the time for that, come on."

Link helped me onto his horse and he got on behind me. 

"We're getting out of here, hang on tight."

I nodded my head and I held onto Link's waist before he spurred Epona into a gallop. Link held me close and then we got out of the dark forest. The sun shined brightly in my eyes and once the light died down, I found myself in Hyrule field. I was impressed by the surroundings and then Link said to me.

"How does it feel to be out of there?"

"It feels great! I missed being out in the sunshine."

"Anyway, we should get you a change of clothes, we can't have the people of Hyrule staring at you with funny looks on their faces."

I looked at my clothes and he was right, they were dirty and I did stand out like a sore thumb. 

"You're right."

I said with a small smile on my face and then we got to Lon Lon Ranch. Malon came up to us and she smiled at us.

"Link! I'm so happy you came back, huh? who's this girl you've got with you?"

"This is (Y/n), she's new around here."

"I see, it's nice to meet you."

Malon said with a friendly smile on her face and then Link helped me off his horse. Malon stared at my clothes and she said to me.

"Are you from a different kingdom?"

"Uh...you could say that."

Link then asked Malon.

"Malon, can you give (Y/n) a change of clothes? the ones she's wearing right now are a bit of a..."

"Mess? I can see that, anyway, follow me, (Y/n), I've got some spare clothes you can wear."

I smiled at Malon and I said to her.

"Thank you."

I followed Malon into the house and she showed me some of her dresses and I picked the one that was my favourite colour. I am now wearing a (F/c) dress that reached knee length and it has a white blouse with a black ribbon on the collar, black leggings and brown boots. That dress actually suited me well and then Malon said to me happily.

"Let me do your hair too."

"All right."

I sat down on a stool and then Malon got to work on my hair. Malon brushed my hair gently while getting rid of the knots out of it and to me, it felt nice. Malon saw the look on my face and she asked me.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, it's just been a while..."

"Huh?"

"My Mother and Aunt used to brush my hair like this for me when I was little but, they're both dead."

Malon looked at me shocked and she said to me with a small smile.

"How does it feel now?"

"It feels nice."

I said with a smile and then Malon ties some of my hair back and she left the rest of it down and she ties a matching hair ribbon in my hair. 

"There we go, what do you think?"

Malon asked with a happy smile on her face. I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked...beautiful?

"Wow...what a transformation, I can't believe it's me."

"You look beautiful and adorable, come on! let's go and show Link!"

Malon said before dragging me out of the house. Link was patting Epona's mane until he saw us. He was surprised and impressed with the choice of the clothes Malon helped me picked out.

"Wow, nice work Malon."

"Thank you."

Malon said with a smile and then Link whistled loudly and then a light brown horse with two stockings came over to us.

"This is Joey, Malon's father was kind enough to give you one of his horses."

"Tell him I said thanks, Malon."

"I will."

Link helped me onto Joey's back and I said to Malon.

"Thanks again Malon, can you do me a favour and get rid of my old clothes? I don't think I'll be needing them now that I'll be living here."

"Sure thing, be careful out there and take care now."

Malon said before Link and I left on our horses. We walked through Hyrule field for a while and then Link explained to me.

"We're going to Hyrule castle and tell Zelda what we know and where you're from."

"Will she believe me?"

"I'm pretty sure she will."

Link said with a smirk and I knew what he meant.

'I completely forgot Sheik is actually Zelda in disguise.'

"You finally worked it out?"

"Yep, I keep forgetting Sheik is actually a woman."

Link laughed at me and then he asked me.

"So, your world, what's it like?"

"You wanna know?"

"Well, until we can figure a way to get you back where you belong, there's no harm telling me what it's like and how my shadow took an interest in you."

I smiled at Link and I felt like I can trust him. I told Link what my world was like and how I got here and how Dark Link was sexually harassing me. Link was shocked when I told him how Dark Link treated me before I met Sheik.

"I should have known Dark Link would do something like that to you but seriously though, are you gonna be all right?"

"Aside from nearly getting traumatised by that pervert, I'm all right, for now..."

"*Chuckles* don't worry, I'm nothing like my shadow, as long as you stay by my side, you've got nothing to worry about."

I blushed a little when he said this and I thought to myself.

'My guardian angel!'

3RD PERSON POV

Back in Ganon's castle, Dark Link searched for (Y/n) but he couldn't find her. Dark Link broke the news to Ganon and he wasn't happy.

"You let that girl escape again?! how did you let that happen the second time?! you were supposed to be watching her!!"

"Please forgive me, Lord Ganon! I don't know how she was able to escape from me either!"

Ghirahim appeared in the throne room and he said to Ganon and the others.

"I think I can tell you how she escaped, it would seem Sheik was able to sneak into the temple and help her escape."

"What?! how did that little sneak get in here?"

Dark Link shouted angrily and then Vaati said to him.

"If Sheik was able to get in here then that means he might be with the Hero too."

Dark Link gritted his teeth in anger and he mumbled.

"That hero is a dead man when I get my hands on him."

"Find the girl and bring her back here and Dark Link..."

Ganon glared at Dark Link and he said to him.

"Don't be too rough on the poor girl."

"I take it I can still do whatever I want with her?"

"Of course."

Dark Link smirked when Ganon said this and then he merged with the shadows. Ghirahim frowned a little.

"Hey! Dark Link! come back here! I want first dibs on her!!"

Ghirahim shouted before teleporting leaving some diamonds behind him. Vaati sweat dropped after watching those two left.

"Ugh, Lord Ganon, why did you let those two join our army?"

"Do you know something, I'm asking myself that very question right now."

Vaati snickered when he answered this. 

"Vaati, send some of your familiars to keep an eye on them and make sure they don't do anything reckless when it comes to that girl and also, continue your research with the teleportation orb."

"Yes, sir."

Vaati said before leaving the room. Vaati summoned his bat familiars and then he sent them to go after Ghirahim and Vaati.
