Doyun smirked as he stood on the balcony, dressed in his royal battle clothes, looking at the thousand soldiers below, each in their own battle gear.

"I want Daegu Kingdom in my hands," he whispered, gritting his teeth with determination.

It had been two months since he arrived here. In those two months, they had focused on attacking Daegu Kingdom. They planned everything carefully and quietly.

"Son, are you ready?" His father's voice broke through the air, making him turn. Doyun nodded, still smirking.

"Your Majesty, everything is ready as you commanded," the main commander said, bowing to the two royals. They both nodded and turned to look at the soldiers, who stood ready for the attack.

The air buzzed with anticipation. The soldiers, swords at their sides, waited for the signal to march, their faces showing determination and excitement.

His father stepped forward, his presence demanding attention. "Once we conquer Daegu, our kingdom's power will be unmatched. I will reign supreme, and in time, you, my son, will inherit a kingdom like no other."

"But what about that bastard Taehyung?" Doyun asked.

"I have sent many spies into that kingdom," the King replied with a smirk. "They are trapped in Daegu with no escape."

Doyun nodded, satisfied with the answer. "I can't wait to see the surprise on their faces," he said, a sinister grin spreading across his face. They both laughed, the sound echoing through the air.

"It’s time to surprise our dear friend," the King added with a chuckle.

Doyun turned to his father. "Father, do you think Taehyung knows we are coming?"

The King shook his head. "No, my son. Our plans were perfect. Other thing is how he know that when he is not in the palace so he cannot know about this."

Doyun grinned. "Good. I want to be the one to capture him."

The King nodded. "You will have that honor, my son. Now, let’s lead our men to victory."

With that, they both turned back to the soldiers, ready to lead the charge. The battle for Daegu was about to begin.

"Soldiers of Ulsan! Today, we start a glorious mission. Our destiny is to conquer the Daegu Kingdom and bring its riches and power under our rule. Are you with me?"

A roar of approval rose from the soldiers, their voices echoing through the air.

Doyun raised his sword high and shouted, "VICTORY TO THE KINGDOM OF ULSAN!"

The soldiers, as one, raised their swords and echoed, "VICTORY TO THE KINGDOM OF ULSAN!

"VICTORY TO THE KINGDOM OF ULSAN!"

Taehyung pov

I watched her adorable face as she sipped her last glass of soju, looking even more endearing with each passing moment. She was sitting beside me, her stubborn self refusing to let me stop her from drinking. I had tried to intervene, but she had brushed me off, insisting on finishing her drink. So, I waited patiently.

For the past two days, Y/N had been plagued by nightmares. Each time she woke up, she would cling to me, her eyes filled with fear, begging me not to go anywhere alone.

I knew the traumatic events of our past still haunted her, and her fear of losing me was overwhelming. That's why I had brought her here tonight to distract her, to make her smile again. But now, she was getting drunk instead.

"Y/N-ah, that's enough," I said, gently grabbing her wrist as she tried to pour herself another glass of soju.

"No, no," she protested, her voice slightly slurred.

The drinks were stronger than she realized, and soon, her cheeks were flushed with a rosy hue. I watched her with adoration, chuckling softly as she began to speak with a playful slur.

"Taehyungi," she began, giggling,

"I think you're the most handsome man in the entire universe. Like, seriously. Even the aliens would agree."

I laughed at her statement, my heart swelling with affection. But she cutely pouted and glared at me, her eyes narrowing in mock seriousness.

"Huh, don't laugh at me. I'm serious," she insisted, trying to maintain her stern expression.

I stopped laughing and adopted a serious face, looking at her intently before breaking into a smile. "Sorry, my alien queen," I replied, kissing her forehead softly.

She giggled, touching the spot where my lips had pressed against her skin.

"You're forgiven," she said, her voice filled with warmth.

I couldn't help but smile at how innocent she was. Even though she was a bit tipsy, she was still the same Y/N who had won my heart with her charming quirks and endless love.

Suddenly, she leaned closer to me, causing my heart to skip a beat. I wondered what she was planning as her warm breath brushed against my lips, making me swallow nervously.

Her hand reached up and gently traced the lines of my face, starting with my forehead, then moving to my eyes. "Your eyes are so beautiful," she whispered, her gaze fixed on mine.

Her finger kept moving until it reached my nose. She gently touched the tip and said softly, "I love this mole." Then, unexpectedly, she kissed it tenderly, surprising me with her boldness.

Her eyes then wandered to my lips, and I couldn't help but release a shaky breath. She tenderly grazed my lips with her fingertips, feeling myself losing control. I gulped try to control my hormones.

But I didn't want to take advantage of her drunk state. So, I gently took her hand in mine, halting her actions.

"You're drunk, love," I whispered softly, trying to resist the temptation that was building inside me.

Y/N pouted and shook her head, denying her tipsy state. I couldn't help but chuckle, pinching her cheeks lightly.

"My Y/Nie is so cute, and I adore your boldness," I confessed, watching as her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment.

"Don't make me shy," she mumbled, covering her face with her hands. I gazed at her, smiling at her adorable childishness.

Unable to resist, I pulled her hands away from her face and pecked her lips.

"You taste like cherries," I teased, earning a giggle from her.

But my smile quickly faded when I noticed a drunk man leering at my wife, his eyes undressing her with every glance. My jaw clenched in anger. From the moment we arrived, he had been eyeing her like a hungry beast, but I hadn't done anything, not wanting to scare her.

Now, he was staring with an ugly smirk, making my blood boil with anger. Did he have no shame? Such a disgusting bastard. His eyes roamed over her body with a lustful hunger, his tongue flicking out to wet his lower lip. She was too drunk to notice, but I saw everything. My fists clenched, knuckles turning white.

"Tae..." Her drunk voice called out to me, and I felt a wave of calm wash over me, but my eyes never left the man. I hummed, trying to control my anger.

Unable to bear it any longer, I gently pulled away from her. "Stay here, sweetheart,I'll be right back." I whispered, kissing her forehead softly.

I turned and walked towards the man, taking slow and careful steps. He saw me coming and smirked, showing he wasn't scared at all.

"Hey, asshole!" I barked, my voice low and dangerous. "Keep your fucking  eyes off my wife."I shouted, my voice like thunder, drawing the attention of everyone around us. The man had the audacity to smirk.

"Or what?" he slurred, swaying slightly. "What are you gonna do about it?"He laughed, a harsh, ugly sound.

"Or you'll regret it," I growled through gritted teeth.

My patience snapped. I closed the distance between us in two strides and grabbed him by the collar, lifting him slightly off the ground. His smirk vanished, replaced by a look of shock and fear.

"You'll regret ever laying eyes on her," I dangerously whispered.

Without another word, I threw a punch, my fist connecting with his jaw. He stumbled back, crashing into a table, drinks spilling everywhere. The bar went silent, all eyes on us.

"You think you can just leer at her and get away with it?"  I snarled, punching him in the stomach again. He bent over, trying to catch his breath.

But before he could catch his breath, I jumped on him and started punching. Each punch was driven by my anger, and I could hear the people around us gasping and shouting.

"She's a free woman, isn't she, By the way she's so pretty. F-  ?"He sneered. My fist connected with his jaw before he could finish his sentence, the impact sending him stumbling back.

"DON'T YOU DARE YOU BLOODY BASTARD . SHE'S MY FUCKING WIFE." I shouted and I grabbed his collar, ready to deliver another punch when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist from behind, back hugged me. Her touch instantly soothing my anger.

"Don't fight tae. You'll get hurt."she whispered, her voice trembling.

"Let it go."

I took a deep breath, feeling the tension slowly drain from my body. The man on the floor groaned, a pathetic sound that made me realize how far I'd let my anger take me.

"Leave," I growled at him, my voice quiet but threatening. He quickly got up and ran away, leaving a path of blood and embarrassment behind him.

I turned to face y/n, her eyes filled with gratitude and relief. She hugged me tighter, her head resting against my chest.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, cupping her face in my hands. "I just couldn't stand seeing him look at you like that."

She smiled, leaning into my touch. "I know," she said softly.

" I'm fine. Let's just go home." I nodded.

"We wouldn't want my Y/Nie catching a cold."I shrugging off my coat,Wrapping it around her shoulders to shield her from the chill, I added,

"But-" she started to protest, her pout returning as she lowered her head.

"No buts, love. You're coming with me. It's getting late, and we should get you home," I spoke in a deeper, more commanding voice that made her stop talking. She scoffed a bit but nodded, her defiance turning into obedience.
I chuckled at her behavior, shaking my head in wonder at how I could ever handle this cutie pie.

"You're coming home piggyback."Her eyes lit up with excitement, sparkling like stars in the night sky.

"Really? Piggyback? Yay!" She clapped her hands, her delight so infectious that I couldn't help but smile wider.

I crouched down, letting her climb onto my back. Once she was settled, I stood up, feeling her arms wrapped around my neck and her cheek resting against mine. Her warm breath tickled my ear, and her soft murmurs made my heart beat faster.

As we walked through the quiet streets, the stars twinkling above us, she nestled closer against me, her warmth seeping through my shirt.

"Whee! Tae, you're the best" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling over with excitement. Her arms wrapped around my neck securely, her fingers gently brushing against the nape of my neck.

"I love piggyback rides with you, Tae.It's like flying without wings." I chuckled and hold her tightly.

"Tae"  She whispered, I hummed listening her.

"You don't have to fight like that, " she murmured softly against my ear as we strolled along, her arms wrapped securely around my neck.

"I know, Y/N," I replied quietly, my voice softened by her presence.

"I just... I couldn't let him look at you like that."She nodded understandingly, her fingers lightly tracing patterns on the back of my neck.

"I appreciate that you want to protect me, but please don't put yourself in danger," she said sincerely, even in her drunken state, still concerned for my safety.

"I'll try to control it better next time," I sighed.

"Hmm, my good boy," she said in drunk voice, ruffling my hair and making it messy, a small smile playing on my lips. I tightened my hold on her slightly, cherishing the closeness between us.

As we continued our journey home, Y/N continued to chatter, her voice a sweet melody in the night, filling the air with warmth and joy.

Little did they know,  that someone watched them from the shadows with a smirk curling their lips. It was none other than a spy from the Ulsan Kingdom, observing their every move with a curious interest.
