Before I start this oneshot, I wanted to say happy birtday to my wife. Happy birthday darling :3 I love you so much and I hope you have an amazing birthday. Down the road, a car did drive. Music faintly belted out of the speakers of the small vehicle. A girl with long, red hair, Red; had her soft hands on the leather steering wheel, just barely moving the black circle.

In the passenger seat next to Red, a slightly shorter female with curly blonde hair, Annie sat next to her, looking out at the beautiful nature setting. Her pure eyes glistened at the admirable nature. watching the statuesque trees shrink behind the moving car.

Today was a beautiful day. The sky was an impeccable sahde of blue. Not a single cloud inhabbited the crystal blue scenery. The grey road was dry. Puddles of rain were nowhere to be seen. Forgot to mention, the heated yellow orb of light in the sky brought a nice heat down.

Such a beatiful day, perfect for a long roadtrip.

Sedative tunes from a guitar played on the radio. Though, it was ear candy, Red didn't dare to turn it up louder. She didn't want to disturb the way things were. She was ecstatic with how things already were. She looked to the blonde on her right.

Annie had one of her fingers caught in one of her soft curls. She fiddled with one of the plastic hairclips clamped in her hair. Red felt an virtuous smirk form on her face and slightly reached over, gently bopping her hand in Annie's velvety curls. "EEP!" She squeaked at the sudden contact. She laughed seconds later. "You're such a jerk, don't scare me like that!" She chirped.

The red head chuckled with fake evil tinted in her voice. "Me? Jerk? I'm not a jerk, I just wanted to play with your fluffy hair." She teased as she kept messing with her hair while still keeping her eyes on the perfect road.

Pink dust was collected on the blonde's cheeks. small giggles came from her throat. "j e r k" She spelled as she continued to let her laughs that were so angelic to escape her mouth.

Red pulled her hand away, placing it back on the leather wheel. "I can't wait for us to arrive." She said. "Same here." The curly -haired female replied. "By what you told me, it sounds absolutely beautiful!"

Red planned on taking Annie to a special place out in the woods. It was absolutely beautiful there. Especially at night. The sky was dark, but was illuminated by thousands of stars. Red used to drive to that specialized place all the time. She was super excited to bring Annie up there.

She had a special reason for wanting to bring her up there.

"I just- I want to see it so badly!" Annie beamed. "It sounds so beautiful!" She couldn't harbor the excitement she had inside her. Annie's happiness brought such joy to Red. Whenever Annie was happy, it just filled her up with rainbows and sunshine. Pure happiness.

'She's so beautiful and pure I can't-'

"I'm glad you're excited." She smiled. "We should hopefully be there in a half hour."

The blonde nodded, a tiny smile forming with her lips barely parted. "Okay!" She said with joy. Red smiled and continued to drive down the road.

Soon enough, Red turned down a dirt road, leading into a forest. Though, the road was coated with tan dirt, the grey road was still visible. Annie kept her eyes on the nature that they were passing by.

"So pretty.." She whispered as she examined the leaves on the trees. "So full of life, it's perfect!" She shouted with glee. "Reminds me of you." Red muttered to herself. Annie cocked her head, giving Red a look of confusion. "What did you say?"

Red blushed a bit. "Something I'll tell you later on." She said with a smile. "Could you tell me now?" The blonde asked, her fingers interlocking with each other. The redhead shook her head no. "It'll be better if I told you later on."

Annie whined. "AWWWWWC'MON!" She begged. "The wait will be worth it." Red chuckled. Annie puffed out her cheeks, crossed her arms and finished off with a dramatic pout. Red couldn't help but laugh one more.

She glanced at the clock, 4:49 P.M. was clearly flashed in green on the car radio. "The stars start to come around at eight." She said, trying to get the blonde next to her filled with excitement again. The blonde uncrossed her arms. "I can't wait to see them." She said in a happy whisper. "Your'e gonna love them. They're so luminous and gorgeous. Prettiest damn things you're ever gonna see!"

The car soon came to a halt. They had just arrived in the special place Red had been talking about. Tall trees that led into a deeper part of the forest stood tall and bold, burnt logs were pilled on top of one another, a fallen log sat motionless a couple feet away from the burnt log pile. It was a calm environment.

Without hesitation, Annie opened her car door and got out, letting her eyes examine the beautiful setting set into her mind. "Wow.. This is.... SO GORGEOUS!" She shouted. 

Red got out of the car, letting her eyes wander the familiar exquisite place. Seconds later, a wondered gasp came from Annie. She looked over and noticed a beautiful, blue butterfly had landed on her soft hand. A charming chuckle came from Annie, making Red's heart melt into a loving puddle.

Annie admired the beauty of the adorable creature on her hand. The shiny blue ombre base with black edges. White dots covered the edges. "Such a lovely butterfly.. So pure and unique." She whispered quietly, not wanting to scare the butterfly off her hand. "Sure is." Red said, slowly walking over to examine the creature.

The wings of the butterfly slowly opened and close. Annie smiled and slowly raised her hand into the air. "Go free little guy." She said, watching the butterfly fly into the air, making it's way into the statuesque tree.

She watched the creature flee into the trees, smiling. "Such beautiful creatures.." She cooed. "They sure are." Red whispered, enjoying the calm atmosphere they inhabited. "I can't wait for you to see the stars tonight. You are gonna love them."

The cracking of a fire filled the small space, illuminating the small space. The stars filled up the sky, shining brightly like neon lights in the sky. Such a beautiful sight. The reflection of the white dots twinkled in Red's eyes. Annie laid on the hood of the car sleeping. Her chest moved in a calm rhythm. Red walked over to her, gently shaking her.

"Ann.. Ann.. Annnniiiee~ It's time to wake up." She said in her singsong like voice. Annie groaned. "Five more minutes.." She moaned groggily.

"The stars are out~" She hummed. The blonde woke up and rolled on her back. Her eyes shimmered at the beautiful, shimmering white dots. "Woah.. they're sO PRETTY!" She beamed. "I love them!"

Red joined Annie up on the hood of the car, looking up at the white- speckled sky. Such a beautiful sight to the both, but according to red the prettiest sight of all was Annie.

Red smiled and felt a blush run across her cheeks. Her hand reached down and grabbed a hold of Annie's. The blonde looked over, just for her eyes to connect with Red's.

"Annie, I want to tell you something." Red began. There was no backing out now. "What is it?" She asked.

The redhead took in a deep breath. She then smiled. "I really like you. A lot actually. I have major feelings for you. And... I want you to be my star tonight. Would you do the honor?" She asked.

Annie smiled brightly like the sun. She hugged her closely. "Yes! Oh my gosh yes!" She said happily. "Of course I will!"

Red couldn't help but smile like a dork. She pulled Annie into a kiss. Their lips connected as the shiny, bright stars glistened on them.
