Shina. My beloved Shina. We really are meant for each other, otherwise fate would not have placed your grandmother right in my grasp like that. She had been such a wealth of information, without even knowing who she was giving it to.

She had thought me to be just an old friend from school. I had barely managed to get the general location of the house from her. I would have torn the information from her, but I just couldn't bring myself to do that to the grandmother of my beloved Shina.

Although I think that is mostly because when I looked at her, she had Shina's blue eyes looking back.

I'd driven for hours to get to the town nearest their home. Oh how I hated Elijah, the man who had stolen away what was supposed to be mine. My Shina. But also my children, Matthew and Emily...

But I would have them back again soon. I just needed to be patient a little longer. I wonder if anyone here could tell me where they lived? Time to go start the search.

I couldn't wait to feel my teeth against Shina's skin.

I had asked around town for nearly an hour before I found someone who had heard of an Elijah living nearby. I'd barely been able to hold back the tears that wanted to fall at being so close to finding my Shina, so close to being able to hold her again, to feel her in my arms, her lips pressing against mine, her nails digging into my back.

I was quite happy to be able to sit down in the cafe to talk with the woman about how much I couldn't wait to surprise my 'dear friend' Elijah with my visit, but was having a hard time finding his house. A few small smiles and 'accidental' touches of her hand later and I had everything I needed.

After I'd managed to get rid of the trash in a more private location, I pulled out my knife. Even if it had been to gather information, I'd touched someone other than My Shina. I would have to make sure the punishment was more severe this time.

I couldn't hold back the moan as the blade slowly sank into my flesh.

Hidden deep within the trees that lined the property, I watched as two small children ran up to the divine angel that stood watching them, a radiant smile on her face as they showered her with affectionate hugs.

"Mommy! Mommy! Look what we found!" They shouted happily, showing her something hidden within their hands. Seeing her face light up even more, I could only stare at her as my heart raced in my chest, my breath catching with every movement she made.

She was so beautiful, My Sweet Shina. My Goddess.

And I would kill to have her back.
