That night, Luna was fast asleep in jacks bed, the covers over her waist. She was curled up, her head against the soft, cool pillow. She couldn't believe she had found her father.

After all these years... she finally found him.

Jack had to do some work. When he finished, he walked into the cabin and quietly closed the door. His eyes locked on Luna, his precious little sparrow. He took off his hat and set it down on the dresser, leaving on the smooth bandanna around his head.

He walked towards her and sighed softly. She totally looked like him. She had his brown hair and his brown eyes. She had her mothers skin though.

Jack gently moved the covers over her shoulders before unzipping his boots and taking them off. He climbed into bed next to her and looked at her, gently placing a hand on her cheek.

She stirred slightly, only to melt jacks heart by cuddling in his arms. She rested her head against his shoulder and her hand on his chest.

He couldn't help but smile softly as he gently wrapped an arm around her waist.

"I-I don't want to lose you daddy... you're the only family I have..." she whispered as jack gently stroked her cheek with his thumb.

He pressed a soft and loving kiss to her forehead.

"I promise my little sparrow, nothing will harm you. You are my daughter and I promise to love and protect you with all my heart..."

Luna listened to his heartbeat as she sighed softly. "I love you..." she whispered before falling back asleep in his arms.

Jack looked at her and gently ran his fingers through her hair as he held her close. "I love you dear..."

He said softly as he rested his cheek on top of her head and yawned before his eyes fluttered to a close and he drifted off to sleep
