Hello guys! I thought i couldn't write this week because I've been sick for a couple of days now but thankfully, i felt better now so i decided to work on this story and update.

CARINA'S P.O.V.

I stared at Scarlet who was already asleep. She was hugging her teddy bear that Regan gave her before. I heaved a sigh and put the blanket over her. I gently kissed her forehead and dimmed the lampshade.

Then I went to my own room leaving the adjacent door slightly open. While I was on my bed, I was tossing and turning because my mind was still active. I couldn't sleep at all. I was so worried with my father and at the same time, I was thinking about Regan. I turned on my phone and stared at the wallpaper, it was our first picture together with our daughter. I smiled faintly as I remembered how we managed to take that picture.

It was that time when I first agreed to give Regan a chance to prove himself to me again.

"Daddy, I thought were going to take a lots of photos together? You told me we're going to put a picture of us together there" Scarlet said pouting as she pointed at the pictures of me and her dad on the wall. Regan chuckled amusedly and picked Scarlet up and pinched her nose gently.

"Yes princess. We'll do that. Daddy already called professionals. They'll going to come here tomorrow"

"Tomorrow? Can we just take one now Daddy? We can use mommy's phone. We used to take selfies using her phone" Regan looked at me while grinning.

"You know what selfie is?" Regan asked Scarlet. He looked like he was surprised.

"Of course daddy. Everybody knows about it. Even the cartoons I am watching every morning, they know about it"

"Hmm...Really? I didn't know that" I rolled my eyes staring at Regan. Is he for real?

"So, can we take a selfie now?" Scarlet asked again. Regan pretended that he was thinking about whether to say yes or no and Scarlet's forehead furrowed.

"Daddy?" She looked impatient now which made Regan laughed amusedly at her.

"Okay princess. We'll take one. Why don't you come here Kitten and let's take a selfie together?" Regan beaconed me. I was standing at doorway, watching them.

He was teaching Scarlet how to assemble different figures using Legos when Scarlet suddenly remembered about taking pictures.

I was about to approach them when I remembered that I just woke up. I just washed my face and brushed my teeth a while ago before going down. I consciously ran my fingers through my hair. I was still wearing my negligee but I covered it on with a silk robe.

"Why don't we just wait for the photographers tomorrow? I look like a mess" I said. Scarlet wiggled out of her father's arms and Regan put her down. She ran towards me and pulled my hand.

"You're beautiful mommy so c'mon. I want to have a picture with you and daddy" I smiled at her. She's such a cutie and it's hard to say no to her. I picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"Really? Is mommy really beautiful?" She touched my cheek and nodded her head.

"Yes mommy. You're beautiful. Daddy even said that" I looked at Regan questioningly and he was beaming like a fool.

"You heard our princess Kitten" Regan said and winked at me. He approached us and kissed my cheek sweetly. Scarlet giggled and even clapped her hands. My cheeks felt hot as I felt his kiss on my cheek. Just a simple kiss and my body almost turned mushy.

After that, Regan finally snapped a photo of us using my phone. He then passed it to his phone. He even had the audacity of changing my wallpaper to the photo which we had just took. Scarlet was very happy with the outcome.

The morning after that, the professional photographers came and we took several family pictures and some individual pictures. I wanted to protest but Scarlet looked like she was enjoying every minute of it so I just went on with the flow.

When they delivered the pictures, I was so shocked when it was all in life sizes. I just shook my head in disbelief while Regan was grinning from ear to ear and kissed me on the lips.

A smiled broke across my face as I remembered those moments. I heaved a sigh and wished that everything would be alright soon so that we could be together again. Even though it has been almost a day since we left the US, I already missed Regan.

I reached for the pillow and hugged it. I missed his embrace, his kisses, his warmth and his touch. I really missed him, all of him.

I decided to give it a try and dialed his number again but it was the same. Now I was curious what he was doing, why his phone was still unreachable. I sent him a message and waited for him to reply but I didn't receive any.

REGAN'S P.O.V.

I woke up with a terrible head ache and it felt like someone was hammering my head. I decided to get drunk last night because of the resentment I felt towards Carina and now I realized how stupid I was feeling like that.

I was blinded by anger last night but at the same time, I really missed Carina and Scarlet. Even though Carina didn't even wait for me to come home before they left, I still can't really get angry at her. I love her after all.

And now, I remembered clearly what Nilda told me about Carina being sad before they left for London. Something must have happened. Now I realized how selfish and fool I was. I even threw my phone and now I don't have a phone anymore.

I quickly went to the hallway where I threw my phone to yesterday, expecting to still find the pieces there. But it was already clean. I tried to look around and look for the sim and memory card but there was nothing. The floor was spotless and I cursed out loud. Now I remembered the pictures which were saved on the memory card. It was my pictures with Scarlet and Carina. There were a lot of pictures there which were memorable and precious. Damn! What have I done?

I just hope that it was all saved on my icloud account.

I quickly went downstairs and saw Nilda at the kitchen.

"Nilda, did you clean the mess I made at the hallway upstairs?" She looked at me confusedly.

"Ah, the cellphone? Yes, I already threw it away"

"Where did you threw it?" She furrowed at me.

"In the garbage but I already threw at the big garbage bin outside the gate. The garbage collector will get it in a few moments now, I guess. Why?" I didn't bothered answering her and ran outside, hoping that the garbage truck hasn't arrived yet but to my big disappointment, it was already taken by the garbage collector. Great! Bravo Regan!

I cursed out loud in frustration as I tugged through my hair like a mad man. I didn't know how long I was staring into nothingness. I was pulled out of my reverie when a car stopped right in front of me. I looked at it impassively and decided to just go back inside the house when the car opened and Tiffany came out.

My jaw flexed in anger as I stared at her. How dare this b*tch show her face in front of me again?!

"Hello Regan?" She said sarcastically and my blood boiled as my eyes squinted in anger.

"What are you doing here Tiffany?" I asked her. I didn't want to talk to her but I was curious of what her agenda was again this time.

"Nothing. I am here to check on you. You look miserable. I assume that Carina already left you?" I wanted to say no but I just bit my tongue and decided to just ignore her. I was about to turn my back on her but she continued.

"You know Regan, I still believe that we can work things between us. She left you again so why don't you just comeback to me and we'll start all over again" I felt like my whole body was eaten by anger as I stared at her. Stepped closer to her and yanked her arm, pulling her roughly towards me.

"Shut up Tiffany! I don't want to hear any of your sh*t! Do me a favor and get lost!" I spat at her but she just smirked unaffectedly at me. 

I was so enraged that I didn't even realized what she was about to do to me. Before I could react, she clung her arms around my neck and kissed me on the lips. I instantly felt disgusted and madder than before. I tried to push her away from me but she was determined on what she was planning.

I grabbed her on her arms tightly and pushed her away, this time, it was forceful.

"You make me sick Tiffany!" I hissed and wiped my lips with the back of my hand. I felt so disgusted of her but she looked like unaffected by my anger. She just smirked again before she turned her back and was about to go in her car when I yanked her arm again.

"Why the f*ck are you here?!" She just looked into my hand which was tightly gripping her arm.

"Nothing. I just want to see you because someone just told me that your lover left you again. Poor you Regan. Maybe she doesn't really love you that's why it's always easy for her to leave you like you don't matter" She giggled like a b*tch. I gritted my teeth and let go of her arm roughly. I opened my mouth to say something, anything to retaliate to her but I couldn't find any words to say.

"Cat got your tongue my dear ex-husband? Since you're alone again like me, why don't we make up for the lost times instead? Don't expect her to come back to you again because I'm sure that she won't do that this time"

"Shut up! Just get out of my sight before I do anything to you" I warned dangerously through gritted teeth and her smirk instantly wiped out. I could see the fear in her eyes as she looked at me. She cleared her throat and tried her best to look confident as always before she opened her car and get in.

My eye brows furrowed when I caught a glimpse of someone in her car but I wasn't interested anymore about it. I just turned my back and went back inside the house then decided to just take a bath. After I took a bath, my headache was subsided a little bit.

After that, I called Attorney Santiago and informed him about what happened a while ago. He was still on the process of gathering more information against Tiffany that he could use so that she could be prosecuted too. While the case against Rosie and Russel was already at the court, the case against Tiffany being an accomplice was denied due to lack of evidence.

I didn't let go of Russel yet. He's going to come out as a witness during the trial; that was the plan. He couldn't do anything other than follow my orders because he was hoping that his family could forgive him if he would tell the truth.

I didn't know what happened to Rosie and where could she be right now because the police couldn't find her at all. Even her family was denying that they knew her whereabouts.

After my short talk with Attorney Santiago, I went downstairs and ate. 

When I was eating at the dining table alone, I felt the emptiness again. I looked at the 2 chairs which were Carina and Scarlet used to seat on to. I heaved a sigh and stood up. I didn't even eat all that much because my appetite was instantly gone upon remembering the two most important people of my life.

CARINA'S P.O.V.

"Mommy..." I was woke up by a little voice calling for me. I knew it was my daughter and I smiled. I opened my eyes.

"Good morning baby" I greeted her.

"Good morning too mommy. Can we call daddy now?" She asked immediately with an evident expectation on her face. She looked like she just woke up too.

"Where is my morning kiss baby?" I asked while pretending to be pouting. She giggled and kissed me on the cheeks.

"Can we call him now?" She asked again after the kiss. I chuckled softly and squeezed her little nose gently.

"Okay my beautiful baby" I reached for my phone on the bedside table just to be surprised when I saw a MMS message which was sent by an unknown number. My forehead creased and opened the message just to gasp in shock when I saw the content. My hand instantly covered my mouth as I stared at the picture. My eyes watered and I instantly felt furious.

"Mommy, are you okay? Are you crying?" Scarlet asked worriedly. I tried my best to stop the tears which were threatening to fall any second now and forced a smile.

"I'm fine sweetheart. Something just caught in my eye" I lied and discreetly wiped my tears. My hands were trembling and my heart was beating so fast because of anger. What is the meaning of this picture?

Lmao....Tiffany and Rosie will do anything to destroy Regan eh? 

Maybe there are 4 more chapters remaining for this story...I think? Let's see.
