3 weeks after the proposal

REGAN'S P.O.V.

I groaned irritably when I felt someone shook my shoulder. I still felt so tired. I came home late last night from my business meeting with Mr. Aoki, a Japanese investor. We finished our meeting at 8 pm but when I was about to go, he asked me to join him for a drink and I couldn't turn him down. I reluctantly agreed. I called Carina and told her about it and she was pissed.

She wanted me to buy her mangoes and I promised her that I would buy her some. She was even excited but when I told her that I couldn't go home early, she hang up on me.

So after we had a drink at the bar, I went home at almost 2 am. I was so tired because of working all day and now, it's still early in the morning but someone's waking me up.

I opened my eyes and saw Carina with her knitted brows while shaking my shoulder. She looked irritated too. I discreetly looked at the clock on the bedside table and I almost groaned and cursed out loud when I saw the time. It's still 6:03 am for f*cks sake!

"Good morning, Kitten. It's still early. Why are you waking me up? I am tired. I need to sleep more" I said and pulled the blanked over my head and closed my eyes, wanting to sleep more.

"I want to eat ripe mangoes now" She said.

"Later, Kitten. Please let me sleep"

"But I want it now, honey" I heaved a sigh and sat up.

"Just give me 2 more hours of sleep and then I'll go buy mangoes when I wake up, okay?" I asked her with half closed eyes but instead of saying yes, she suddenly laid back beside me and faced the other side. She looked really pissed.

"Fine! If you don't want to then don't! I am not forcing you to!" I ran my hand through my hair exasperatedly. She's been acting like this for days now. She had mood swings and always asking for food she usually doesn't like before.

"Kitten, don't be angry at me. I'll find some mangoes for you later, okay?" I said, trying my best to talk to her calmly, and kissed her shoulder.

"Hmp!" She just answered and didn't say anything more and didn't turn around to look at me. I could feel her irritation towards me. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep again but I couldn't, thinking that she's pissed off at me. I tried again but I just couldn't. I heaved a sigh and sat upright. Damn! I give up!

"Is that all you want to eat?" She suddenly faced me and gave me the sweetest smile. Her smile instantly brightened my day and the irritation I felt faded. I couldn't help myself and leaned forward and pecked her on the lips.

"Yep. I want the ripe ones" She said like she was salivating just saying about it. I shook my head and got off the bed. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

After I got dressed, I strode towards the bed. I sat beside her and wrapped my arm around her waist.

"I'll try to find ripe mangoes but I am not sure where to find it in this hour" She pouted and glared at me.

"I'm sure you can find it....You smell so bad, honey!" she even covered her nose with her hand like I was a disgusting person in front of her. My eyebrows knitted together and smelled myself. Hell! I smell nice. I just took a shower like 10 minutes ago! WTF!

"What are you talking about, Kitten? You told me before that you loved my perfume. It's the same perfume. I didn't change it"

"Are you sure?! I don't like it! It smells so bad!" I gaped at her. She's being impossible. I heaved a sigh and decided to just go and leave her alone because she looked more irritated than a while ago.

"Okay. I'll stop wearing that perfume. See you later. I'm going now" I said and was about to kiss her when she evaded me.

"Don't come near me! You smell horrible!" She hissed and turned her back on me. Argh! Patience Regan, patience. She's pregnant.

I went out without saying anything to her. I laughed humorlessly. Carina never behaved like this before. She was always the sweet kind of a person but feisty when pissed off. I missed the sweet Carina. Ever since she became pregnant with our second child, she's always moody and always pushing me away. But when I don't give her my attention, she would get piss off at me. I can't understand her anymore sometimes.

Well, I knew very well that this was because of her pregnancy but I couldn't help but to get irritated too especially when I am tired. Like now, I didn't have enough sleep but she demanded me to find her mangoes and she even told me that I smelt bad.

I just chuckled as I remembered her expression while telling me that I smelt bad. Goodness! She's really impossible!

I went inside my car and drove past the gates. I didn't even know where to find ripe mangoes nearby. I decided to go to the nearby Asian Market but when I arrived there, it was still closed. Damn!

I saw the opening time and it would be at 9am! What the hell! It's still 7:30 am!

I tried searching for another store who were already open now but most of them opens at 9 am! Argh! I got inside my car and just decided to wait at the parking area of the Asian Market. I leaned back my head against the headrest. I yawned and felt myself falling asleep. I felt tired and sleepy. I couldn't take it anymore, I gave in....

I woke up when I heard my phone ringing incessantly. I immediately answered it when I saw Carina calling me.

"Hello, Kitten" I greeted sleepily.

"Where are you?! Did you go to Philadelphia just to buy mangoes that's why you haven't returned home yet?" The angry voice of Carina made my eyes widened. I looked at my wristwatch and I groaned inwardly when I saw that it was already 10:16 am. I've been sleeping for 3 f*cking hours here!

"Ahm...I'm sorry, Kitten. Don't worry, I'm on my way"

"Hmp! Just make sure you're home within 30 minutes or else you're going to sleep at the guest room tonight" She threatened and hang up on me. Damnation!

I quickly got out of my car and I almost ran towards the Asian Market and searched for the ripe mangoes. Thankfully, they had ripe mangoes. I took at least 10 pieces and put them in a plastic bag. When I went to the cashier, I cussed when I saw the long queue...This is not good...

"I'm home" I announced to get the attention of Carina who's watching a horror movie. She didn't even look at me as if she didn't hear me. I approached her and kissed her forehead.

"Kitten, I have your request" I said proudly and showed her the bag of mangoes in my hand. Instead of being happy as I expected her to be, she didn't say anything and averted my gaze. She looked angry and depressed.

"Is there anything wrong, Kitten?"

"I don't like mangoes anymore"

"What? But you told me you wanted to eat these!" I couldn't help but to raise my voice a little bit. She's becoming unreasonable.

"Yes! I wanted to eat mangoes this morning but my craving disappeared because you didn't come home right away. Where did you go? Were you with another woman?" She was looking at me like a hawk who's reading my mind. My mouth feel open.

"What are you talking about? I was alone and didn't have someone with me. I couldn't come home right away because I fell asleep in the car. When I arrived at the Asian Market, it was still closed so I stayed in the car and fell asleep" I explained and sat beside her.

"You weren't answering your phone. I was calling you many times but you were ignoring me" She said sullenly. I took a deep breath and snaked my arms around her waist. I was about to pull her for hug when she pushed me away.

"Don't touch me! I don't want to be held by you. I bet you held her into your arms too" That's it. My patience ran out.

"Aren't you listening, Carina? I told you the reason why I couldn't come home right away, haven't I? Why don't you believe me? My God! You're being impossible!" I was about to stand up and leave her there when I heard her hiccups. She was staring at me like she was shock of my reaction. I saw the tears running down from her eyes. I cursed myself inwardly. Damn, I lost my patience. I felt so tired and sleepy that I couldn't stop myself from saying those things to her.

"K-Kitten...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to raise my voice like that. Please, don't get mad at me" I begged and held her hand with my hand while the other wiped her tears. It hurts me seeing her cry like this and I wanted to punch myself because I was the one who made her cry.

"Shh...Don't cry, Kitten. You know I hate seeing you like this" I consoled her and hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry, honey. I don't know what's happening to me. When you're near, I felt irritated, but when you're not with me, I'm missing you so much. When you didn't come home right away, I really thought you were with someone else. I thought you got fed up with me and replaced me with another woman. I know I'm being crazy these past few days but I couldn't help it. I don't know what's happening to me. I'm sorry. Please forgive me" I pulled away from our embrace and cupped her cheeks.

"You don't have to say sorry. I understand. I know that this is because of pregnancy hormones but please don't ever think of me cheating on you because I will never do that to you. I love you so much and nobody can replace you. For me, you're the most beautiful and amazing woman in the world and we exclusively belong with each other. Even though you're unreasonable sometimes, I still love you and our children. Don't ever forget that" She nodded her head in understanding and pulled me for another embrace.

I sighed in relief. I thought she wouldn't believe me but thankfully she did. I smiled but that smile instantly disappeared when she suddenly pushed me away again.

"I really don't like your smell today, honey" She crinkled her nose and pouted. I just shook my head but smirked when a naughty idea popped up on my head. I began unbuttoning my polo shirt while observing her reaction. Her eyes widened when she saw what I was doing.

"What are you doing?! Scarlet and Dad will be home any moment now" She rebuked as she looked around us. Her dad arrived here 2 days ago and visited us. He took Scarlet to the mall. I bet he would buy a lot of stuff again for Scarlet.

"Don't worry, Kitten. The maids are doing their work right now and I'm sure that dad and Scarlet will be coming home after lunch. You know dad spoils Scarlet a lot. I'm sure he would take Scarlet to every store Scarlet wants to visit. In short, we're alone here and can do what we want to do" I said while grinning from ear to ear. Her cheeks reddened. Oh, she's more beautiful when she blushing like this and I felt aroused. When I finished removing my polo, I pulled her by the waist. She gasped in surprise.

"Do you like my smell now, Kitten? I removed my polo so you won't smell my perfume anymore" I teased her. Her eyes went to my body and I saw her gulped. Her eyes sparkled with desire. I put a finger under her chin and made her look at me.

"I'm asking you, Kitten" She swallowed hard again.

"Y-Yes. I like your smell now" She admitted. I smiled triumphantly and caressed her cheek. Damn, I want to ravish her right now! I got closer to her and was about to kiss her when the door opened and the voice of our daughter echoed throughout the house with her grandpa following her from behind.

"We're home mommy, daddy" She happily said and ran towards us. She hugged Carina and then kissed her cheek. Then she did the same to me.

"Why aren't you wearing a shirt, daddy?" She asked curiously. Carina's dad looked at us with a teasing smile.

"It's hot, princess so I removed my shirt" Carina snickered.

"Don't mind your daddy, baby. Anyway, are you hungry now, baby?" She asked Scarlet.

"We already ate, mommy. What is that?" Scarlet asked, pointing at the bag of ripe mangoes.

"Those are mangoes baby. Want to eat some?" Carina asked her and she nodded. Then they went to the kitchen together, leaving me and dad alone.

"So I guess, we interrupted something" He said and I suddenly felt embarrassed. I took my shirt and put it back on me.

"No, dad. I just felt hot a while ago" He chuckled and patted my shoulder.

"If you say so. C'mon, let's go to the kitchen. I bet you haven't eaten yet" I nodded my head and stood up. I cussed under my breath when I felt my hard friend down there. Damn! It felt uncomfortable!

When we reached the kitchen, Carina and Scarlet were already eating the mango. They were sitting on the stools at the kitchen island. I approached Carina and hugged her from behind.

"Be ready tonight, Kitten. I'm going to punish you for laughing at me a while ago" I whispered to her ear sexily. She stopped eating and stared into my eyes. The desire was evident and I couldn't wait for the night to come.

When the night time came, as I promised to Carina, I gave her a naughty punishment which she obviously enjoyed. I ravished Carina over and over again.
