The New Year's substitute teacher,
Looks like a mythical creature,
All students beware --
The snakes in her hair,
Are part of her dangerous features.

February

Be mine this Valentine's Day,
If you do, then I will say,
That I will be true,
And only to you,
Oh baby, please don't go away!

March

I woke up in purple wool socks,
Today is the Spring Equinox,
A robin flew by,
It gave a big sigh,
As it flew to its nest in a box.

April

Today there will be April Showers,
And soon there will be mayflowers,
The sun is coming,
Some people are humming,
"I really love April's powers."

May

The wonderful month of May,
Is the month of Mother's Day,
Give her ham and eggs,
For breakfast in bed,
C'mon! It's a small price to pay!

June

Today I wish to stay cool,
I wish that I was at the pool,
Or play some fun games,
But I feel real lame,
Because I'm still at school!

July

Today is the 4th of July,
Today, the fireworks fly,
It is way past noon,
I can see the moon,
As fireworks BOOM! in the sky!

August

Today's the last day that is hot,
Today I'm not happy a lot,
It's the end of summer,
That's a real bummer,
I look to back - to - school - not! :(

September

Today was the first day of school,
For this, I thought I was too cool,
I taunted a tot,
But then I was caught,
I'll never again break that rule!

October

Today was Hallow' s Eve' s night,
Where monsters have their full might,
Those snakes make me shake,
These monsters aren't fake,
Mere shadows can give me a fright!

November

Thanksgiving' s a feast day to try,
To make yourself serve pumpkin pie,
Would you like to stay,
To try our buffet,
Before we must say our goodbyes?

December

On Christmas Night I did pace,
I wanted to see the good face,
Of Santa who was,
In my parlor because,
He got stuck in my small fireplace!
