Oh just notice me,
Lying here in the dark.
I'm alone
With just my glass shards.

I know I'm nothing great
And all I do is
Wait
For time to catch up with me.

I know I am a shadow in the night,
And all I do is sit on Tumblr, writing poetry all day,
Creating art in
A tragically beautiful way.

I know,
I'm not what you want,
But before you go,
Look in my direction just once.
