THE MERCILESS TIGER
THE MERCILESS TIGER
Here comes the tiger.
An apex predator.
Well Known for his ferocity.
His roar sends chills to the spine of other animals.
His territory is marked with the blood of deer and boars.
When he pounces on his prey, the birds flinches and soars.
It's to be known that the tiger is not like any other animal that snatches his victory from the jaws of defeat.
Neither does he associate with the paws of misfit.
When it comes to laws, his claws creates it the way he sees fit.
Anyone who breaks his law or go against him, suffers from his sharpened teeth.
Walking with the carriage of pride.
Stepping on the hopes of those that strives.
Cruelty and injustice shown on his path.
It's the merciless tiger that no one likes.

Note: The Merciless Tiger is a metaphor for a ruthless dictator/Ruler. Every stanza of the poem is used to describe such individual. The first stanza describes that individual as a person capable of creating fear in the minds of the people that he is ruling and he creates such fear by making a scapegoat out of a person. When the accomplice of this scape goats sees what has become of their friend who tries to stand up against the dictator, they began to flee for their dear lives in order not to be the next victim.
The second stanza portrays the dictator as one that takes massive action to achieve what he wants and he doesn't succeed with mere luck. His effort speaks victory for him. The stanza also potray him as someone who only associates with men of high class and status like him. He doesn't associate with people that is underneath him or the ones called commoners. He creates the laws to his taste and to his own advantage and anyone who breaks his law usually face certain penalties or punishments.
The Third stanza portayed the dictator as a man full of pride and an individual that enjoys oppressing people who are struggling to survive. The dictator is portayed as one who destroys the hope that the weak hold on to. He is also seen as a man that promotes injustice in his society or state that he is rulling. In other words, he is biased man. The last sentence of the poem shows that nobody likes a ruler or dictator like him.
With that, I've explained the poem to y'all understanding. If any of you have a question to ask as regarding the poem, you are free to ask. I will be glad to answer your question. 😊😊
