What's love? What's devotion?
What is all of that?
Everyone has something they seem to be a fan of
except me.

I drop something as quickly as I take it in
I don't know why.
Those certain occasions where I still love something
isn't enough to call me a fan.

Devotion; what a strong word.
To be a fan, one must devote.
I can't do that, I just can't;
I drop something as quickly as I take it in.

What does it matter, though?
As long as you love something,
nothing else matters (unless you're disrespectful).
I still hold the love I held onto for my favorite things.

Can you even call it love, though?
To be a true fan is to anticipate and love something
no matter the situation,
yet I can't feel that way.

I'm so confused;
I don't understand my own feelings.
Am I a true fan or not?
All I know is that I love my favorite things.

Sometimes, I feel like watching them,
other times, I don't.

yet I can't feel that way.

I can't fully love something,
no matter what.
There's always things I would dislike about something I love.
Is that so wrong?

One, two, three, I love a number of things, but
three, two, one, I'm not entirely devoted.
It's sad, really, I can never call myself a fan,
but at least I can continue to sing out my love.

Still, it's not wrong to not like everything
about something you like, right?
Can you still call yourself a devoted fan, though?
I highly doubt so;

after all, you gotta anticipate them, no matter the situation.
