Amidst all dark moments
There are things I'm still glad I have
Whether it be friends
Like the people who didn't abandon me
Even when I barely could talk with them
Or family
Who treated me with consideration
And acceptance
Or opportunities
So kind as to reach out to even
Seemingly un-qualifiable traits
I'm grateful to them
In some way or another
I may thank them
