Raven and the boys had gone down for coffee at the café across from the icecream parlour,  Raven was currently 15 and a half weeks pregnant with twins. She would be able to find out the genders in just a few days, and she was getting a healthy pregnant glow about her now.

"We've been having alot of attention from record companies lately." Slash said, dipping his plastic spoon into his cup.

"Oh yeah?" Raven replied

"Yeah, hey what about that Kim Fowley idiot?" Izzy said,

"You know what the idiot did? He invited me round and there was two chicks like nineteen years old... old enough to be his daughters, and they were doing lines with him in the bathroom and sucking him off!" Slash told them, grimacing.

"Man! He can fuck off! That deal he tried to get us to sign was practically voluntary servitude." Duff said, Raven giggled.

"They're circling us like buzzards!" Steven smirked, sipping his coffee.

Izzy drank some, then touched his top lip. Probably checking that there was no foam there.

Duff pulled a metal flask out of his pocket and poured a clear liquid into his coffee. Raven knew for sure that it wasn't water.

"They can get fucked. Their deals are bullshit." Axl stirred his coffee absent mindedly,

Raven drank another gulp of coffee.

Three days later...

Raven had her appointment today, and when she arrived, having been picked up by Duff, all of the boys were waiting there for her exept for Izzy.

"Where's Izzy?" She asked, beginning to worry. Everyone shrugged and mumbled that they didn't know where he was.

They went into the surgery, knowing that if they waited too long outside, they might miss the appointment. Raven fidgeted nervously as she sat on the cushioned lounge seat. Duff sat next to her, rubbing her back reassuringly.

"Raven Cassel." Came the call, and Raven got to her feet, frowning.

She hesitated for a second, then followed the doctor through to the room.

"Hullo, are we missing someone today?" Asked the doctor.

"Um... yeah. Not sure where he's gotten to." Duff explained while Raven clenched her jaw. She worried; what if something happened to him? What if he didn't turn up?

All of a sudden, in through the door burst Izzy. His hair was awry and his expression panicky and apologetic.

"Did I miss anything?!" He exclaimed,

"No, we haven't started yet." The doctor told him.

"Oh thank god!" He grinned in a relieved way.

"Why are you late? You made me worry?!" Raven questioned him,

"I forgot it was today, but I'm here now, so don't worry!" He said.

The doctor did a general checkup, and checked the babies' and her hearts, then said

"Okay, Raven, looks like you're doing well. Let's see about these babies..."

The doctor went and found pillows and got out the ultrasound machine, then made her lie down with the pillows propping her up, just like last time.

"Okay, so just now, they're developing eyesight, their heart and circulatory system are getting going, and their hearing is starting to develop." The doctor said as they spread the gel over her ever growing bump. The doctor placed the device against her belly,  and everyone focussed on the screen. Raven's heart rate picked up in excitement, and she watched as the doctor swivelled the ultrasound device over her skin. They were looking much more like babies now, but their heads were too big. The baby on the top was a boy, and as the doctor moved the machine to the side of her baby bump, they could all see the other was a girl. Raven grinned.

"One boy and one girl. What are you thinking?" Duff smiled,

"I'm- that's so amazing! I just- dunno what to say!" She exclaimed, while Slash and Axl handed each other two dollars (Cause they were betting on it being either gender when they first found out she was pregnant).

"They're both looking really healthy! You should be due in the second last week of July next year." The doctor told her

After the appointment, Raven went shopping by herself, because christmas was approaching and she needed to get the boys presents. An hour of browsing and all she had found was two glasses with the jack daniels label across them and a bottle of no.7 for Slash. As she walked through the liquor store she remembered that Duff loved vodka, so she got a bottle of it for him, then checked out. She had been browsing for another half hour after that, when she walked into a toy shop and found a puzzle game for Axl, and a rubix cube. So Axl, Slash and Duff were good to go. For Steven she bought a box of legos. Now what to buy Izzy?

She went through many shops, and found nothing that she thought he'd want. Then, as she went past a pet store, she looked in to see a puppy wagging it's tail, tongue lolling out. It was very cute and she immeadiately thought Izzy would love it. It was a black german shepherd pup. She entered the store and bought the dog, put it into a pet carrier and got two pet bowls, a collar and a leash, then she made her way out, with the excited puppy bouncing around in the carrier. She bought some wrapping paper and tape and a permenant marker, then she went home, pleased with her purchases.

Christmas rolled around much too early for her taste. The day began with her waking up to feeling sick and needing to pee badly. She was 18 weeks through her pregnancy, and as she peed she could feel something weird in her stomach. She could feel movement. On her left side she could feel something pressing against her side, moving around a little. She put her hand there and felt a light kick against her palm. She gasped and smiled. Her baby was kicking for the first time! She finished on the toilet and washed her hands, then she ran downstairs to tell her father.

"Dad!" She yelled as she made her way to the kitchen, "dad! Dad!" She exclaimed,

"What Raven?" He replied calmly.

"The baby kicked!!!" She told him.

"Really?" He asked, excitement building himself.

"Yes, yes! Feel." She grabbed his hand and put it on her bump.

"I don't feel anythi-" he began to say, but then the baby kicked his palm lightly. "Awww! Raven, they kicked!" He said.

"I know!!!" She grinned, hugging her father. The baby began kicking crazily at her father, then she felt another stirring and the second twin began doing much the same thing.

"Ahh! Raven, they're trying to beat me up!" He exclaimed. What a wonderful christmas present. The boys all arrived at Raven's for christmas about half an hour later. Raven ran up to them, giving them hugs. Just as she hugged Duff, one of the babies kicked.

"What was that?" He asked,  pulling away. The smile grew on Raven's face as Duff put a hand on her baby bump. The baby did it again. Making Duff grin.

"Are they kicking? " he asked,

"Yesss!" She squealed, and suddenly everybody had a hand on her stomach. The twins both went crazy, punching and kicking at the hands on her belly. Everyone suddenly had big smiles.

"Aww! They're kicking!" Izzy exclaimed.

"Congratulations, Rae!" Slash said,

"I'm so happy! They're kicking! They're moving! I can't wait to play with them!" Steven told her,

"I can't wait to hold them." Axl smiled. 

"Okay, now pressies!" Raven said.

Presents were passed to their respective owners, and Izzy opened his first.

"Um... why is this one moving?" He pointed at Raven's present. He ripped the paper off and the puppy threw itself against the door of the carrier, barking excitedly.

"A puppy? Really Raven?" Izzy smiled.

"What will you name it?" Asked Slash,

"It's a girl." Raven commented,

"I dunno..." Izzy said, "how about miss" he said, then turned to his other presents, which was a bottle of nightrain from Steven, a led zeppelin vinyl from Slash, a new black denim jacket from Duff and a beer stubbie with his name on it from Axl.

Slash got another bottle of jack, a bottle of scotch, a bottle of nightrain and a bottle of vodka.

"What's with all the alcohol?" He opened Raven's next. "At least I have something to drink it out of." He said,  and picked up the jack daniels tumblers Raven had got him.

The others all got similar gifts, and everyone was pretty happy with them. Raven got some candy from Izzy, a coffee maker from Duff, a pacifier with the Rolling Stones logo on it from Slash, a jigsaw puzzle of a fox from Axl and Steven got her a black leather handbag with a silver metal skull and studs on it.

"Who wants pizza?" Raven asked everyone. There were collective cheers at this, and Raven quickly ordered a supreme,  a meat lovers and a chicken pizza over the phone.

These arrived within twenty minutes and the rest of christmas day passed in happiness and laughter, with kicks from both twins.
