Third person's POV

As it was getting dark from the rain clouds, covering the sky.

Temari and Kankuro had stop for a moment as Temari had put an unconsious Gaara down and lay him against Kankuro's leg while she when down, putting her ear against the tree branch that their were on.

"So what's up, Temari?" Kankuro asked.

"He's close. He's just right there." She answered him as she get up and stared at the direction Sasuke was at.

"Dang it! What should we do ?"Kankuro asked, furiously.

Temari smirk as she took out a roll of wire strings. "Leave it to me." She told him as she pull the strings with her teethes.

Meanwhile Sasuke was jumping through the forest in amazing speed.

He didn't notice the explosion tag and wire, as he pass it causing it to trigger, releasing massive explosion behind him.

Catching Sasuke by surprised and quickly avoiding it.

He land on another branch but there were more wires and explosion tags which he dodge all of them as their exploding after him until he hanging safely upside down on another tree branch once more.

"That was close." Sasuke said in relief.

Sakura, who heard the explosion. Turn to where it was coming from.

"What was that noise?" She wondered.

Naruto caming down from a tree branch, landing behind, looking confuse until Pakkun fall onto his head.

"An explosion... Perhaps it was a trap set for Sasuke." Pakkun proclaimed.

"I wonder if he's okay." Sakura wondered, worried.

"Don't worry... He wouldn't get bumped off so easily." Naruto reasure her.

I sure hope so. Pakkun though.

Nikki's POV inside her mindspace.

"Is there some way from me to escap?" I desperately asked the Phoenix.

I look at the Phoenix in surprised. "Wh-What do you mean."

There is a technique the Phoenix Princess can do that doesn't require a physical body."

I was confused. "What?"

"Does the astral projection mean anything to you?" The Phoenix asked me, curiously.

I shake my head in respond.

"Astral projection is a technique that allow the user unconsciousness to leave the phsysical body." It explain to me. "However it take years of meditation training but I'll get you a hand."

The Phoenix spread it's wings out, releasing a power glowing light from it.

I quickly covered my face with my arms.

As the light faded, aloow me to eeopen my eyes before letting out a gasp in shock, I found myself outside a forest.

I lift up my hands and see that their were transparent but not just my hands, my whole body was.

I covered my mouth in shock as I saw Gaara, Kankuro and Temari but that didn't shock, it was that fact that I saw myself in Kankuro's arms.

I move closer to my body and reachout to touch myself but it when theough my face, shocking me more.

What...? Did it really work... I though.

I wave my hand in front of Kankuro's face and notice that he didn't react.

Their won't see you in this stage. I heard the Phoenix's voice in my head.

Oh... I though before I suddenly felt a 'pull'.

Follow the feeling. It will leading to Sasuke. The Phoenix said to me mentalily.

Right. I agreed and start to fly in direction the 'pull' was leading me.

I fly through the forest, dodging the trees, determinated.

I could feel myself getting closer until I stop. "SASUKE!!" I shout out.

Standing on a tree brunch in front of me, breathing heavy.

"Nikki..." He whispered at the sight of me.

(I picture it like this.)

I break into a smile.

As Nikki broke into a bright smile before floating over Sasuke for a hug.

"Sasuke!"

"Nikki!"

Sasuke was about to hug Nikki aswell however she went through him.

Sasuke eyes widened into shock.

"Nik...ki..." He mumble in shock as he turn to her.

Nikki didn't turn to him. "I'm sorry... I forget." She start to explain.

Nikki's POV

I finish explain to Sasuke.

"So this is astral projection." Sasuke said looking at me in amazed. "However how am I able to see you if others can't."

I look at him surprised before holding my chin in though. "Now that you mention it..." I take a moment to think.

I believe I can answer that. We both gasp in surprise.

Sasuke look at me with widened eyes. "Is that..." He said unsure how to react.

I only nodded.

Do not be aftraid young Uchiha. The Phoenix said calmly to use telepathically. It is thanks to the ring you gave Nikki and the connection it holes, that allow me to communicate with you both telepathically. It explain causing me to look down at my ring.

I saw slight glow coming from it.

I look up to see Sasuke had turn his head away from me, cover his lower half of his face with the back of his hand, trying to hid his blush.

I blush saw I that before smiling softly.

I float closer to him. "Sasuke." I gently called out causing him to gasp as he saw how close I was. "Let's go."

Sasuke look surprise before smirked as he nodded, letting me lead him to way I had cane from.

It didn't take long in the speed we were going for us to reach them.

"There they are!" I Pointing. Toward them.

Sasuke throws a kunai toward them, hitting the tree their were on.

Third Person's POV

Temari look up to see Sasuke.

"I finally caught up." Sasuke said, stepping forward. "This is as far as you guys go."

"Dang it!" Kankuro goes annoyed.

"Sasuke Uchiha." Temari proclaimed nervously.

Saduke flip a kunai, balancing it on his index finger as Nikki float next to him, keep an eyes on her body.

"I won't let you get away now." Sasuke said with a smug before his expression turn deadly. "Hand over my girlfriend before things gets ugly."
