Nikki's POV

I watch happily as people start to clapping for Naruto's win.

"Yay, Naruto! You did it!" I cheered, jumping up and down in joy.

"That was awesome!"

"Well done!"

"That was great fight!"

I summon my wings out and fly down to him, hugging him while joing Naruto as he cheered happily.

We were laughing joyfully while jumping around.

"You did it! You did it!" I aaid, tearing up in happiness.

I let go of Naruto, only to fly over him to use to my ability to created flower petal to rain over him.

This causing him to tear up at the my chester which causing him to wip it off quickly but suddenly gasp as I grab him by under his arms, flying him up.

"Naruto smile a cheered as I fly him to the stands where Shikamaru was at.

Shikamaru congratued Naruto, once I sit him down next him as we start waiting of the next match to start.

What going on? Why haven't start the next match yet? I wondered confused.

Suddenly a Jōnin rush over to me, surprisingus as I wondered curiously as why he was here.

"Lady Mikage, I was send to ask you if you could perform once more since there is some complication." He told me.

I was shock but I could understand however I could feel my throat was a little sore.

Then an idea came to mind. "Sure, I can perform again." I agreed.

The Jōnin nodded and left to let did other know.

I close my eyes and clapped my hands together, letting my chakra surround my figure before focusing it toward my hands.

Slow parting my hands revealing a small enegry ball as I pull rhem farther apart causing it to grow larger.

Then I move my hands around as it took a form of a violine.

This shock Naruto and Shukamaru, who has watch the whole thing.

"H-how! HOW DID YOU DO?!" Naruto exclaimed in shock.

I didn't answer but give him a wink and stick out my tongue at them.

I spread out my wings and fly out of the stand to the middle of the stadium, floating in mid air.

I start playing the violine.

Everyone cheered once I finish my performance and fly back over to Naruto, once I made the violine disappeared.

After waiting for the match to start, the crowd was getting irritated.

"What'sgoing on?!"

"Hurry up and start the next match!"

"How long are you going to make us wait!"

"Before night falls!"

The crowd comments, making me confused as to what was going on.

Sasuke. I though worried.

"That guy... What in the world is he doing?! Is he planning not to show up?" Shikamaru said.

"A wise man never courts danger... A wise judgement...is it?" Shino said.

"What are you saying?" Naruto said causing me to turn to me. "He'll definitely come! Believe it!"

This causing me smile at his faith in his rival.

I jump up and sit on the railing as I listen to the audience camplain.

"C'mon, what happened to the match?!"

"What happened to Uchiha?!"

I look to the two Jōnin as their were discussing something before the Jōnin left, leaving Genma.

"Everyone! The candidate for the next battle has not arrived here! We'll briefly postpone this battle and start the following battle ahead of it." Genma-san explain, shocking everyone.

Sasuke, what are you doing? I though worried but also relief that he wouldn't be disqualified.

"That's good..." Naruto sigh in relief.

Shikamaru gasp. "Hey! That means my match is one match closer!" He said, shocked.

"Looks like it, Shikamaru." I said.

"Then, on to the next pair! Kankuro and Shino Aburame! Come down!" Genma-san announced.

"Good luck, Shino." I said smiling at him.

Shino nodded as thanks however Kankuro suddenly spike up.

"What?!"

"I abstain! Please advance the matches!" Kankura said causing the crowd to complain.

Genma-san sigh. "Due to Kankuro's abstention, Shino Aburame wins by default!" He said over the audience complaining.

"What's that all about?!"

"Have a proper match!"

I sweat nervously as I heard the crowd before I gasp when an intense wind appeared out of nowhere, only to see that it was appeared out of nowhere, only to see that it was on her gaint fan and float down, next to the proctor.

This also cause the crowd to their complained.

"You are...?" Genma-sansaid.

"It'smy turn, isn't it?" Temari said, simply.

"It seems that you're really fired up." Genma-san commented. "Okay, let's go to the next match. Hey! The last one, come down!" He called out, looking toward Shikamaru.

"Hey! Hey! What are you doing, frivolously building things up?" Shikamaru asked. "I mean, why does only my match have to be modified?" He question.

"Shikamaru Nara! You!" Genma-san called once more.

"Come on, Shikamaru! You get this!" I try to encourage him.

"C'mon! Shikamaru, fight hard!" Naruto said as he came over to slap his back before pushing him over the railing causing him to fall.

I was shock as I saw Naruto push Shikamaru over the railing causing him to fall.

I flinch at the sound of him crashing the ground.

"Naruto!" I grab Naruto by the ear and pull him to me causing him to graon in pain and start crying as I scold him.

Once I was done scold him, I let go and look at Shikamaru.

Third Person's POV

Shikamaru was laying on the ground with deadpanning expression.

That darn Naruto... Shikamaru though with a frown.

"Are you okay, Shikamaru!?" Nikki asked.

Shikamaru didn't say anything but give her a thumbs-up.

"C'mon!"

"Hurry up with the match!"

"Finish it up already!"

"Stand up and start the match!"

The crowd goes and start to throw trash at Shikamaru.

Evidently people don'twant to see the monor player's matches since they were really looking forward to Sasuke's match... If people aren't expecting anything exciting from this battle, make no sense for me to have it. Shikamaruthough as he look toward Temari.

"What? You're giving up, too?" Temari asked mockingly.

My opponent's a girl again? He though.

"Hey, why aren't you moving?!"

"Cmon, get started."

Nikki let out a huff of air as she was getting annoying by the crowd which causing Naruto to sweat, nervously/worried that she going to explosded at the crowd.

That kid has had zero fighting spirit from the beginning... Asuma though.

"C'mon! What is he doing?!" Naruto said stompimg his feets, excitingly. "C'mon Shikamaru! Get it together and do it!"

"If you don't come, I'll go!" Temari exclaim before running toward Shikamaru.

"Hey! Haven't started yet..." Genma said.

"Man, that girl is so gund-ho." Shikamaru commented, deadpans. He pull out two kunais.

Nikki's POV

The fight was incredible but I could help but giggle when Shikamaru give up because it was so like him.

"W-what did you say?!" Temari was shock and confused.

The crowd was outraged by Shikamarufor quitting so fast. Declared Temari the winner.

"I've used too much chakra from Shadow Possession Jutsu in raped succession. I can't hold it another 10 seconds. I thought of the next trick 200 times. But I'm out of time..." Shikamaruexplainas the jutsu stop.

"This has become such a pain. Doing one match is good..." Shikamaru said.

"The winner is Temari!" Genma-san announced.

"Well, I have to say that Shikamarudid amazing until did end." I said.

"Oh, I'm tired..." Shikamarusaid, rubbing his shoulder.

I smile and held out my hand as a butterfly appeared over it. I lean in to blow it gently causing it to mutiply as their flying toward Shikamaru.

He was surprise when the butterflies landed on him and start to glow, healing his injuries as their disappearedonce their were done.

Shikamarulooked around until his glance landed on me, seeing me with the same butterfly on my finger as the once that heal him.

I smile at him as it fade away causing him to nod a thanks to me.

"Why the heck did he give up! Is he an idiot?!" Naruto complain angrily. "This ticks me off!"

I notice what he was about to do. "Hey, Naruto... Wait!" I was to late to stop him as he already launching of the balcony.

"I'm gonna really give him a lecture!" Naruto exclaimed.

I sigh, as my wings came out and I fly after him.
