I woke up by the light of the sun that shine through my window curtain.

I blink a few time as I sit up and stretching my my arms over my head while yawning.

I pull off my blanket as I stood up, running my fingers through my messy hair but then I notice my calendar at my night table. I went over to it and took it and smile as today was the day for the explanatory meeting.

I when into the kitchen and start making breakfast as while as lunch. Today is the I'll be put into a team with a new sensei to train me to become stronger ninja. I thought while cooking my, excitingly.

After eating I took a quick shower and change into my new ninja outfit.

I lock my door behind me and made my way over to the academy but suddenly hear some loud noise behind me causing me to look back only to be startled when I saw Sakura and Into racing each other and not looking at what is in front of them.

I quickly her out of the way but an elderly lady was not so lucky as she knocked out and her things fell to the ground.

I quickly run over to her. "Are you alright ma'am." I asked as I help her up and pick up her things.

"Oh yes, thank you dear but what on earth was that?" She replied as I handle her things and I saw her looking at my forehead protector, around my neck. "I see your a ninja." She said smiling at me.

"Yeah I am and about those two, their are rival so it's nothing new." I told her as I wave good bye to her and continue my way to the academy.

As I enter my classroom I stop when I saw the scene in front of me.

Right in front of me was Sasuke and Naruto who was KISSING ON THE LIPS?!!

I could believe it. "Pff... Hahhaha!" I laugh out loud as tear fall down while Naruto and Sasuke pull apart and start coughing and spitting while holding their throat as I was laugh harder.

"Naruto, I'm going to kill you." I hear Sasuke said between coughing.

I calm down and went over to Sasuke as Naruto was being beating by the angry fangirls while I stood next to him as he was sitting. "I let me guess that was you first kiss." I tease him causing him to glare at me but I stick out my tongue at him playfully.

I yelp as I was suddenly pull to him and landed on his lap. "Don't tease me Nikki or I'll have to show you what happens when teasing me." Sasuke whispered into first ear. I gasp jump back blushing as I help my ear embarrassed.

I quickly walk over to Naruto and start healing him, surprising the whole class but I ignore it as I focus.

"By the way, what are you doing here Naruto? I was told you fail?" I asked as I finish heal him but then glare at him. "You didn't sneak in did you?"

"Nope I pass." Naruto said holding his forehead protector while grinning.

I look at him surprise before smiling. Naruto found a way to graduated which mean his closer to his dream.

"I see, that makes me happy for you." I said as he pull me to a hug which I return as Iruka-sensei entering and told us to sit down.

Naruto went over to sit next to Sakura, who was sitting in between him and Sasuke. As I walk pass Sasuke to sit behind him, he grabs my hand and pull me down causing me to squeaked quietly as I end up sitting next to him on the other side of him.

"How did you know medical ninjutsu?" Sasuke whispered in my ear. "When I was 5 I read about it and wanted to learn about it so I train." I explain to him, ignoring the death glares that was send my way as he nodded in understanding.

"Starting today, you are all officially ninjas, but... You all still newly Genins, a first level ninja but that not all it's going to get a lot harder from here. You all will be in a group of three, where you will accomplish mission under a Jōnin teacher." I listen to Iruka-sensei and wondering who my team member would be.

"I wonder who's going to be in Sasuke's team" I heard Into said as I look over at Sakura and Ino.

"I don't know." Sakura said to her while glare at her from the corner of her eyes while I sigh at them.

"Tch." I look at Sasuke who look annoyed. "What's wrong Sasuke?" I asked him.

He looks at me from the corner of his eyes before answering. "A group of three are just going to be a burden to me."

I pouted at him. "You don't know that Sasuke." I lightly scolded him.

He look at me with a smirk as he wrap his arm around my waist and rest his hand on my hip as he pull me closes. "But if you were in my group, it won't be so bad after all." He purred into my ear quietly as no one had notice it as I blush and look away.

I turn back to listen to Iruka-sensei. "We're arranged the groups base on such as over all the abilities are equivalently. I will now announce the team." I waited patiently for my name to be called out.

"Next squad 7th. Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno." Iruka-sensei announced.

"Yay!" Naruto cheered.

"I'm doom." Sakura said as she drop her head in depression.

"And Sasuke Uchiha." Iruka-sensei added.

"Yay!" Sakura cheered, feeling better.

"I'm doom." Naruto said depressed as he drop his head.

"And since we have uneven number of students Nikki Mikage will be joining squad 7th." Iruka-sensei said all the boy in class to groan in disappointment while Naruto cheered once again and Sasuke was looking down at me with a smirk while Sakura looks annoying.

"Next squad 8th. Hinata Hyunga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame." I look at Hinata and saw the sad look on her face.

Oh poor Hinata, she really wanted to be in Naruto's group. I thought feeling sad for her since I know of her crush on Naruto.

I look at Sakura to see her make the peace sign in victor at Ino which angered her. "Why do you get to be with him!" Ino said furiously.

"*Sigh* Why do girls like such guy anyway?" Shikamaru asked lazy, resting his cheek in his hand.

Ino turn to him. "Don't you even know, Shikamaru?" Ino replied still angry.

"I'm not a girl." He stated the obvious.

Ino look at him before sigh. "That's why you're not popular. I wouldn't want to be team up with a guy like you." She said.

I roll my eyes at her. You'll never know Ino.

"Squad 10th. Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara." Iruka-sensei announce, surprising her while I smirk.

"Looks like you have to team up with me." Shikamaru tease her making her glare at him angrily.

"And... Choji Akimichi."

I giggle at her horrified expression.

"That's all for the groups" Iruka-sensei finish.

Suddenly Naruto stand up. "Iruka-sensei! Why is a top student like me in a group with this guy?!" Naruto complained, pointing at Sasuke which earned him a glares from Sakura and a sigh from me.

Iruka-sensei look up at him. "Sasuke is one of the student that graduated with the highest scores. And you Naruto, had the worst scores. This happens because we want to evenly divide abilities between the group." He explain to us.

"Don't pull my leg, blockhead." Sasuke insulted Naruto causing everyone to laugh while irritated Naruto, who was about to say something back at him but was stop by Sakura asking a question.

"Sensei you say Sasuke is one of the students with the highest score, who is the other one?" Sakura asked causing everyone to stop laughing and looked at him curiously.

Iruka-sensei smile at me. "That would be Nikki." He answer causing everyone to look at me in awe, mostly boy while the girls look at me in jealousy.

I send them a close eye smile while sticking my tongue out with a small blush on my cheeks causing all the boys to blush except Naruto, who give a thumbs-up while Sasuke glares at the boys.

"I'm going to introduce the Jōnin teachers in the afternoon. Meeting is adjourned until then." Iruka-sensei said dismissing us.

I handle Naruto the lunch that I made and told him that I will like to eat alone this time which he understood and left as I when over to a tree and eating my lunch under it.

Once I finish my lunch I went into the academy hallways when I suddenly hear some noise that sound like someone is struggling. I follow the noise to the of the stores room, lean closer. I put my ear against the door and I hear the noise.

I pull out a kunai and slowly grab the door handle. I gulp my breath as I was nervous before inhale and exhale to calm down my tense muscles.

I slowly open the door and my eyes widened at what I saw in front of me. What I saw was a tied up Sasuke who was struggling to get free that he hasn't notice my present yet.

I let out my breath and sigh at my silliness. Come on Nikki, you are a ninja. You will be facing situation like this when you're going on mission so keep yourself together. I told myself mentally.

"Sasuke." He stop his struggle when he heard my voice and look up at me as he blush when I was standing in front of him. He turn his head away from me, probably embarrassed as I went over to him and kneel down, cutting him free. "What happen?" I asked him as gently removed the taped from his mouth.

"It's nothing, just Naruto who caught me off guard, that's all." He replied, rubbing his wrists as I notice that their were turn slightly red from the rope being tied too tighten.

"Here, let me see." I said, gently hold his hand as I put one hand over his wrist as a green glow appeared in my hand as I heal his wrist and did the same to the other one.

"Thanks Nikki." Sasuke thanked me once I finish and held my hand while looking into my eyes.

I sigh. "I'm sorry about Naruto, Sasuke." I apologize as he rubbed my knuckle with his thumb.

"You don't need to apologize for the dobe." He said softly as help me up but he put much forces which cause me to tremble into his chest.

I look up at him as my hands rest on his chest. "Sasuke, if you like. I can help you look for Naruto." I suggested.

Sasuke smile and gently hold my hand as he lead me out of the stores room and we begin looking for Naruto together.

We walk out of the academy and look around until we came across Sakura, who look excited over something when she saw Sasuke and not caring about present.

Sakura squeaking into her hands. "Sasuke, you're such a shy guy." Sasuke ignored her as we walk pass her together. "Are you emotionally prepared? Cause I am." She said but she notice we had walk pass her. "W...wait! Sasuke?" She called out which he had finally stop while I look around for Naruto.

"Where's Naruto?" I look over at Sakura when Sasuke asked her.

"Changing the subject again? Forget about Naruto. All he does is pick fight with you. It's probably because he's had such an irregular childhood." I look at her surprised at how she could say such things without knowing what Naruto has been through and Sasuke going through the some as Naruto.

"Oh yeah, you know how he doesn't have parents right? He's always doing selfish things. My parents would scold me if I do such those things." She continue, not notice the affected her words has on Sasuke as I could feel him tighter his grip on my hand which started to hurt as he glare at her from the corner of his eyes.

I ignored the pain in my hand and gently place my other hand on his arm and gently run it up and down on his arm, trying to calm him down. Sasuke slowly relax as his grip losses a little.

"If you're alone, your parents wouldn't get mad at you. That why he's so selfish and all done." She finish.

"The solitude..." I look at Sasuke worry as his back was facing Sakura while I saw the pain on his face as the wind blown through my hair. "You can even compare it to the it to the level of where your parents get mad at you." He told her as he look at me and his eyes soften.

"W-what's the matter?" Sakura asked, take back by the hash tone of his voice.

"Because..." Sasuke started and turn toward her with a death glare. "You're annoying." He stated harshly causing her to gasp in shock as he walk away dragging me with him.

I looked at Sakura over my shoulder as I saw that she had finally notice my present and stared at our hands in surprised.

I stared at Sasuke's back as we're heading to the academy. Sakura's words has really getting to him ever if it was about Naruto, it still affect him since he lost his family too. I thought worried.

"Sasuke." I called out to him as I stopped at my steps causing him to stop as well, not looking at me. "Are you okay." I asked nervous that I may making it worst.

Sasuke didn't answer me but stay silent. I slowly slide my hand free and went in front of him as his head was down. I frown and gently put my hand on his cheek and lift it up slightly so I could see his face and what I saw broken my heart at the painful expression on his face.

I shake my head at how Sakura had cost him to feel like that and slowly wrap my arms around his neck and pull him towards me as I rest my chin on his shoulder as I hug him. "I'm sorry Sasuke, please remember your strong so don't let her words bother you." I whispered into his ear before gently kiss his cheek.

Sasuke was tense before relaxing and wrap his arms around my waist, hugging me back. "Thanks Nikki." He replied quietly as he nuzzle his cheek against the side of my head.

After a few minute we pull back and I saw Sasuke's face had soften. He smile at me and gently hold both of my cheeks causing me to look at him curiously until I gasp, surprise as he kiss my forehead.

"Sasuke..." I said speechless and he just smirk at my reaction and gently took my hand as we continue our search for Naruto.

As we walk in silence until I saw Naruto up ahead, he look like he was in a hurry for something.

When Naruto saw Sasuke, he was shock. "Why are you here? How did you get out." Naruto demanded to know.

"The escape technique, pretty basic jutsu. No sweat." Sasuke said like is was no big deal which cause me to raise an eyebrow at him since I was the one to free him. " why did you transform into me?" He question Naruto as he let go of my hand.

"I just did it's because it seemed like fun." Naruto responded and surprised me as he did the shadow clone jutsu in the middle of did air and when to attack Sasuke.

"Tch. Damn it, the shadow clone jutsu again?" I heard Sasuke say to himself, annoyed.

"I'm going to show you that..." On Naruto clone said. "I'm really greatest..." A second one continued. "By defeating you!" Another one finished.

"Prepare yourself!" All Narutos' said together.

Suddenly all the Narutos' stopped and holding their stomachs while groan in pain. I tilted my head slightly in confused. "Bathroom!" They all said and quickly ran towards it then their suddenly fight over entering it.

I blink a few time, trying to process of what I had just been watching then I sigh as I shake my head. Idiot. Was the only thing I thought of.

"Well that was surely interesting." I joked causing Sasuke to chuckle.

"That dobe had probably eating something bad." Sasuke said as we begin to head back to our classroom.

"I wouldn't be surprise if that was the cause." I agreed with him and I suddenly stop to look up at the sky as the wind blowing through my hair causing it to dance with the wind.

"Nikki, are you coming?" I blink and turn to see Sasuke had stop as well and was waiting for me.

"Oh! Sorry Sasuke." I said and quickly run up to him but then suddenly I tripped and the world seem to have slow down as I saw Sasuke catch me but the impact cost him to fall backward.

*Thud!!*

I felt us hit the ground as I had close my eyes but something soft was press against my lips causing me to snap my eyes open, only to stared into black eyes that was also staring into my.

Reality hit me as I quickly pull back, blushing like crazy and start to panicking. "I'm so sorry Sasuke! It was an accde-hmpf!!" Sasuke grab the back of my head and slam his lips on my causing my eyes to widened but slowly closing them as I melt into the kiss.

Sasuke slide his hand down to my neck and the other one around my waist while mine was wrap around his neck pulling him closer to me.

We slowly pull apart because of the need for air came to us while our forehead resting against each other.

I felt the coldness of the metal plate of his forehead protector as we quietly panting heavy as our cheeks had turn pink.

I open my eyes as he pull back. "I'm so sorry Nikki, I couldn't help it but wanted to kiss you more." I blush at his comment but then I notice he was clenching his fists tightly. "I CAN BELIEVE I JUST STOLE YOUR FIRST KISS!" I flinch when Sasuke yelled at himself while pulling his hair in one hand and the other one had punch the wall next to him in furious as I look at him worried and gently bite my lower lips.

"I don't mind..." I said gently causing Sasuke to turn to me, looking shock. I put my fist over my chest, looking away. "I mean it was an accident. You didn't stole it so I don't blame you." I slightly turn to him with a small smile. "I know you would never do that to me willingly."

Sasuke look at me surprise. "Thank you Nikki." He said as he had a small smile.

I start to feel nervous at my next question. "Sasuke...um... H-how was the kiss?" I asked playing with my hair.

Suddenly Sasuke burst out laughing causing me to look at him shock and embarrassed. "H-hey! It's n-not f-funny, y-y-you k-know." I stuttering madly as my mind was spinning and steam came out of my face.

Sasuke calm down with a few chuckle slipping out as he walk up to me and grab some of my hair, bring it up to his lips. "It was one of the best and sweetest kiss I have been giving today." He said into it and kiss it after. "After all it makes me want to kiss you more now." I look at him with wide eyes and my face turn completely red.

Sasuke chuckle. "But it can wait." He said as he let go of my hair and grab my hand, leading me to our classroom.
