I watch carefully at Zabuza and Haku's every move, keeping my guard up for when their attack us.

"Oh,my... My student prediction was right." Kakashi-sensei exclaimed, looking at me.

Zabuza saw it and look at me in confusion. "Her prediction?"

"The masked guy." Kakashi-sensei said which made Sakura frown in annoyed by all the praising I was getting.

"Just like Nikki thought." Sasuke said proudly causing Sakura's frown to deeper.

"So it was a lie that he was a pursuing Ninja from the hidden village of the mist." Tazuna said, shocked.

"Yes, I believe he's on matter how you look at it. I can assume he was using the pursuing Ninja as a cover for Zabuza to get away." I explain as I narrow my eyebrows.

"Exactly Nikki. They're lined up so nicely." Kakashi-sensei said proudly at me.

"Who does he think he is, coming out like that..." Sakura complained.

"I hate conceited kids live that." Kakashi-sensei said causing me to sweat drop. But you're no different Kakashi-sensei. I thought.

"He's better than you in that field, Kakashi-sensei." Sakura stated the obvious to him.

"Really?" Kakashi-sensei said slightly offered.

"I'll fight him." Sasuke exclaimed, surprising me. "He pulled that stupid act on us. I hate conceited guys like that."

"You're so cool, Sasuke." Sakura said, squealing at him.

"Sakura never corrects Sasuke..." Kakashi-sensei said deadpanned, along with me at her obsession of Sasuke.

I watch as Haku suddenly large to us. "What?" Sasuke said surprised as Haku spin inside a tornado towards us causing Sasuke to pull out two kunai quickly.

Haku attack with his senbon needles but Sasuke quickly block it.

"Oh? He was able to catch up to his speed." Zabuza comment in impression with Sasuke.

"Nikki, Sakura stick with Tazuna and don't get to far from me." Kakashi-sensei instructed us as we watch Sasuke block all of Haku's attack while standing guard in front of Tazuna. "We'll let Sasuke deal with him."

"Right." I said in agreement.

I continue to watch the fight when I saw Sasuke's lips were moving which means that they were talking since I couldn't hear them but suddenly Haku surprised us when we saw him do a one hand seals.

Before slamming his foot into the water from the ground which causing it to raise into the air as they turn into ice needles which was now surrounding them both.

Before sending them charge at Sasuke.

Sasuke! I thought as I cover my mouth in worried while Haku had jump out of the way.

But as it cleaned Sasuke was not there. I gasp as I sense him which lead me to look up where he was at, I sigh in relief that he was okay.

As Sasuke up in did air, he thrower shurikens at Haku, who jump out of the way from them.

Sasuke disappeared in middle air and appeared behind Haku, catching him by surprised which causing me to smile.

I watch as Sasuke attack Haku but it was block which give Sasuke the opponent to pull out a kunai and throw it at Haku which causing Haku to bend down which give Sasuke an opening to kick Haku to Zabuza, who had watch it all in shock.

"You can't make fun of our team just because we have children. Sasuke is the village of Konoha's top rookie. Sakura is the village's shrewdest child. Nikki is our top female rookie as while as Konoha's most hard working kunoichi." Kakashi-sensei told them which causing me to smile confidently while taking a fighting stand in front of Tazuna. "And the other one likes to show off and is number one surprising people. He's the noisy Ninja. Naruto." He finished.

Zabuza started chuckle which confused me. "Haku, do you understand that you're going to get defeated like this?" He told Haku while looking at me. Why is he looking at me like I'm some sort of jewel. I wondered as Zabuza suddenly smirk at me. "And remember we need the girl alive." He added, surprising all of us but Kakashi-sensei, who narrow his eye at Zabuza while glares at them.

"Yes." Haku responded which harden Sasuke's glares.

What's happening? I wondered when the air suddenly turn cold as I watch Haku do another hands seal with both hands this time.

And ice started to appeared in middle air which then turn into mirrors. This jutsu... I feel like I had read about it some where but what was it about?... Wait! Is he...! My eyes widened as I looked at Sasuke worried as he was now surround by ice mirrors on both of them.

I gasp when Haku walk into of the mirror.

But I remember the jutsu Haku using. "SASUKE!" I shout out to him when I heard him screaming and gasping in pain as I could see Haku throwing his senbon needles at him.

"Tazuna, I'm sorry. I'm going to move from here for a minute." Sakura told him.

"Sure, go. I have Nikki with me." Tazuna said to her while looking at me. I nodded at him and move in front of him.

Sakura quickly run over to the kunai from earlier before running towards the ice mirror some. She pick it up quickly then jump up to the air and throw it to Sasuke but caught it before it could reach to Sasuke.

I suddenly felt this strange pain in my chest causing me to drop my kunai, catching Tazuna attention. "Nikki, are you okay?" He asked but gasp in surprised as I fall down which he quickly reacted and quickly caught me while kneeling down with me as I held my chest it pain.

"Hey! Nikki, what's wrong?!" Tazuna asked me worried as I whined before everything went blank.

Third Person's POV

"Hey! Nikki, snap out of it!" Tazuna exclaimed while shaking her gently as she was staring blankly into space with no emotion expression, like she was in a trance.

So it soon time for her wakening. Kakashi thought as look at Nikki from the corner of his eye.

The legend of the soon to waken, Phoenix Princess. Zabuza thought as he watch her too.

Nikki's POV *Inside mind*

I snap my eyes to see I had return to the blank space from the time we were assign to this mission.

"Welcome back, young one." I gasp when the Phoenix appeared before me again.

"Why am I here and where is here?" I asked the Phoenix.

"You, young Milage are inside you mind." It said to me.

"This is mine mind but why are you here?" I question it curiously.

"I'm here to help you, heal the young Uchiha heir." It answered me as it lean near me until it's beak touch my forehead.

Showing image of a died Sasuke inside my mind. "The Milage clan have the ability to heal from long distance through as song that only a Milage can sing." It told me while showing an image of a woman sing.

"What is it called and do I sing it?" I asked as it pull back it's beak.

"The song is called, Healing Sunflower. And to sing it, listen to your heart, young one." It responded as everything start to fade away.

"W-wait! I have question!" I said as I run toward it.

*Outside mind*

"Nikki! Hey Nikki! Snap out it!" Tazuna called out to me while shaking me gently as I was back in reality.

"W-what?" I said as Tazuna sigh in relief and help me stand when suddenly a shuriken came out of nowhere, hitting Haku's mask causing him to fall out of the mirror as smoke appeared. Naruto. I sense his chakra.

Third Person's POV

"Now that I'm here, everything is going to be just fine." Naruto said confidence.

"Naruto!" Nikki and Sakura both said together happily.

"The main character of a story usually appears like this and defeats the enemy in a flash!!" Naruto said pointing out.

"It's that kid." Zabuza said, looking at Naruto over his shoulder, unimpressed.

He talks to much. Sasuke though deadpanned at Naruto.

That idiot. He needs to take the enemy by surprise, not appear like that. Kakashi thought, disappointed at Naruto.

Haku looked up. "That boy..." He murmured as he remember their meeting in the forest.

"All right, let's do this. Shadow Clone-" Naruto was interrupted when Zabuza thrower shuriken at him, catching him by surprised.

"Dodge it, Naruto!" Kakashi ordered him quickly.

Naruto scream as he was about to be hit but Haku quickly in counter it by throwing his senbon needle. The impact from the senbon needle, sending the shuriken to the side along with them so they hit Naruto.

"What?" Zabuza question in shock with everybody by Haku's action.

"He was saved..." Sakura said disbelief.

"How lucky, the enemy's attacks collided with each other." Tazuna said relieved as Nikki release her breath that she was holding.

"Hey, what are you doing, Naruto?!" Sakura asked irritation as Nikki sweat drop at him. Naruto, you really need to start thinking. She thought.

"What kind of idiot tries to execute a technique right in front of an enemy?" Kakashi scolded him. "A ninja essence lies within deception. It relies on your ability to deceive your enemy. When you execute a technique, you must still do it while the enemy is not looking. You must take them by surprise, and think beyond the normal boundaries. The way appeared back there only makes you target practice." Kakashi lecture Naruto.

"Oh, crap... I came here to help, though..." Naruto said panicking.

Oh Naruto. Nikki thought as she shake her head.

"But what worries more is..." Kakashi mumble as he glares over at Haku.

That kid... Sasuke though, glares at him as well.

"Haku, what's the meaning of that?" Zabuza asked irritated.

"Zabuza, leave him to me." Haku said as he stood up. "Please let me do this fight my way."

"What did you say?" Naruto said.

"So you don't want me to interfere, Haku... As usual, you're too easy on the enemy." Zabuza said to Haku as he look down and apologize.

Too easy on the enemy, eh? He's right. Both Nikki and Sasuke thought as Sasuke looked at himself. The wounds wasn't any vital organs.

"Then, I'm going to beat you first." Naruto said confidence, pointing at Haku.

It's impossible. It's too difficult for Naruto. I should do this. Kakashi though worried.

"Hey, don't think of anything weird now. If you move, you know what's going to happen to that freezer right?" Zabuza threaten causing Kakashi to gasp in shock. True. If I leave this spot and go to Naruto, Zabuza will kill Tazuna. Sakura won't be able to stop him even with Nikki's help. Kakashi thought, looking at them from the corner of his eye.

"Let's observe how the young ones will fight shall we?" Zabuza told him arrogantly.

"That mask... So you were one of Zabuza's men. How dare you trick us!" Naruto exclaimed angrily as Haku apologize whick surprise Naruto.

What's with this guy? Nikki thought as her eyes narrow at Haku.

"But your teacher said this too... The site of a ninja is to deceive and find a unguarded spot. Please do not take it personally." Haku explained.

You don't have time to chit-chat like that! Sasuke thought as he throw a kunai at Haku but he lean his head back as the kunai fly pass him causing Sasuke to gasp in surprised.

Naruto blink surprise and saw Sasuke inside the ice mirror dome. Sasuke?

"I didn't forget about you." Haku said without taking his eyes of Naruto.

I though I didn't see him. So that's where he was. Naruto thought to himself.

"I would have liked for you to just lie there quietly but I guess I can't expect that." Haku said looking at Sasuke. "Very well, I will finish the match with you first." He finished before entering the ice mirror again, shocking Naruto.

"H-hey!" Naruto called out to Haku causing him to halt.

"Naruto, I'll deal with you later." Haku told him before before entering the mirror completely.

Who is he...? Naruto wondering.

He's here! Sasuke thought as look around. So that's where he is...

"This way." Sasuke gasp in shock with widen eyes as Haku was behind him.

He moved? How? Sasuke as Haku appeared in all the mirrors. Suddenly Sasuke scream in pain as senbon needles came all direction, hitting him.

"SASUKE!!" Nikki shout out to him as she heard groan and scream in pain. As did Naruto and Sakura along with her.

What was that? Sasuke's body was torn to shreds in a flash. What kind of trick is he using? Naruto thought look at the mirror dome.

What kind of technique is he using? Those possibilities include him putting replications in the mirrors and making them throw the needles, all at once... No, it's too fast for that possibility to be true. Why can't I even track down the trajectory of the weapon? And if he is just using replications I see no reason for these mirrors. But there's no doubt attacks! Sasuke thought as hold his shoulder, over his wound.

What they can do is to attack from both the outside and inside... Kakashi thought.

And to determine what those mirrors are for. Sakura thought as she had getting same thought as Kakashi.

I'll need to... Naruto thought.

I guess I'll have to attack from the inside, and make Naruto attack from the outside. Sasuke thought as he figure out a plan.

Naruto, please don't do anything stupid like always. Nikki prayed.

"Hey, I came to help you!" Naruto said, surprising Sasuke as he fall down to ground while Nikki almost stumbled on to the ground as Naruto screwed up.

"Are you okay, Sasuke?" Naruto asked him with a grins as he hadn't realized what he had done.

What's the point in taking your allies by surprise...? Kakashi thought deadpanned while Nikki face palm at him. Oh Naruto.

"You idiot! If you're a ninja, be more careful!" Sasuke proclaimed annoying.

"What's with that attitude? I came to help you!" Naruto said offered.

"If you come into the mirror as well... Damn it! Forget it, idiot." Sasuke looking away from Naruto.

"Idiot? What do you mean idiot?!" Naruto question him angry.

He is no doubt the number one ninja in surprising people. He came to help, but he's only making the situation worse. Kakashi thought dumbfound.

"I'll just have to destroy the mirror, then! Fire Style..." Sasuke start while forming the hands seal but Naruto interrupted him. "Hey, what are you going to do?"

"These are mirrors made of frozen water. Then... Fireball Jutsu!" SASUKE exclaimed, blowing a ball of fire toward the mirrors.

However the attack made no damage on the mirrors. "It didn't work at all!" Naruto complained. It didn't work, how is that possible?! Nikki thought shocked while sweated slightly nervously.

"It won't melt with that kind of fire power." Haku told them as Sasuke gritted his teeth's in furious.

Suddenly out of nowhere, the mirrors listed up, blinding them as Sasuke and Naruto whined while being send flying suddenly as they hit the ground with a this, they groan in pain.

"Damn it, where is he attacking from? Are those replication?" Naruto said, standing up. "Where's the real one?" He looked around.

"There's no use in trying to follow me with eyes. I will never be caught." Haku said monotone.

Naruto formed a hands seal. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto summoned. "Stop it!" Sasuke said trying to stop him but he was too late.

"Then I'll destroy all of the mirrors and see which one real!" Naruto exclaimed as he and his clone launch to attacked the mirrors however Haku easily destroy Naruto's clone and send him back to Sasuke.

"This is a traveling technique that utilizes mirror reflections that only reflect me. From my speed, you two look like you're standing still." Haku told them causing Kakashi to gasp. Just as I thought...!

"That must be a Kekkei Genkai technique." Kakashi exclaimed causing Zabuza to chuckle.

"Kekkei Genkai?" Sakura repeated looking at him.

"It's the same kind of thing as my Sharingan. They are techniques that are only passed down through deep blood relations and through the genealogy of those with superior body structures."

"That means...!" Nikki proclaimed in shock her eyes widened.

"Yes, even o cannot copy that technique. And there is no way to get past that technique." Kakashi answered seriously.

"Damn it." Naruto murmured while looking down causing a shadow to cover his eyes. "So what...? I can't die here... I still have a dream I need to achieve... The dream to make the villagers recognize me and become the Hokage!" Naruto exclaimed determinedly.

"Dream." Haku whispered to himself.

"It is difficult for me to become a pure ninja. If it's possible, I do not want to kill you and I do not want to make you kill me. However, if you are going to fight me, I will kill my compassion with a blad and become a ninja. This bridge is a battle ground that leads to the dreams of many people. I will fight for my dream. And you will fight for your dream. Please do not hold any grudges. I want to protect an important person. I want to work for him, fight for him, and makes his dreams come true. That is my dream. In order to make it come true, I will become a ninja. I will kill you!" Haku proclaimed with pure determination and passion causing Naruto to grinning in excitement while Sasuke smirk as he look at Nikki from the corner of his eyes as they soften when he saw her worries before he turn back to Haku, looking at him with determination burning in his eyes.
