Inside the Hokage building was a young girl at the age of 5 with her brown hair tied into a ponytail, who was playing the violin in front of the third Hokage. Who listen to the beautiful yet soft melody.

As the girl finish playing and let out a soft sigh as she look at the third Hokage and asked. "So what do you think grandpa Hokage?" Soft smile was on his face making her smile too. "It's was beautiful my dear. What do you call it?" He asked curiously.

The young girl though for a sec but then the biggest smile form on her face. "Melody, I call it melody." She answered proudly to the Hokage, who was a bit confuse with the girl's choice of name. "Why that name?"

(Note; I don't own the song but I change the name. So ignore the name I have put in my story and it real name is on the video.)

"Because when I play it, I feel at peace, like the world is calm and all the bad things is gone. I want this song to help the people remember that we all have something good inside of us." The girl explain, eyes close as she recall when she wrote it.

The third Hokage look at her with widened eyes before their soften as he let out a small chuckle. "I see. You have such a kind heart, like a phoenix that bring warm and kindness while leading the path to the light in the darkness." He wisely compliment her causing her to look at him in pure joy and jumping around causing him to laugh at her with her along with him. "Is a perfect name, my dear." She blush, happy that he like her choice of name as she had stop jumping and run to the Hokage to hug him which made he smile softly at the girl as he gently pat her head.

She pull back from the hug. "Well grandpa it's getting late, so I'll be going home now." She said as she walk over to her violin and put it in it's case. "Bye bye." She say as well as waving to him as she walk out of his office. "Be safe!" The third Hokage called out to her and shake his head with a smile.

The young girl hummed a tune as she walk the streets of Konoha while passing by some of the villagers, who start to whispered to themselves.

"Hey is it that girl who visit Lord Hokage everyday?"

"Who does she think she is."

"I heard she play music to Lord Hokage."

"I once heard her sing and it was beautiful."

"The brat shouldn't bothering Lord Hokage with her silly music."

She hear all of their comments but ignored it and held her head high. Suddenly she saw a group of older boys who was surrounding a boy her age with blonde hair. They were calling him names while throwing punch and kicks at him as the blonde boy try his best to protect his head with his arms. The girl was shock at such a scene.

How could they be so mean. She though as suddenly had an idea. She remember that she had been practicing Genin level jutsu that she had been reading in a book she brought a few months ago.

She took a deep breath and performed the hands seal needed and whispered. "Transform." A cloud of smoke covered her completely as it fade away, revealing the third Hokage, who was the one she had transform into. She look at her reflection to made sure she looks exactly like grandpa.

She nodded in improvement as she fold her hands behind her back like the third Hokage when the two of them takes a walk around the village together.

She walk over to the group without them notice her present. "What is happen here?" She said as her voice sounded like the third Hokage's voice. The boys froze and slowly turn toward 'him' as she stood calmly yet seriously. "Oh crap! It's Lord Hokage." One boy from the group whispered to did others.

"You should be ashamed of yourself. Treating another member of our village like this, you bring dishonor to the name of Konoha. Leave at once and the next time I catch you doing something so disrespectful I'll have to talk to your parents. Do I make myself clear." She told with a calm tone yet with powerful too.

The group of boys turn pale at her tone and quickly nodded before shout a 'sorry' as they run away with they're tail between their legs.

Once they were out off sight she release the jutsu with a *poof* and she was back to normal as she let out a huffed before she walk over to the blonde hair boy.

She help him stand up and brush of the dirt of his clothes while he stay quiet as he watch her every movement. While dusting of the dirt she saw his bruises and cuts. "Come let's go to my place and treat your injuries." She told him softly and gently took a hold of his wrist and lead the way to her home.

As they enter her condo, the blonde boy look around in amazed at how big it was while sitting on the sofa, waiting for the brown hair girl to return with the first aid kit.

Once she return, she start treating his wounds with him twitching now and then. "By the way, I'm Nikki Mikage. What's yours?" She asked him while rubbing some medicine on before wrapping on badged. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, believe it!" Naruto replied a little loud which cause Nikki to flinch in surprised after she had finish treating him.

"There! All done!" Nikki cheered, proudly at how well she had taking care of Naruto's wounds.

"Wow! I feel a lot better and the bruice doesn't hurt so much anymore!" Naruto told her in surprise and shock.

Nikki giggle at his expression. "That's because it's hand-made with a special flower call blue fire dragon. It's smooth the injury muscle so it heal a lot fast." She explain to Naruto.

"Wow! The awesome, believe it!" Naruto exclaimed, looking at her in awe. " you'll make an amazing medical-nin."

Nikki's eyes lit up in delight. "You really think so!" She asked in excitement.

"Yeah! Is that your dream to become a great medical-nin." Naruto tell her but was confuse when Nikki shake head. "No, I don't really have a dream. I wanted to learn medical ninjutsu so I can be useful for my teammate when I become a ninja." She told him honestly as she put away the first aid kit.

"What about you? What's your dream?" Nikki asked him curiously.

"I'm going to be the next Hokage!" Naruto exclaimed, determined.

"Hokage?" She tilted her head slightly to the side with a confuse expression.

Naruto look down, his eyes showing sadness. "Everyone in the village are always disrespecting me, calling me a monster but..." He look up and his eyes was burning with determination. "...I'll prove to all of them by becoming the next Hokage then their have to show me respect." He finish explaining.

Nikki look at him amazed before she smile brightly. "I believe you can do it, Naruto." She cheered out, surprising him as he looked at her with wide eyes. "R-really?! You mean it!" She smile at him and nodded causing Naruto to smile in happiness.

Suddenly Naruto realize something. "Hey, where are your parents?" He asked curiously while Nikki's eyes sadden as she give him a sad smile. "Well they're dead, that's what grandpa Hokage have told me." She told him sadly.

Naruto felt guilty for asking and decided to change subject. He saw a piano. "You play?" He asked pointing over at the piano causing Nikki to turn over to it. She look back at him and smile a happy smile. "Yeah!" She said in delight.

"Can I hear some?!" Naruto barely shout in excitement as he lean close to her personal space which cause her to sweat drop as she basically saw stars in his eyes before she agreed.

Nikki walk over to the piano and sit on the bench and begin to play. As she play, her fingers gracefully across the keys as her eyes was close which allow her to express her music with passion in each note.

Naruto look at Nikki in amazed as he watch her lightly swing to the side to side as well as he heard her humming along the song.

As the song came to an end, Nikki let a sigh, satisfy with herself. "T-that...w-was amazing!" Naruto stuttered as he was in awe.

Nikki looked at him, smiling as she was happy. "Thank you Naruto. I'm glade you like it." She response gracefully.

*growling!*

They both blush in embarrassment while covering their stomach that was rumbling but then they burst out laughing together. "Would you like to stay for some food, Naruto. I'm going to make some ramen with a side dish of rice balls." Nikki asked Naruto as she wiped of a tear.

Naruto look exciting. "Really!" He question which Nikki response with a nod. "I love some ramen, believe it." He cheered causing Nikki to giggle.

"Your welcome to look around while I cook the food." She said as she entered the kitchen.

Naruto walk around the condo, he has been in laundry room, her bedroom, the guestroom, bathroom and he must say her place is larger then his. He went inside another room but it was fill with bookshelves full with books of many kind. Wow! She really has many books.

Naruto realized that it was her study room, so he left and when back to the living room and just waited there as he sit back on the sofa.

After awhile Nikki came in the living room with two large bowls of ramen and put them on the coffee table. "Hey Nikki, you sure do have many books. Why is that?" He asked her curiously as he kneel down to the table.

"Huh?!" Naruto question had caught her of guard bit then she giggle when she realize what he had asked her. "Well I read a lot and I like to be prepared for when we enter the Academy but I would guess I'm like a bookworm." She said and joke the last part before she went back into the kitchen, only to return with a plates of rice balls.

"Wow! This looks delicious, I can't wait." Naruto said, drooling at the sight which cause Nikki to giggle.

"Thank you for the food!" Both Naruto and Nikki pray with their hands clap together before they begin to eat.

In the middle of eating Nikki looked up at Naruto, who was happily eating the ramen and would pop a rice ball in his mouth once in a while.

"Hey Naruto." She called to him. "Mm..." Was all his could replied since his mouth was full of ramen at the moment.

"Can we be friends?" Naruto suddenly choke, being caught off guard. He quickly drink the water that Nikki had quickly giving him.

Naruto sigh in relief Nikki look at him worried. "Are you okay, Naruto?" He didn't answers her but give a thumbs-up.

"Did you really mean it?" Naruto asked with hope in his voice.

"Of course, I'll be the friend of the future Hokage." Nikki joked causing both to chuckle both of them to laugh.

What they didn't know was that their were being watch by the third Hokage, through a crystal ball with a smile as he saw them having fun as Nikki play the piano while Naruto dance around causing him to chuckle amusements.

"The Mikage Phoenix works in wonderful way, just to bring warm to others." He said to himself as he turn to the window and look at the night sky.

Wonder what kind of a journey the young Mikage has to go through in the future.
